  • Durham Smythe TE | BAL

Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Won't suit up Week 6

Smythe (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

Smythe has led all Miami tight ends with 169 snaps on offense this season, but the playing time hasn't translated to much volume in the passing game, as he's drawn just seven targets through five contests. His absence Week 6 is likely to hurt Miami more from a blocking standpoint, especially with starting left tackle Terron Armstead (toe) also inactive and with starting right tackle Austin Jackson (ankle) on injured reserve. The more pass-catching-oriented Mike Gesicki could pick up some extra snaps as a result of Smythe sitting out, but Gesicki will still be drawing targets from a third-string quarterback (Skylar Thompson) rather than No. 1 signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa (concussion/ankle), who is out for a second straight game.

  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

49ers' Tyler Kroft: Will not play Sunday

Kroft (knee) is out Sunday against the Falcons, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Kroft hasn't played since Week 2 with the injury. He'll work to return in Week 7 against the Chiefs.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Patriots' Jonnu Smith: Listed as active Sunday

Smith (ankle) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Smith, who was inactive for last weekend's win over the Lions, will give it a go Sunday and is thus slated to step back into a time share with fellow TE Hunter Henry. In that ongoing arrangement, Smith -- who has caught seven of his 11 targets for 58 yards in four games to date -- is a hit-or-miss fantasy option

  • Hayden Hurst TE | LAC

Bengals' Hayden Hurst: Good to go Week 6

Hurst (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Hurst took a questionable tag into the weekend after practicing on a limited basis Wednesday through Friday, but the Bengals never seemed to have much concern about his availability for Sunday's contest. With Tee Higgins (ankle) also getting the green light to play Sunday after being listed as questionable heading into the day, the Bengals will have all of their key pass-catching weapons available for quarterback Joe Burrow. Assuming Higgins isn't handling limited reps Sunday, Hurst could struggle to replicate the 6-53-1 receiving line he delivered on seven targets in last week's loss to the Ravens, a game in which Higgins played just 10 snaps before exiting with the injury.

  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Back in action Sunday

Pitts (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game versus the 49ers, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Pitts is back from a one-game absence due to a hamstring injury, and he'll be a welcome sight for quarterback Marcus Mariota against San Francisco's third-ranked pass defense (177.8 yards per game). Through four appearances in his second campaign, Pitts has one outing with 87 yards and three others with 25 or fewer yards. He also has no touchdowns on 22 targets.

  • Dalton Keene TE | HOU

Dalton Keene: Joins Denver's practice squad

Denver signed Keene to its practice squad Saturday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Keene started the season on the Eagles' practice squad after being a casualty of the Patriots' final roster cuts, but he was recently let go by Philadelphia and will get a new opportunity in Denver. The 2020 third-round pick caught three of five targets for 16 yards across six appearances during his rookie season, but he hasn't appeared in an NFL game since.

  • Sean McKeon TE | IND

Cowboys' Sean McKeon: Summoned from practice squad

The Cowboys elevated McKeon from the practice squad Saturday.

The addition of McKeon gives Dallas a fourth option at tight end behind Dalton Schultz, Jake Ferguson and Peyton Hendershot ahead of Sunday's game in Philadelphia. It's unclear if McKeon will be active for the contest.

  • Hayden Hurst TE | LAC

Bengals' Hayden Hurst: On track to play

Hurst (groin), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Hurst was able to practice in a limited fashion this week, so he appears set to give it a go Sunday. Still, fantasy managers will want to check his status approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, when the Bengals will release their inactive list. Assuming he's active and if Tee Higgins (ankle) is sidelined, Hurst could find himself with a larger role in the Cincinnati passing attack than normal.

  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Expected to play

Pitts (hamstring), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After sitting out last week's loss to the Buccaneers, Pitts returned to practice as a limited participant Wednesday through Friday to take the designation into the weekend. The tight end previously expressed optimism that he'll play, and while the expectation is that he will, confirmation one way or the other won't arrive until the Falcons release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Kenny Yeboah TE | ARI

Jets' Kenny Yeboah: Suiting up at Green Bay

The Jets elevated Yeboah from the practice squad to their active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Packers.

It will be the second game this season Yeboah is active for the Jets. After Week 6, he will only be eligible for one more elevation from the practice squad before he would have to be signed to the team's 53-man roster in order to play.
