Hill rushed twice for 16 yards during Sunday's 26-7 loss to Carolina.

Jameis Winston and the Saints offense came crashing back to Earth after an explosive Week 1 blowout of Green Bay. However, Hill seemed to provide a small spark when given a couple of chances. It will be interesting to see if he becomes more involved going forward should Winston's struggles persist.

Johnson caught one of three targets for 23 yards during Sunday's 26-7 loss to Carolina.

After seeing 19 percent of the offensive snaps Week 1, Johnson jumped to 41 percent Sunday while Adam Trautman fell from 82 to 52. While it's possible that game script played a large role in those disparities considering the Saints attempted nearly half as many rushing attempts compared to the season opener, Johnson saw three looks in both games, and it looks like he could have some sort of role in the passing game regardless of the situation. Next up is a Week 3 trip to New England.

Trautman was not targeted during Sunday's 26-7 loss to Carolina.

On a day when Jameis Winston had trouble moving the ball, Trautman was not used as a safety valve over the middle of the field. Instead, Alvin Kamara and Marquez Callaway saw almost half of Winston's 21 pass attempts while Juwan Johnson was the only Saints tight end to have a pass sent his way. While Trautman at least paced his position group with 52 percent of the offensive snaps, Johnson was close behind at 41 percent and ultimately saw a target every six snaps. Unless Trautman eventually becomes a larger part of the passing game, he'll be hard to trust in any fantasy format.

Dissly didn't receive a target in Sunday's 33-30 loss to the Titans.

Dissly finished with 26 offensive snaps while Gerald Everett logged 43 snaps. Everett was targeted just twice, as the tight ends had a slow day in Seattle's offense. Both players have tough matchups ahead, as they'll have to deal with the Vikings' Eric Kendricks and the 49ers' Fred Warner in pass coverage over the next pair of contests.

Everett caught one of two targets for three yards in Sunday's 33-30 loss to the Titans.

Everett logged 43 offensive snaps (80 percent) while fellow tight end Will Dissly finished with 26 snaps (48 percent). Dissly didn't receive a target, as Week 2 was the latest example of how difficult it is to trust a Seattle pass-catcher besides Tyler Lockett or DK Metcalf.

Brown failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Browns.

Brown dealt with multiple injuries (ankle/shoulder) leading up to Week 2, which is likely the reason he was not as involved in the offense as he was in Week 1. The tight end group also lost Antony Auclair (eye) on Sunday, leaving the Texans with depth questions heading into Thursday's game against Carolina. Pending the status of Brown and Auclair, Jordan Akins could be the primary receiving option at the position and rookie Brevin Jordan could be active for the first time.

Akins caught one of two targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 31-21 loss to Cleveland.

Akins' catch was his first of the season. He and Pharaoh Brown each played 38 snaps, but neither played a significant role in the passing game. Brown had been banged up entering the game and Houston also lost tight end Antony Auclair to an eye injury. Pending the health of those two heading into Thursday's game against Carolina, Akins could be in line for increased snaps and targets.

Thomas caught one of two targets for seven yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.

Thomas made a minimal impact in the passing game, but it's worth noting he once again played more snaps than starting tight end Dan Arnold. In fact, with 52 offensive plays compared to Arnold's 22, Thomas was on the field far more than Arnold, but the latter's three catches for 55 yards Sunday evidenced his greater upside than Thomas, who sports just 24 yards through two games so far and has primarily been used as a blocker.

Njoku caught two of three targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Texans.

Njoku was Cleveland's receiving-yardage leader Week 1, but he finished behind several others Sunday, including tight end mates Austin Hooper and, more notably, Harrison Bryant. It's not that the Browns shied away from Njoku -- his three targets were third on the team -- but the offense simply didn't flow his way. He played more snaps (36) than Bryant (31) and remains an active target, which could be beneficial in the coming weeks. The position group as a whole became more important to the offense after Jarvis Landry sustained a knee injury that is expected to sideline him multiple weeks. If Odell Beckham (knee) remains out as well Week 3 against Chicago, Njoku, Bryant and Hooper could have as heavy involvement in the game plan as they did against the Texans.

Bryant caught all four of his targets for 49 yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Texans.

Bryant was a forgotten man Week 1, slipping behind David Njoku in terms of snaps and targets, but the second-year tight end was more involved in the win over Houston. His first catch was a 29-yard grab that put the Browns in business at Houston's six-yard line, setting up their first score. In terms of snaps, Bryant (31) was on the field fewer times than Njoku (36), but he had the greater impact. The position group as a whole was busy, leading the team with 12 targets, as wide receiver Jarvis Landry lasted only two plays before injuring his MCL. Landry joined the inactive Odell Beckham (knee) on the sidelines, leaving Cleveland without its top two receivers. Landry is expected to miss multiple games, and if Beckham's unable to play next Sunday against the Bears, Bryant and the tight ends may be relied on heavily once again.
