  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

Bills' Tyler Kroft: Season debut in doubt

Kroft, who's coming back from a broken foot, is not practicing Friday after injuring his left ankle during Thursday's session, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Kroft was trending toward making his Bills debut, but that's probably not going to happen until at least Week 4. The only slight positive is that the new injury is his left ankle, while the broken foot was the right side. Dawson Knox and Tommy Sweeney should get a few extra looks this week against the Bengals, though neither rookie is getting enough target volume to be a fantasy option in a non-bye weekend.

  • Geoff Swaim TE | CLE

Jaguars' Geoff Swaim: One catch in win

Swaim caught one of two targets for eight yards in Thursday's 20-7 win over the Titans.

Swaim played only 21 snaps on offense (39 percent) while James O'Shaughnessy played 42 (78 percent) and caught a touchdown. The 2015 seventh-round pick appears to be operating as the clear No. 2 tight end in Jacksonville, and he isn't a notable factor in the team's passing game.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Returns to practice

Andrews (foot) returned to a limited practice Thursday.

Andrews sat out Wednesday's practice, but his return to the field Thursday bodes well for his chances of being fine for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. It remains to be seen, however, if the tight end will be listed as questionable for the contest or heads into the weekend with no injury designation.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Looking uncertain for Sunday

Higbee (chest) didn't participate in Thursday's practice, Vincent Bonsignore of The Athletic reports.

With Higbee having sat out the Rams' first two practices of the week, Bonsignore speculates that the tight end's status for Sunday's contest against the Browns could come down to a game-time call. The Rams will see what Higbee is able to do during their final practice session Friday before offering an update on his outlook for Week 3.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Missing at practice again

Goedert (calf) didn't take part in Thursday's practice.

Goedert was one of four skill-position players idle Thursday, with running back Corey Clement (shoulder) and receivers DeSean Jackson (abdomen) and Alshon Jeffery (calf) also sidelined. Coach Doug Pederson previously labeled Goedert day-to-day earlier in the week, but the back-to-back absences at practice don't offer much encouragement for the tight end's chances of suiting up Sunday against the Lions. Goedert will likely need to practice in some fashion Friday to keep hope alive for an appearance in Week 3.

  • Giants' Garrett Dickerson: Full participant in practice

Dickerson (quadriceps) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Dickerson logged his first unrestricted practice session of the season Thursday. He appears on track for Sunday's tilt against the Buccaneers and will likely play his usual role as a run blocker.

  • Tyler Kroft TE | MIA

    Bills' Tyler Kroft: Injures ankle

Kroft suffered a left ankle injury at Thursday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

After missing the first two games of the season while recovering from a broken right foot, Kroft looked poised to make his season debut Sunday versus Cincinnati following his full participation in practice Wednesday. While it's fortunate that Kroft's setback Thursday wasn't to his right leg, the injury nonetheless clouds his availability for Week 3. Dawson Knox would continue to act as the Bills' top pass-catching tight end if Kroft is forced to miss another contest.

  • Jimmy Graham TE | NO

Packers' Jimmy Graham: Another DNP on Thursday

Graham (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Graham has exchanged a finger injury from Week 1 and 2 with a groin issue this week. With health concerns continuing to bite the veteran tight end, the Packers promoted Evan Baylis from the practice squad to join Marcedes Lewis and Robert Tonyan on the 53-man roster. Friday's injury report will give a better sense of Graham's potential to play Sunday versus the Broncos.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Back at practice

Andrews (foot) returned to practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

It remains to be see if he'll be listed as a full or limited participant, but Andrews' return to practice Thursday, in any capacity, puts him on track to play Sunday against the Chiefs.

  • Donald Parham: Let go from practice squad

The Redskins cut Parham from the practice squad Tuesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Parham ultimately spent less than a week on Washington's practice squad, having been cut to make room for fellow tight end Drew Belcher. The undrafted rookie out of Stetson will look to earn an opportunity elsewhere in the league.
