  • Kevin Harris RB | JAC

Patriots' Kevin Harris: Scores first TD of 2023

Harris carried the ball four times for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 loss to Kansas City.

Seeing his first touches of the season while Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) remained sidelined, Harris plowed up the middle and broke free for a 16-yard TD in the fourth quarter for the final points of the game. His 25 rushing yards also tied Ezekiel Elliott for the team lead, as the Patriots' running game couldn't get much going until it was too late. Stevenson could return in Week 16, but if he misses a third straight game, Harris' performance Sunday might earn him a bigger role against a vulnerable Broncos run defense.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Modest numbers against KC

Elliott carried the ball 11 times for 25 yards and caught five of six targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to Kansas City.

With Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) sidelined for a second straight game, Elliott got another start but fell well short of last week's 140 scrimmage yards, and he watched Kevin Harris score his first TD of the season in the fourth quarter as the Patriots tried to mount a late comeback. Stevenson's return timeline remains unclear, but if he remains out in Week 16, Elliott should be much more productive against a Broncos defense that just got torn up for 185 rushing yards and a TD by the Lions' duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Negative yardage in loss

Foreman lost six yards on six carries in the Bears' 20-17 loss to the Browns on Sunday.

Foreman started the contest as the lead back, but after being ineffective, Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson handled most of the remaining snaps. Going forward, this will likely be a difficult backfield to handicap in terms of predicting usage. The uncertainty makes Foreman a very risky fantasy play over the remaining weeks of the season.

  • Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Produces two TDs against Pats

McKinnon carried the ball four times for 11 yards, caught all three of his targets for 19 yards and a touchdown and completed his only pass attempt for a four-yard TD in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Patriots.

The veteran RB once again took a backseat to Clyde Edwards-Helaire in terms of touch volume with Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) inactive, but McKinnon was plenty productive. He took a direct snap and flipped the ball to Rashee Rice for a score late in the fourth quarter before catching an eight-yard touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes right before halftime. McKinnon has produced three TDs -- one rushing, one receiving and one passing -- in the two games Pacheco has missed, and he could continue to factor into Kansas City's red-zone plans in Week 16 against the Raiders.

  • Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Big day through air in Week 15

Edwards-Helaire carried the ball 13 times for 37 yards and caught all four of his targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Patriots.

The running back took full advantage of another absence for Isiah Pacheco (shoulder), topping 100 scrimmage yards for the first time since Week 2 of last season and catching his first TD pass since Week 4 of 2022. Edwards-Helaire may have done enough the last couple weeks to retain a role in the Kansas City backfield once Pacheco is healthy again, but he'll likely need to keep hold of the starting job to be a true fantasy asset in Week 16 against the Raiders.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

    Browns' Nick Chubb: Ditches crutches

Chubb (knee) was spotted walking around prior to Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bears without crutches or a brace on his surgically repaired left knee, The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Chubb's ability to move about with crutches is a small sign of progress just over a month removed from his Nov. 14 follow-up surgery to address a torn ACL. He previously underwent surgery Sept. 18 to repair the meniscus and MCL in the same knee, but he required the secondary procedure on his ACL two months later on the advice of doctors. The Browns aren't putting a precise timeline for Chubb to resume full on-field activities, though at the time of his Nov. 14 procedure, the team announced that it expects that the running back will be able to return to play during the 2024 season.

  • Tony Pollard RB | TEN

Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Slowed by Bills

Pollard rushed the ball 11 times for 52 yards in Sunday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. He added two receptions on three targets for five yards.

Pollard had his rushing volume limited by game script, as the Cowboys were down 21-3 by halftime. More concerning was his lack of opportunity as a pass catcher, as he failed to reach at least 15 receiving yards for the first time in four contests. Overall, Pollard managed his lowest yardage total since Week 10, though his effort came in the context of the entire Dallas offense severely underperforming expectations.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Racks up 157 total yards

Williams rushed the ball 27 times for 152 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 28-20 win over the Commanders. He added five receptions on seven targets for three yards and also lost two fumbles.

Williams jeopardized his day with two lost fumbles in the span of three offensive possessions in the second quarter, but he still earned at least 20 carries for the third consecutive game. He's also topped 100 rushing yards in three of his last four contests, and five gains of double-digit yards helped him reach that mark Sunday. On top of his strong yardage total, Williams tallied his fourth score in as many games with a one-yard run just before the end of the first half. He'll lead the Rams' backfield once again in a Week 16 matchup against the Saints.

  • 49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Goes off for three scores Sunday

McCaffrey rushed 18 times for 115 yards and a touchdown while hauling in all five of his targets for 72 yards and two additional scores in Sunday's 45-29 win over the Cardinals.

McCaffrey ran wild on Arizona's porous run defense as expected Sunday, churning out his sixth game with 100 or more rushing yards in 2023. The dual-threat superstar also notched his first multi-score game as a receiver this season. The end result was a mammoth point total for managers in the thick of the fantasy playoffs. McCaffrey's three combined scores against the Cardinals brings him up to an even 20 on the year, which also set a new career high. CMC can surpass another personal high-water mark if he can generate at least 96 rushing yards against the Ravens next Monday.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Racks up 221 yards, two TDs

Cook rushed 25 times for 179 yards and a touchdown while catching two of three targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Cowboys.

Cook reached triple digits in scrimmage yards for the fifth consecutive game, and he hit that mark before halftime with 104 rushing yards and 42 receiving yards in the first half. That production included an 18-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. Cook had an opportunity to add another receiving touchdown in the third quarter but dropped a pass just outside the end zone. That was a rare mistake in an otherwise outstanding performance from the second-year running back, who blew past his previous career high of 123 rushing yards from Week 2 against the Raiders. Cook put an exclamation point on his career-best performance with a 24-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Buffalo has found success with a more run-heavy approach in recent weeks, so Cook is poised to maintain a prominent role in Week 16 against the reeling Chargers.
