  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Scores twice in narrow defeat

Gibson carried 13 times for 45 yards and two touchdowns while catching all four of his targets for 20 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Lions.

Gibson struggled to the tune of 3.5 yards per carry against a beatable Detroit defensive front, but he wound up with an admirable fantasy line thanks to a pair of rushing touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He also reached four receptions for the fourth time in his last six games, though he did little in that department outside a 13-yard catch and run. The dynamic rookie now has four touchdowns in his last three games and seven through his first nine NFL outings. He'll look to add to his numbers next Sunday in a favorable matchup against the Bengals.

  • Ronald Jones RB | DAL

Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Explodes for career-best day

Jones rushed 23 times for 192 yards and a touchdown while also securing one of two targets for six yards in the Buccaneers' 46-23 win over the Panthers on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

The start of Jones' day certainly wasn't a harbinger of what was to come, as he lost the ball at his own 32-yard line to short-circuit the Buccaneers' first drive after just two plays. Nevertheless, the third-year back would go on to atone for his mistake, with the highlight of his afternoon coming on a 98-yard touchdown run off left guard in the third quarter to extend Tampa Bay's lead to 26-17 at the time. Jones also consistently gained chunk yards as the game wore on, leading to a career-high rushing yardage tally and his fourth 100-yard effort of the campaign overall. Jones will look to stay hot in a tough matchup against the Rams' stingy defense in a Week 11 Monday night showdown.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Does damage in receiving game

Jones registered 46 rushing yards on 13 carries, adding five receptions for 49 yards during Sunday's 24-20 win against Jacksonville. He also fumbled once, but the ball rolled out of bounds.

Jones averaged an electrifying 5.7 yards per carry over his first four appearances of the 2020 campaign, but he's been contained to just 3.1 yards per attempt over his past three outings against the Buccaneers, 49ers and Jaguars. Tampa Bay and San Francisco entered Sunday's slate ranking first and 10th in rush defense, respectively, but Jacksonville sat at 27th in the NFL with 138.1 yards per game surrendered on the ground. Jones was unable to capitalize on a seemingly favorable Week 10 matchup, though he did salvage considerable value in producing his second-highest receiving output of the year. The fourth-year back has garnered a healthy workload of 18-plus offensive touches in six of his seven appearances this season, but he heads into a challenging Week 11 matchup against the Colts' No. 3 rush defense.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Eagles' Miles Sanders: Totals 95 yards in return

Sanders rushed the ball 15 times for 85 yards in Week 10 against the Giants. He added two receptions for 10 yards.

Sanders made his return to the field after missing the Eagles' previous two games. He wasn't limited in workload, racking up his third-highest carry total of the season. Though both Boston Scott and Corey Clement were able to find the end zone, Sanders was limited to converting a two-point conversion. Otherwise his performance was strong and highlighted by four rushes of more than 10 yards. Sanders will look to build on this performance in Week 11 at Cleveland.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Shines in return

Chubb (knee) rushed 19 times for 126 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 10-7 win over Houston. He failed to catch his lone target.

In his first action since Week 4, Chubb was involved from the get-go, rushing four times for 19 yards to help set up a field goal on the opening drive. Those were the only points scored by either team until Chubb extended Cleveland's lead to 10-0 with a nine-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Kareem Hunt was the preferred option with the Browns running out the clock on the final drive and finished with 132 scrimmage yards on 19 carries and three catches, but this game was further proof that it's possible for both of Cleveland's running backs to be productive simultaneously, even on a modest day for the offense as a whole. Last season's second-leading rusher has been fantastic when healthy, as Chubb has 461 yards and five touchdown on the ground in less than five full games played this season. He'll look to keep rolling against the Eagles in Week 11.

  • Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI

Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Expanded opportunity Week 10

Ahmed may have a chance to function as the lead back in Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Chargers with Jordan Howard (coach's decision), Matt Breida (hamstring) and Lynn Bowden (coach's decision) all inactive for the contest, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

The undrafted Washington product showed some explosiveness Week 9 while gaining 38 yards on just seven rushes, and he'll now have a chance to helm the Dolphins backfield against a Chargers defense allowing 118.2 rushing yards per contest. The game action Ahmed saw last week was his first as a pro, but it's worth noting he averaged 5.4 yards per carry on his way to 1,020 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns during his final college season in 2019. Ahmed will be joined in the Miami backfield by recent acquisition DeAndre Washington and athletic fullback Patrick Laird, neither of whom may present a legitimate threat to carries.

  • Steelers' Anthony McFarland: Not suiting up Sunday

McFarland (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Dale Lolley of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The rookie fourth-round pick missed the final two practices of the week before receiving the questionable tag, and he won't be available for Sunday's contest. McFarland has five touches for 13 yards this season, and James Conner should continue to handle the bulk of the backfield work for Pittsburgh.

  • Saints' Dwayne Washington: Inactive Week 10

Washington (back) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the 49ers.

The reserve running back has only five carries on the year, so his third absence of the season should only have an impact on New Orleans' special-teams units. Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray will continue to handle the backfield workload for the Saints.

  • Matt Breida RB | SF

Dolphins' Matt Breida: Inactive in Week 10

Breida (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Chargers.

Breida was reported to be unlikely to play early Sunday, and despite a week of limited practice participation, that prognosis has come to fruition. The speedy fourth-year pro's second straight absence leaves the Dolphins with a backfield committee consisting of Salvon Ahmed, DeAndre Washington and Patrick Laird, as both Jordan Howard and Lynn Bowden are healthy scratches.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Cardinals' Kenyan Drake: Returns to action Sunday

Drake (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Benefitting from the Cardinals' Week 8 bye, Drake will miss just one contest as a result of the slight ligament tear in his ankle that he suffered Week 7 versus the Seahawks. Whether or not he can handle his typical workload remains to be seen. Through the first seven outings of the season, Drake averaged 18 touches per game while backup Chase Edmonds received 7.9 per game. There's a chance the split between Drake and Edmonds is more even if the former's health still is somewhat compromised.
