  • Robert Tonyan TE | PIT

Packers' Robert Tonyan: Watching from sidelines again

Tonyan (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Tonyan will miss a fifth straight contest after being deemed doubtful on Friday's injury report. This will leave rookie Jace Sternberger, who made his NFL debut last week, as the No. 3 tight end behind top dogs Jimmy Graham and Marcedes Lewis.

  • Drew Sample TE | CIN

Bengals' Drew Sample: Injures ankle Sunday

Sample was forced out of Sunday's game against the Ravens with an ankle injury, Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports.

Sample hauled in a three-yard pass before exiting the contest. If he's unable to return, Cethan Carter could see an increase in duties behind Tyler Eifert and C.J. Uzomah.

  • Blake Bell TE | KC

Chiefs' Blake Bell: Shakes off injury

Bell (ankle) returned to Sunday's game against the Titans after leaving in the first quarter, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Bell was initially ruled questionable to return, and he only missed a couple of drives before getting back in. The fifth-year pro will return to a blocking role on the Chiefs' offensive front.

  • Blake Bell TE | KC

Chiefs' Blake Bell: Exits with ankle issue

Bell was forced out of Sunday's game against the Titans with an ankle injury.

Bell left the game in the first quarter after playing just a handful of snaps. He isn't worth keeping an eye on for fantasy purposes since he only has three receptions for 10 yards this year. Deon Yelder should see an uptick in usage behind Travis Kelce.

  • Dan Arnold TE | PHI

Saints' Dan Arnold: Healthy scratch Sunday

Arnold (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Arnold was promoted from the practice squad Oct. 19. He played in two games while Jared Cook (ankle) was sidelined, catching two of four targets for 25 yards. Cook is healthy now, so Arnold will serve as a healthy scratch.

  • Browns' Ricky Seals-Jones: Not suiting up Week 10

Seals-Jones (knee) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt against the Bills, Andrew Gribble of the team's official site reports.

Seals-Jones was seen testing his knee in pregame warmups with various zig-zagging and shuffling movements under the eye of the training staff, according to Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram. However, a consensus on Seals-Jones' lack of readiness must have been reached, as he'll miss Sunday's contest. In his stead, Demetrius Harris and Pharaoh Brown will handle tight end duties for Cleveland.

  • Ross Dwelley TE | CAR

49ers' Ross Dwelley: Starting role on tap

Dwelley should see the lion's share of snaps Monday against Seattle with starting tight end George Kittle (knee/ankle) listed as doubtful.

Dwelley played 70 percent of offensive snaps in last week's win over the Cardinals -- a game in which Kittle was banged up but still toughed out 69 percent of snaps. With Kittle likely sitting this one out, Dwelley should see the field even more and has a chance to match or surpass his four-catch output from Week 9.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Listed as doubtful

Kittle (knee/ankle) is listed as doubtful for Monday's prime-time contest against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Unable to practice all week, it seems more and more likely Kittle will be unavailable for the 49ers' pivotal Monday night divisional matchup against the Seahawks, with Saturday's designation essentially confirming the bad news. Ross Dwelley is the only healthy tight end on the 49ers' roster at the moment, as Levine Toilolo is also listed as questionable with a groin injury.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Not spotted at practice

Kittle (knee/ankle) was not spotted on the field Saturday during the practice portion open to reporters, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.

This continues to be a worrying trend for Kittle's fantasy owners, as the talented tight end has been unable to practice at any point this week. More information regarding Kittle's availability Monday should come following the release of the team's official practice report later Saturday evening.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Titans' Jonnu Smith: Poised for another start

Smith's teammate Delanie Walker (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Smith took advantage of the same situation with a 6-78-1 receiving line in a Week 8 win over Tampa Bay before dropping to 3-18-0 in last week's loss to the Panthers. His target volume has been encouraging, but Smith does lose some snaps and routes to Anthony Firkser, with the Titans still using a three-man rotation at tight end (MyCole Pruitt mostly gets blocking snaps).
