  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Another limited practice

Waller (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

We haven't heard anything to suggest that the Raiders' pass-catching leader is in any danger of missing Sunday's game against the Chiefs, with Friday's final injury report destined to reveal if Waller heads into the weekend listed as questionable, or minus a Week 5 injury designation.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Texans' Jordan Akins: Listed as limited participant

Akins (concussion/ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Akins is clearly making progress through the league's five-step concussion protocol, but he'll need to garner full medical clearance before being allowed to retake the field. It's worth noting that the third-year tight end is dealing with an ankle injury, in addition to the concussion that forced him out of Houston's Week 4 loss to Minnesota.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Pops up on injury report

Andrews has been added to the Ravens' Week 5 injury report as a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Andrews was completely absent from Wednesday's injury report, a hint that his thigh issue may have been sustained during practice. How much the star tight end is able to do in Friday's session should go a long way in determining whether his status for Sunday's upcoming contest against the Bengals is in any jeopardy.

  • MyCole Pruitt TE | PIT

Titans' MyCole Pruitt: Added to COVID-19 list

Pruitt has been placed on the Titans' reserve/COVID-19 list.

Pruitt joins the growing number of Tennessee players on the list ,and at this time, it's unclear if the team's scheduled game against the Bills on Sunday will proceed as planned. The Titans/Steelers slated Week 4 contest was postponed and subsequently rescheduled for Oct. 25th.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Texans' Jordan Akins: Back at practice

Akins (ankle/concussion) practiced Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

It remains to be seen if he was limited or practiced fully, but Akins' return to the field in any capacity Thursday is a good sign after the tight end sat out Wednesday's practice.

  • Adam Trautman TE | DEN

Saints' Adam Trautman: No targets Week 4

Trautman wasn't targeted in Sunday's 35-29 win over the Lions.

The rookie third-rounder looked poised for more looks with Jared Cook (groin) out of the lineup, but Josh Hill ended up logging more snaps and finished with one catch for seven yards. Rookie tight ends are often tough to depend on, and even if Cook sits out Week 5 against the Chargers, Michael Thomas (ankle) could return and likely will command his usual target share.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Cowboys' Dalton Schultz: Clear of thigh issue

Schultz (thigh) isn't listed on the Cowboys' injury report Wednesday.

Near the conclusion of this past Sunday's loss to the Browns, Schultz took a helmet to his thigh, but the issue hasn't affected his ability to take part in practice three days later. With Blake Jarwin (knee) on injured reserve, Schultz remains locked in as Dallas' No. 1 tight end for the rest of the season. So far this season, Schultz has managed 18 receptions (on 28 targets) for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Seahawks' Will Dissly: Puts in limited practice

Dissly (Achilles) was limited at Wednesday's practice, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Dissly has been a regular on Seahawks injury reports this season with an Achilles issue, likely a residual effect of his season-ending injury from October 2019. His production has been next to none this season, as he's managed no more than two catches or 15 yards in any given game. Expect Dissly to continue working behind Greg Olsen on game days.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Raiders' Darren Waller: Listed as limited at practice

Waller (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Waller played 70 of the Raiders' 74 offensive snaps in Sunday's 30-23 loss to the Bills, hauling in nine of his 12 targets for 88 yards. The tight end isn't believed to have suffered any setbacks coming out of that contest, so his limitations Wednesday were likely maintenance-related.

  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Texans' Jordan Akins: Not practicing to start week

Akins (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Akins was concussed on a helmet-to-helmet hit from safety Harrison Smith in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, which also led to an ejection for Smith. The third-year tight end, who is also dealing with an ankle injury, was coming into his own as Houston's top pass-catcher at his position, but Akins is still dealing with the aftereffects of Smith's hit and seems unlikely to suit up this weekend against the Jaguars. Akins will need to clear the concussion protocol before he can return to the field.
