Jacob Hollister TE | CAR
Raiders' Jacob Hollister: Latches on with Vegas
Hollister signed a one-year contract with the Raiders on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hollister is coming off a down year with the Jaguars, recording nine catches for 55 yards and a score in seven games. He'll benefit from veteran quarterback play in Derek Carr with his new squad, but he also will need to compete with Foster Moreau and Nick Bowers to get on the field, with Darren Waller in firm command of the top tight end spot.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Signs franchise tag
Schultz signed his franchise tag tender with the Cowboys on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
The Cowboys and Schultz' representatives can continue to work out a long-term deal through July 15, but if nothing pans out he'll play out the 2022 season on a $10.9 million salary. After emerging with a 63-615-4 line on 89 targets in 16 games in 2020, he broke out even further with 78 catches (on 104 targets) for 808 yards and eight TDs in 17 contests last season. Dallas has made some adjustments to its receiving corps this offseason, moving on from Amari Cooper (traded to Cleveland) and Cedrick Wilson (signed with Miami), so Schultz' current competition for targets in 2022 are CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup, who is recovering from a Week 17 ACL tear.

Gerald Everett TE | CHI
Chargers' Gerald Everett: Signing with Chargers
Everett is signing with the Chargers on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Everett spent the first four seasons of his career with the Rams but signed with Seattle ahead of the 2021 campaign. He appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks and hauled in 48 of 63 targets for 478 yards and four touchdowns while rushing three times for 20 yards. Everett should compete with Donald Parham for targets ahead of the 2022 campaign.

Robert Tonyan TE | PIT
Packers' Robert Tonyan: Returns to Green Bay
The Packers and Tonyan (knee) agreed to a one-year contract Saturday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Since Green Bay sent Davante Adams to the Raiders on Thursday, the team has used the open cap space to bring back two of its own from last season (Tonyan and cornerback Rasul Douglas) and an outsider (punter Pat O'Donnell, formerly of the Bears). Tonyan is in the midst of his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered Week 8, meaning his status will be one to watch as the offseason goes on. Considering the timeline for such recoveries, he could be ready for Week 1 of the upcoming campaign. If not, though, the Packers will continue to lean on Josiah Deguara, Marcedes Lewis, Tyler Davis and Dominique Dafney at tight end.

Tommy Sweeney TE | CHI
Bills' Tommy Sweeney: Path to targets gets murkier
Sweeney appears to be the No. 3 tight end on the depth chart following Buffalo's signing of O.J. Howard this week.
Dawson Knox will remain the starter, but Howard has a stronger skillset and more NFL experience than Sweeney, so the latter is now the No. 3 entering offseason work. After catching just 17 balls over his first two NFL seasons, the 2019 seventh-rounder may have some work to do just to make the team.

Austin Hooper TE | ATL
Titans' Austin Hooper: Joining Titans
Hooper is slated to sign a one-year, $6 million deal with the Titans, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Hooper is coming off a 2021 season in which he logged 38 catches (on 61 targets) for 345 yards and three TDs in 16 games for the Browns. The 27-year-old put those numbers up in the context of working in a time-share that involved David Njoku and Harrison Bryant, to a lesser degree. With the Titans, he'll have Geoff Swaim to contend with for targets, but we nonetheless expect Hooper -- a 2016 third-rounder -- to see an uptick in looks this coming season, and with that, a corresponding increase in fantasy utility.
-
Durham Smythe TE | BAL
Dolphins' Durham Smythe: Back with Miami on two-year deal
Smythe signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Dolphins on Friday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
Smythe appeared in all 17 games for the Dolphins in 2021 and caught 34 of 41 targets for 357 yards and zero touchdowns. He figures to once again operate as the second tight end behind Mike Gesicki in 2022.
-
Jody Fortson TE | KC
Chiefs' Jody Fortson: Tendered by Kansas City
Kansas City tendered Fortson (Achilles), an exclusive rights free agent, Friday, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star reports.
Fortson caught five passes for 47 yards and two touchdowns across six games during the 2021 campaign before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury during the Chiefs' Week 6 win over Washington. He's expected to be ready by the start of the 2022 season, so he'll have a chance to build off his solid start in 2021.

C.J. Uzomah TE | PHI
Jets' C.J. Uzomah: Joined by Conklin in NY
Uzomah will compete for playing time with fellow tight end Tyler Conklin, whom the Jets officially signed to a contract Friday.
Uzomah and Conklin both topped the tight end depth charts for their respective teams in 2021, with the former racking up 493 yards and five touchdowns with the Bengals and the latter totaling 593 yards and three touchdowns with the Vikings. There should be plenty of snaps to go around for both of the Jets' new tight ends in 2022, as offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur likes to run a lot of 12 personnel with two tight ends on the field simultaneously. LaFleur's shift away from such formations in the second half of last season can be attributed to New York's lack of healthy talent at tight end, which the team hopes to have addressed with the signings of Uzomah and Conklin.

Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Bengals' Hayden Hurst: Joins AFC champs
Hurst is signing a one-year contract with the Bengals, EnterSports Management reports.
Hurst will help replace C.J. Uzomah, who signed with the Jets earlier in the week. The Bengals also have Drew Sample, a 2019 second-round pick, while Hurst himself was a 2018 first-rounder. Neither has emerged as a consistent pass-catching threat in the NFL, but Hurst has shown some flashes, including a 30-349-2 receiving line on only 39 targets in 2019 with the Ravens, followed by a 56-571-6 line on 88 targets in 2020 for the Falcons. He then dropped to 26-221-3 in 13 games last year, working behind standout rookie Kyle Pitts in a subpar offense. If nothing else, Hurst should get more red-zone looks in Cincinnati, playing with Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Co.
