Coach Arthur Smith indicated Monday that Hurst (ankle) could return to practice this week, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Hurst has been on injured reserve for each of the last three games, but he's now back at the team facility. If the 28-year-old ultimately is able to resume practicing this week, he'll have a chance to play Sunday against Carolina.

Dissly caught both of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.

Dissly played 31 snaps (46 percent), marking his fourth straight game with less than a 53 percent snap share. Meanwhile, Gerald Everett has logged a 75 percent snap share or better in each of those games. Dissly is mostly being utilized as a run blocker in offensive coordinator Shane Waldron's offense, evidenced by his 17-182-1 line through 12 games.

Everett caught four of six targets for seven yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.

Everett wasn't efficient with his targets Sunday. Still, the fifth-year tight end has logged at least 75 percent of the offensive snaps in four straight games while Will Dissly hasn't handled more than 53 percent of the snaps in that stretch. It's clear who the No. 1 tight end is in Seattle. Nevertheless, Everett is averaging just 27.9 yards per game with two total touchdowns this year.

Carlson (knee) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

It's not yet clear whether Carlson has tested positive for the virus or whether he's considered a close contact. However, Monday's move doesn't impact the 24-year-old's status since he underwent season-ending knee surgery in mid-August.

Yeboah failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 33-18 loss to the Eagles.

Yeboah's still looking for his first NFL catch, but the undrafted rookie tight end could be thrust into a more prominent role moving forward. Tyler Kroft (chest) is on injured reserve and Ryan Griffin exited the loss to Philadelphia with an ankle injury, joining Trevon Wesco (ankle) on the sidelines. As a result of injuries at the position, it's conceivable that the Jets' depth at tight end in Week 14 against the Saints will consist of just Yeboah and journeyman special teams contributor Daniel Brown.

Blanton caught one of his two targets for six yards during Sunday's 37-7 win over Jacksonville. He played 10 offensive snaps.

This was the second reception of the season for the 26-year-old tight end. However, it came with Los Angeles up 30-7 and in complete control of the game. Blanton has primarily been utilized on special teams this season, and he's likely to continue playing sparingly on offense.

Gentry secured both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Ravens.

Gentry was on the field for 50 percent of Pittsburgh's offensive snaps Monday, but he failed to generate much fantasy production in the narrow win. Across the first 12 games of the season the 2019 fifth-rounder has hauled in nine of 13 targets for 80 yards. While Gentry should continue to see an increased role while Eric Ebron (hamstring) is sidelined, rookie Pat Freiermuth has established himself as the team's clear top tight end.

Freiermuth secured three of four targets for 26 yards and caught a two-point conversion in Sunday's 20-19 win over the Ravens.

Freiermuth sustained a concussion in last week's loss to Cincinnati, but he was a full participant in each of the Steelers' three practice sessions this week and didn't appear to be on a snap count against the Ravens, as the rookie was on the field for 73 percent of the team's offensive snaps. Freiermuth has been targeted at least four times in each of the last seven games, and he's brought in 32 of 44 targets for 253 yards and five touchdowns during that time.

Bates caught three of four targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 17-15 win over the Raiders, while teammate Logan Thomas (knee) suffered a likely season-ending injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

It's been a rough year health-wise for Washington tight ends -- Thomas previously missing six games due to a hamstring injury, while backup Ricky Seals-Jones has now missed three in a row with a hip issue. Seals-Jones filled an every-down role the first time Thomas was out, until his hip injury put Bates on the spot in a similar role Week 11 at Carolina. The rookie caught each of his three targets for 23 yards in that game, playing 99 percent of snaps before handing the job back to Thomas the next week. It's now possible Bates takes on a full-time role again if Seals-Jones isn't ready for Week 14 against Dallas, though the rookie is less of a pass-catching threat than his position mates in the Washington TE room.

Jordan caught two of four targets for seven yards in Sunday's 31-0 loss to Indianapolis.

The Texans made veteran Jordan Akins inactive for a third consecutive week, so Jordan was the primary receiving tight end. While his overall numbers over five games don't jump off the page, he's scored two touchdowns and leads Houston tight ends in red-zone targets since becoming a regular on the active roster.
