Ertz is inactive for Sunday's game in Cleveland, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Ertz wasn't eligible to be active anyway following his trade from Philadelphia to Arizona on Friday due to playing Thursday against the Buccaneers. He'll look forward to making his Cardinals debut next Sunday versus the Texans, though it remains to be seen how much he'll be utilized in his initial outings with the team. In the meantime, the Cards' Week 6 tight ends will be Darrell Daniels, Demetrius Harris and Ross Travis.

Mundt (knee) is questionable to return Sunday at the Giants, according to Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.

It remains to be seen if Mundt returns to the game, though his absence might not have a big effect on the Rams' game plan for this one. Expect Tyler Higbee to see most of the offensive snaps at tight end, while Jacob Harris could take Mundt's place as a blocker.

Gesicki recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 115 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Jaguars.

Gesicki was heavily involved throughout the game and contributed three receptions of 20 yards or more. He benefited from the Dolphins taking to the air 47 times, with only Jaylen Waddle commanding more targets for the team. That volume may be difficult for Gesicki to carry forward once DeVante Parker (shoulder) is able to return to the field, though he has topped 50 receiving yards in three of his last four games.

Hockenson (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

For the second straight contest, Hockenson is coming off a week in which his practice reps were capped by a knee issue. Still, he logged 81 percent of the offensive snaps last Sunday at Minnesota, which is in the realm of his usual workload (81-93 percent on any given game this season). Hockenson has been relatively quiet since reaching the end zone in Weeks 1 and 2, and he may have a tough time producing Sunday versus a Cincy defense that has allowed just 30.6 receiving yards per game to tight ends this season.

Hockenson (knee), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

While playing through the knee issue in the Lions' Week 5 loss to Minnesota, Hockenson was on the field for 81 percent of the offensive snaps and finished with two receptions for 22 yards on three targets. Though he doesn't look to be completely over the injury, expect a better performance Week 6 now that he's further removed from the knee issue.

Jackson (back) will get some playing time when he returns from injury now that Zach Ertz has been dealt to the Cardinals, Dave Spadaro of the Eagles' official site reports.

Jackson is still working his way back from an injury suffered in training camp, but the Eagles liked what they saw in the preseason from the converted quarterback and most likely would have found roster space for him had he not been placed on IR. Now, he has a spot for sure when he returns, and GM Howie Roseman has said the team wants to see the Buffalo product get a chance to show he can produce in real games.

Goedert is the unquestioned no. 1 tight end for the Eagles now that Zach Ertz has been traded to Arizona, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

It's much later than expected, but it finally happened. The 2018 second-round pick finally gets the chance to be the Eagles' guy at tight end six weeks into his walk year. As a result, both Goedert and Ertz should each see a huge surge in value atop their respective teams' depth charts and without having to contend with the other for targets and snaps.

Togiai reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Friday.

Togiai joined the Eagles' active roster for Thursday's loss to the Buccaneers, but he didn't play. He could return to the active roster to provide depth at some point after Zach Ertz was traded to the Cardinals on Friday.

Daniels (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game at Cleveland, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

After a near week-long stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Daniels cleared league protocols and was brought back to the active roster Tuesday. No matter, the Cardinals capped his reps in the first two practices of Week 6 prep before allowing him to handle all of them Friday. Daniels thus will be available for the first time since Week 4, only this time he'll be the team's top tight end in the wake of Maxx Williams' likely season-ending knee injury. Arizona did swing a deal for Zach Ertz on Friday, but because he played Thursday against the Buccaneers, he isn't eligible to play until Week 7 against the Texans. Until then, Daniels, Demetrius Harris and practice squad member Ross Travis will handle TE duties for the Cards.

Njoku (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Arizona.

Njoku was unable to practice Wednesday but returned in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday, which was enough to clear him. The 25-year-old tight end will look to build on last week's excellent performance (149 yards and a touchdown) at home against the league's last remaining undefeated team.
