  • De'Von Achane RB | MIA

Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Accrues 91 total yards in loss

Achane rushed 12 times for 62 yards and brought in seven of nine targets for 29 yards in the Dolphins' 31-21 loss to the Bills on Thursday night.

After being held to 2.7 yards per carry by the Patriots in Week 2, Achane bounced back with an efficient effort on the ground that included two double-digit-yardage runs. He also followed up an 8-92-1 receiving line against New England with another busy night as a receiver, albeit in much more of a short-area role. Achane also saw rookie backfield mate Ollie Gordon convert a red-zone carry into a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and log just three fewer carries, so the division of labor between the two will be worth monitoring in a Week 4 home matchup against the Jets on Monday night, Sept. 29.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Eclipses 100 total yards in win

Cook rushed 19 times for 108 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 10 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.

Cook served as the ideal complement to the exploits of Josh Allen through the air (228 yards, three touchdowns). The star running back had a game-long run of 26 yards, so he was able to consistently find running room throughout the night. The 2022 second-round pick also recorded his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a two-yard run to cap off the first drive of the second half, and he'll take a stellar figure of 5.4 yards per carry into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.

  • Will Shipley RB | PHI

Eagles' Will Shipley: Back at practice

Shipley (oblique) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.

Shipley was unable to practice Wednesday due to an oblique injury, so his return to action Thursday is a positive sign. The running back will look to log a full practice Friday before the team faces the Rams on Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Still not practicing

Charbonnet (foot) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Charbonnet has been held out of drills so far this week due to a foot injury, so Friday's practice likely will be key for his odds to suit up Sunday against the Saints. If Charbonnet is limited or sidelined this weekend, Kenneth Walker would take on the bulk of the work afforded the Seahawks backfield, while George Holani is the only other RB on the active roster, while Damien Martinez and Jacardia Wright would be candidates to be elevated from the practice squad.

  • Keilan Robinson: Placed on practice-squad IR

The Jets placed Robinson (undisclosed) on the practice-squad injured list Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

A fifth-round pick by the Jaguars last year, Robinson spent this past summer with the Eagles but failed to make the 53-man roster out of camp. He rushed 27 times for 57 scoreless yards during the preseason. Robinson will be unavailable for a promotion for at least the next four games of the regular season.

  • Sione Vaki RB | DET

    Lions' Sione Vaki: Practices fully

Vaki (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Vaki has missed both of Detroit's first two games, but his return to a full practice this week would seem to give Vaki a chance to play Monday night against the Ravens. As the Lions' RB4, it's unclear if he'll even be active behind Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery and Craig Reynolds.

  • Rasheen Ali RB | BAL

Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Limited on Thursday

Ali (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice.

Ali was concussed early in Sunday's win over the Browns and will need to clear the league's protocol if he's going to play Monday night against the Lions. Ali has played one offensive snap this season, rushing one time for five yards.

  • Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Remains limited Thursday

Tuten (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Tuten has posted back-to-back limited practices to open the week, putting his status for Week 3 against the Texans in question. If Tuten is unable to play versus Houston, LeQuint Allen and Cody Schrader would handle backup duties behind Travis Etienne.

  • Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Back to full practice

McNichols (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

McNichols' hamstring issue is evidently minor, as he's back at practice in a full capacity. With Austin Ekeler (Achilles) set to miss the remainder of the season, McNichols appears to be the next man up as the Commanders' third-down and long-down-and-distance running back after handling 16 offensive snaps following Ekeler's injury last Thursday. McNichols is unlikely to be fantasy relevant.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Another limited practice

Jacobs (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Jacobs has operated with a cap on his reps so far during Week 3 prep, giving him just one more opportunity to handle every practice rep Friday before the Packers potentially tag him with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest in Cleveland. With TE Tucker Kraft injuring his left knee at Thursday's session, Jacobs may see an increased role in Green Bay's passing game after recording just one target through two weeks of the season.
