Goedert (calf) looked surprisingly better at Saturday's practice and is now considered a pregame decision for Sunday's game against the Lions, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Goedert is listed as questionable on the official injury report for Sunday's game. Even if he does play, Goedert's fantasy value remains modest, so long as Zach Ertz (who has been targeted 23 times in two games to date) remains healthy and available.

Daniels was promoted to the Cardinals' active roster Saturday.

Daniels was originally waived by Arizona on Sep. 9, but it seems he latched onto the practice squad and will now provide the team with some depth at tight end for Sunday's matchup with Carolina. The 24-year-old takes the place of offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich, who was let go Saturday in a corresponding move.

Smith caught two of his three targets for 20 yards in Week 3 against Jacksonville.

Smith continues to work behind Delanie Walker -- who led the team in targets -- but drew his most significant work of the season on Thursday. While the Titans heavily targeted tight ends in 2018, the additions of Adam Humphries and A.J. Brown have shifted target distribution. That said, Smith won't see enough volume to be fantasy relevant unless Walker suffers an injury.

With Njoku (wrist) having been placed on IR on Friday, the first game he'd be eligible to play in would be Nov. 24 against the Dolphins, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

It remains to be seen if the tight end will need wrist surgery, with Ulrich suggestion that option is still being considered, while Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has indicated that the tight end will avoid a procedure. For now, it seems like Njoku is a candidate to come back later this season, but those inclined to stash him on fantasy rosters must know that a Week 12 return represents the best-case scenario for the 2017 first-rounder.

Engram will be working with a new quarterback Sunday in Tampa Bay following the elevation of Daniel Jones to the starting job, Matt Lombardo and Ryan Dunleavy of the Newark Star-Ledger report.

Engram didn't exactly suffer with Eli Manning under center, taking advantage of an injury- and suspension-littered receiving corps en route to 17 catches (on 22 targets) for 164 yards and one touchdown. While Sterling Shepard (concussion) will be back in action and Saquon Barkley no doubt will be targeted by Jones, the Giants have already ruled out Cody Latimer (concussion), and fellow wide receiver Bennie Fowler (hamstring) is questionable. Expect Engram to linger among the top three options at Jones' disposal moving forward.

Seals-Jones is in line for an elevated role after the Browns placed Njoku (wrist) on injured reserve, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Seals-Jones was inactive in the regular-season opener and managed to play just three offensive snaps after Njoku's departure Monday. No matter, Seals-Jones possesses the best ability as a pass catcher among the remaining tight ends on the 53-man roster (also, Demetrius Harris and Pharaoh Brown). In 25 appearances with the Cardinals in 2017 and 2018, Seals-Jones averaged 11.8 YPC and scored four touchdowns on 46 targets.

The Browns have placed Njoku (wrist) on IR, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

With Njoku having suffered a broken wrist, the Browns will send the tight end to IR, meaning that he must miss at least eight games before a potential designated-to-return scenario can come into play. In his absence, the team's tight end corps will feature Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown and Ricky Seals-Jones.

Higbee (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Cleveland.

Higbee suffered a lung injury during last week's win over the Saints. His absence frees up more snaps for timeshare partner Gerald Everett, though the Rams might also use four-wide formations with Josh Reynolds, or even give some snaps to No. 3 tight end Johnny Mundt. Either way, the offense figures to revolve around Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.

Graham (groin) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Graham looked good at Friday's practice, noting the tight end should have "a seamless transition" heading into Sunday. It sounds like Graham will be able to play, but he was held without a catch on 51 offensive snaps while battling through the same groin injury last week. The Packers have a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Andrews (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City.

Andrews tended to a foot injury last week as well, but he proceeded to light up the Cardinals to the tune of eight catches (on nine targets) for 112 yards and one touchdown. His availability will be known for certain approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
