  • Raiders' Alexander Mattison: Set to lead backfield

Mattison is in line to lead the Raiders backfield Sunday against the Steelers with Zamir White (groin) inactive.

With White on the pine Week 5 at Denver, Mattison started and earned a 57 percent snap share en route to 15 carries for 38 yards and two catches (on three targets) for 23 yards. Meanwhile, Ameer Abdullah handled 44 percent of plays, with most of his 51 yards from scrimmage coming on a 40-yard carry, though he did have a three-yard touchdown run. A similar breakdown of reps between Mattison and Abdullah likely will come to pass Sunday.

  • Tyjae Spears RB | TEN

Titans' Tyjae Spears: Injures hamstring Sunday

Spears departed Sunday's game against the Colts due to a hamstring injury, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to his exit in the third quarter, Spears posted six carries for 27 yards and wasn't targeted. Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut are the Titans' healthy running backs for the time being.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Won't return Week 6

Ford (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Ford was injured in the first quarter and was ruled out just before halftime. Prior to his exit, the running back rushed twice for 14 yards and didn't receiving any passing targets. It's uncertain if the hamstring issue will affect Ford's availability to face the Bengals next Sunday, and even if he does suit up, he could have a lessened workload, with Nick Chubb (knee) expected to be active for the first time since Week 2 of last season.

  • Zamir White RB | LV

Raiders' Zamir White: Inactive again in Week 6

White (groin) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the Steelers.

This marks White's second absence in a row due to a groin injury, but on a positive note he was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday for the first time since the issue appeared at the beginning of Week 5 prep. In White's stead, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullah will handle backfield reps for the Raiders in roughly a 60/40 breakdown.

  • Broncos' Audric Estime: Officially active Sunday

Estime (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 6 matchup against the Chargers.

The rookie will therefore be available to aid Denver's ground attack for the first time since hurting his ankle in his Week 1 NFL debut. Estime was just activated from injured reserve Saturday, and in Sunday's divisional clash, he figures to slot in as the No. 3 running back behind Javonte Williams and Jaleel McLaughlin.

  • Jaguars' D'Ernest Johnson: Team-high yardage total in loss

Johnson rushed six times for 28 yards and brought in both targets for 16 yards in the Jaguars' 35-16 loss to the Bears on Sunday in London.

With Travis Etienne exiting the game in the third quarter with a hamstring injury, Johnson and Tank Bigsby helmed the ground game for the bulk of the second half. Johnson finished with a team-high rushing yardage total despite logging one fewer carry than Bigsby, and the former was also the only one of the two to be targeted in the passing game. The Jaguars are back in action next Sunday in London against the Patriots, and given the uncertain nature of soft-tissue injuries, it's possible Johnson and Bigsby could be sharing backfield duties once more Week 7.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Jaguars' Tank Bigsby: Modest numbers in London loss

Bigsby rushed seven times for 24 yards in the Jaguars' 35-16 loss to the Bears on Sunday in London. He also returned three kickoffs for 102 yards and committed a fumble recovered by Jacksonville.

Bigsby had an opportunity for an expanded role when Travis Etienne exited the game in the third quarter with a hamstring injury, but game script turned completely against the run as the second half unfolded. The second-year back's pedestrian numbers were highly disappointing in the context of his previous two games, when he'd appeared on the verge of usurping his teammate for the lead-back role by recording 191 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries, as well as a 28-yard reception. However, with Etienne potentially sitting out next Sunday's matchup against the Patriots in London, Bigsby could be poised to enjoy conditions much more conducive for fantasy-friendly production.

  • Jerome Ford RB | WAS

Browns' Jerome Ford: Hurts hamstring Sunday

Ford was forced out of Sunday's game against the Eagles with a hamstring injury.

Before sustaining the injury, Ford carried twice for 14 yards. In his absence, D'Onta Foreman and Pierre Strong are next up for the Browns' Week 6 carries, while Nick Chubb (knee/PUP list) is still unavailable but trending toward returning to the team's backfield mix next week.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Another productive effort in win

Swift rushed 17 times for 91 yards and a touchdown and brought in all four targets for 28 yards in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday in London. He also committed a fumble recovered by Chicago.

Swift continued to put the poor start to his Bears tenure firmly behind him Sunday with his second-highest rushing yardage total of the season. He also recorded a rushing touchdown for the third straight game when he went into the end zone from one yard out early in the fourth quarter. The veteran back extended his streak of games with multiple catches to five as well, sending him into a Week 7 bye with plenty of momentum. Swift will next take aim at a suspect Commanders defense on the road in a Week 8 matchup in Sunday, Oct. 27.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Inefficient as runner in victory

Johnson rushed five times for eight yards and caught two passes for 25 yards in the Bears' 35-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Johnson has handled between seven and 10 touches in each of the last three games. The running back has not rushed for four yards per carry in any game this season. Johnson will remain a TD-dependent fantasy option unless his role increases.
