Derby (foot) did not practice Monday, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Derby continues to nurse a foot injury, one that's caused him to miss four consecutive regular-season contests. Rookie tight end Mike Gesicki hauled in all three targets for 44 yards in Derby's absence Week 7, so there's no guarantee that the 27-year-old returns to an uncontested starting role when healthy.

Uzomah hauled in both of his targets for 13 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Bengals' 45-10 loss to the Chiefs.

Uzomah continues to dominate the tight-end snaps for Cincinnati -- he played 57 of a possible 59 in Week 7 -- but he has yet to emerge as much more than a peripheral option in the Cincinnati passing attack. He's been targeted two or fewer times in three of the past four weeks, hindering his upside in games when he's not able to reach the end zone like he did on his four-yard grab in the second quarter. The 25-year-old will at least draw another favorable matchup against a struggling Tampa Bay defense Week 8, but Uzomah could drop further in the pecking order among the Bengals' pass-catching options if Giovani Bernard (knee) is cleared to return to action.

Allen logged 55 of a possible 64 snaps on offense in Sunday's 38-31 win over the Bears.

With both Rob Gronkowski (back/ankle) and Jacob Hollister (hamstring) out, Allen was the only tight end the Patriots had available Sunday. Despite the heavy snap count, Allen was not targeted in the game. He did, however, make an impact as a blocker, notably on James White's second TD of the day. Allen is clearly off the fantasy radar these days, even when Gronkowski is sidelined.

Kelce brought in all five of his targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 45-10 win over Cincinnati.

Backup tight end Demetrius Harris hit paydirt instead, with Kelce doing all of his damage between the 20s. The veteran only has three touchdowns so far this year, but his 563 receiving yards rank him second among all NFL tight ends. Kelce will look to continue his steady production against the Broncos in Week 8.

Schreck injured his left knee and will not return to Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

The severity of Schreck's injury won't be known until he undergoes further testing, but it doesn't look good considering the second-year pro needed to be carted off the field. This isn't a favorable development for a Bengals tight end group that is already without the services of both Tyler Eifert (ankle) and Tyler Kroft (leg).

Kittle caught five of eight targets for 98 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 39-10 loss to the Rams.

Kittle led the team in targets, catches and receiving yardage, thanks in large part to a long gain of 35 yards. He also got into the end zone for the second time this season on a 10-yard strike in the second quarter. Kittle has emerged as one of the top pass-catching tight ends in the NFL this season and is on pace for over 1,200 yards while catching passes from former Iowa teammate C.J. Beathard. He'll look to build on this productive outing next Sunday against the Cardinals.

Hooper enters a Monday night clash with the Giants in the midst of a likely soon-to-be career year, with 30 receptions on 37 targets for 273 yards and two touchdowns through six games.

Matt Ryan has a 116.8 passer rating this season when targeting Austin Hooper, the second-highest among any quarterback-tight-end duo in the league. Voluntary offseason workouts have paid dividends for Hooper, as he and Ryan built rapport over the offseason playing catch at a local high school. If Hooper's stat line through six weeks is extrapolated over a 16-game stretch, he remains on pace to rack up 80 receptions for 728 yards and five touchdowns (previous career highs 49/526/3). Week 7 brings a challenging matchup against a Giants defense that has shut down tight ends in 2018, allowing just 23 receptions and one touchdown to the position (among NFL's 10 best in both categories).

Gesicki brought in three of three targets for 44 yards during the Dolphins' 32-21 loss to Detroit on Sunday.

Gesicki also tied his season high in targets during the Week 7 loss. The second-round rookie logged his strongest receiving game of the season and could be in line for a big opporunity against the Texans on Thursday with Albert Wilson (hip), Kenny Stills (undisclosed) and DeVante Parker (quadriceps) all banged up with a short week to recover.

Swaim will not return to Sunday's game against the Redskins due to a knee injury, Calvin Watkins of The Athletic reports.

Swaim exited the Week 7 contest with a knee injury during the fourth quarter. Expect an update on the No. 1 tight end's health after the conclusion of Sunday's game.

Njoku collected four of six targets, accumulating 52 receiving yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to Tampa Bay.

Njoku has now posted receiving scores in consecutive outings after being held out of the end zone across Cleveland's first five games of 2018. The volume has been there of late for the second-year tight end, as he's averaging 8.8 targets per game over the past four weeks, trailing only Jarvis Landry in that regard (Njoku had averaged 5.3 targets per game through Week 3). "The Joker" will look to keep the production rolling Sunday against Pittsburgh, and a defense that entered its Week 7 bye allowing more receptions to tight ends than any other team in the NFL (46).
