Guerendo took nine carries for 34 yards while bringing in all four targets for 65 yards in Monday's 40-34 loss to the Lions.

Guerendo made a successful return from a one-game layoff due to foot and hamstring injuries Week 17. The fourth-round rookie looked no worse for wear, generating 99 yards from scrimmage in a pass-heavy game plan. The only negative aspect of Guerendo's fantasy line was a lack of trips to the end zone after quarterbacks Brock Purdy (elbow) and Joshua Dobbs vultured a pair of short touchdown rushes. Guerendo may find himself more involved as a rusher if San Francisco's injured starting QB is unable to suit up against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Gibbs rushed 18 times for 117 yards and a touchdown and brought in all four targets for 46 yards in the Lions' 40-34 win over the 49ers on Monday night.

Gibbs once again functioned as the clear lead back and handled the role with plenty of success, exceeding 100 yards on the ground and recording a rushing TD for the second time in as many games with David Montgomery (knee) sidelined. Gibbs' 30-yard scamper up the right sideline with just under three minutes remaining closed out the scoring on the night for Detroit and served as his 16th total touchdown on the campaign. Gibbs should be in line for another critical role as the Lions face off with the Vikings on Sunday night in Week 18 to determine the NFC North winner and NFC's No. 1 seed.

Chestnut rushed the ball three times for 17 yards in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jaguars. He did not record a catch on one target.

Chestnut was primarily involved on special teams but saw his involvement tick up after Tyjae Spears (concussion) was sidelined in the fourth quarter. Tony Pollard's (ankle/illness) status still is in question, which could set up Chestnut for a Week 18 start against Houston.

Davis-Price reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Davis-Price was called up to the Eagles' active roster to serve as the third-string running back behind Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell due to Will Shipley (concussion) being ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Davis-Price ended up playing five snaps and turned three carries into seven yards, all of which came during the Eagles' second-to-last offensive drive when most of the starters were pulled. With the Eagles locked into the NFC's No. 2 seed, Davis-Price could be elevated to the active roster for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Giants on Sunday.

Edwards-Helaire reverted to the Saints' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

With Alvin Kamara (groin) sidelined for a second straight game Sunday against the Raiders, Kendre Miller got the start, but Edwards-Helaire received the first touch among Saints running backs. Miller's exit in the second quarter due to a concussion allowed Edwards-Helaire to earn the most snaps (26) and touches (seven for 30 yards from scrimmage) in the position group, while Jamaal Williams played 25 snaps and handled three touches for 24 total yards. It's unknown if Kamara or Miller will gain clearance to suit up in Week 18 at Tampa Bay, so Edwards-Helaire and Williams may split the backfield reps.

Gainwell finished with three carries for four yards and one catch for five yards in Sunday's 41-7 blowout win over the Cowboys.

While Gainwell has strictly been a backup running back this season, the Eagles' six wins by 14 or more points this season have offered him the opportunity to rack up a meaningful amount of yardage in garbage time. That wasn't the case in Week 17, as starter Saquon Barkley carried the ball 31 times while Gainwell saw the same amount of carries as Tyrion Davis-Price, who was elevated from the practice squad to see his first game action of the year. Gainwell could see more action in Week 18 if the Eagles rest their starters with the No. 2 seed locked up.

Tucker rushed eight times for 39 yards and secured his sole target for five yards in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

The backup running back hadn't logged any snaps from scrimmage in Week 16 against the Cowboys, but Tucker saw some nice run with the Buccaneers comfortably ahead in the second half Sunday. The second-year back's carry total tied for the second highest of his career, and Tucker could be in line for more opportunities on offense versus a Saints team he compiled a career-high 136 rushing yards against back in Week 5 during a Week 18 home rematch the Bucs could well dominate.

Carter reverted to the Cardinals' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.

He was the beneficiary of No. 1 RB James Conner lasting just 12 offensive snaps in Week 17 before seemingly aggravating a knee injury. Carter stepped in for Conner and parlayed 57 (of 79) snaps into 15 touches for 81 yards from scrimmage, including 70 yards on the ground (a 5.4 average). Meanwhile, fellow reserve back DeeJay Dallas (11 snaps) had just one catch and no carries for a second straight contest. With the status of both Conner and rookie third-rounder Trey Benson (ankle) up in the air for a Week 18 matchup with the 49ers, Carter could be Arizona's lead runner in the regular-season finale.

Abanikanda (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Lions, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.

Abanikanda will observe Monday night's game in street clothes due to the return of rookie Isaac Guerendo, who will presumably lead the 49ers' backfield while Patrick Taylor serves as the backup. Abanikanda's next and last chance to play this season will be against the Cardinals on Sunday.

Hill, who sat out Wednesday's 31-2 win over the Texans with a concussion, missed Monday's practice due to an illness, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

While Hill was sidelined Monday, Hensley relayed that the running back is expected to play Saturday against the Browns, per head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh's comments imply that Hill has either cleared the NFL's concussion protocol or is on track to do so later in the week.
