Foster Moreau TE | HOU
Raiders' Foster Moreau: Three catches in overtime loss
Moreau caught three passes for 30 yards on four targets in Sunday's 29-23 overtime loss to the Cardinals.
Moreau, who logged 18 offensive snaps in the season opener, saw an uptick in playing time against Arizona on Sunday while the Raiders built an early lead. The team's No. 2 tight end took advantage with three receptions in the first half, though Darren Waller still managed to steal the spotlight as he racked up six catches for 50 yards and a score on eight targets. Moreau's fantasy relevance remains limited to the deepest of leagues as the Raiders head to Tennessee for their Week 3 matchup.

Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Targeted seven times in Week 2
Johnson caught four of seven targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Johnson has seen significant involvement through two games, reaching the 40-yard mark in both while accruing 12 total targets. The converted wide receiver has become Jameis Winston's preferred target at the tight end position, while Adam Trautman has been a non-factor in the passing game.

Kylen Granson TE | TEN
Colts' Kylen Granson: Just two receptions Sunday
Granson had two receptions for 14 yards on two targets in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.
While Granson didn't have a productive day and the offense struggled (scored no points), he again was the top tight end target in the passing game. He played the same number of snaps as Mo Alie-Cox (27) and went out on more routes (20 to 17), though Cox did have three targets.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Dodges major injury
Schultz (knee) is believed to have avoided a long-term injury, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Schultz was forced out of Sunday's win over the Bengals late due to a right knee injury, but the results of Monday's MRI reveal that he's avoided a worst-case scenario. The tight end's status for Week 3 versus the Giants in prime time will need to be monitored, but it looks like Schultz could have a chance of suiting up for Monday Night Football.

T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN
Lions' T.J. Hockenson: Meager production again
Hockenson caught three of seven targets for 26 yards during Sunday's 36-27 win over Washington.
Hockenson yet again saw a healthy amount of attention in the passing game, but he didn't do much with the chances he had outside of a fourth-quarter fingertip catch that went for 18 yards. Instead, Amon-Ra St. Brown remained the focal point of the Lions' passing game while D'Andre Swift, DJ Chark and Josh Reynolds saw a handful of looks. While Hockenson investors can at least take solace in the fact that the tight end ranks second on the team and top 10 among tight ends in targets in advance of Monday night's games, Hockenson will need to show heightened involvement near the red zone or as a downfield receiver in order to become a reliable fantasy option. Next up is a Week 3 road matchup with the Vikings.

Taysom Hill QB | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Only three touches in Week 2
Hill rushed three times for 14 yards and finished without a passing attempt or target in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
It was surprising that Hill wasn't leaned on more given the absence of running back Alvin Kamara (ribs) and Jameis Winston's struggles passing (1:3 TD:INT). While Hill''s eligibility at tight end in some formats makes him an intriguing fantasy option, it will be tough for him to produce consistently given his limited touches. Hill has seven carries, one catch on two targets and no passing attempts on the season heading into a Week 3 road game against the Panthers.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Jaguars' Evan Engram: More involved Sunday
Engram caught seven of eight targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 24-0 win against the Colts.
Engram once again worked as the Jaguars' primary tight end and led the team with eight targets, though the yardage was limited because most of his action came underneath. The 28-year-old has caught 11 of 12 targets for 74 yards through the first two weeks of the season.
-
Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Patriots' Jonnu Smith: Three targets in Week 2
Smith was on the field for 39 of a possible 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Steelers, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
After hauling in three of his four targets for 33 yards in Week 1, Smith was held without a catch (on three targets) Sunday. Fellow tight end Hunter Henry (34 snaps, one target) also went without a catch in the contest. Though both players no doubt will have weeks where they are more involved in the offense, a continuing timeshare with Henry makes Smith a hit-or-miss fantasy option ahead of the team's Week 3 contest against the Ravens.
-
Hunter Henry TE | NE
Patriots' Hunter Henry: No catches in Week 2
Henry, who logged 34 a possible 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Steelers, did not catch his lone target in the contest, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
For his part, fellow tight end Jonnu Smith was out there for 39 snaps Sunday, en route to recording three targets and zero catches. Looking ahead to Week 3, Henry -- who put up a 50-603-9 stat line in 2021-- profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option in advance of this coming Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Jeremy Ruckert TE | NYJ
Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: One target in debut
Ruckert didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 31-30 win over the Browns.
Ruckert made his NFL debut after sitting out the season opener, but the rookie third-round pick out of Ohio State wasn't heavily involved in the game plan. While Ruckert's a name to file away for the future, his short-term fantasy prospects are limited, even while C.J. Uzomah's recovering from a hamstring injury.
