Allen (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Allen returned to practice after missing two games due to the injury. It looks likely he will play this week against Green Bay, but we'll need to see how he's able to hold up during a week of practice.

The Falcons have officially ruled out Jacob Tamme (shoulder) for Thursday's contest at Tampa Bay, allowing Hooper to earn his second consecutive start.

On Atlanta's first drive Sunday against the Packers, Tamme injured his shoulder and was unable to return, paving the way for Hooper to pick up a career-high 46 offensive snaps. The increased usage translated to five catches for 41 yards, but Hooper has displayed sure hands to date, corralling all 11 targets to date in his rookie season. Notably, he's averaging 17.7 YPC on the backs of two 40-yard catches, making him a great fill-in during a week in which a number of stud TEs are on bye.

It appears as though Allen (ankle) has resumed practicing, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.

We'll have to see how the Colts classify the tight end's level of practice participation Wednesday, but his return, even on limited basis, would presumably move Allen from the week-to-week category to day-to-day status.

Coffman was released by the Colts on Tuesday.

Coffman was signed by the Colts exactly two weeks ago but now is once again out of a job with the team signing Frankie Williams. Coffman failed to record a statistic in his two games with the Colts as he played behind the likes of Dwayne Allen (ankle), Jack Doyle, and Erik Swoope.

With teammate Jacob Tamme (shoulder) unavailable to play, Hooper is in line to start Thursday against the Buccaneers, ESPN's Vaughn McClure reports.

Hooper, the Falcons' third-round pick, is a speedy runner who has displayed above-average receiving skills thus far into his brief professional career, as evidenced by his 100 percent catch rate across 11 targets. With only the blocking-oriented Levine Toilolo and undrafted rookie Joshua Perkins slotted behind him on the depth chart, Hooper projects as Atlanta's primary receiving threat from the tight end position. However, those interested in picking him up should note the Bucs haven't allowed a tight end to score this season as well as that Tamme himself only received about two targets per game over the past five weeks, never topping 19 receiving yards.

Hamlett was waived by the Browns on Monday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Hamlett was waived in order to make room for linebacker Jamie Collins whom the Browns traded for Monday. Hamlett recorded one catch for 17 yards and a touchdown in four games with the Browns this season.

The Vikings have listed Pruitt (knee) as inactive for Monday's matchup with the Bears.

This will mark the second consecutive game missed for Pruitt. his absence leaves Rhett Ellison and David Morgan as the Vikings tight end depth behind starter Kyle Rudolph.

Ertz caught four passes (on four targets) for 19 yards in Sunday night's overtime loss to the Cowboys.

Ertz's mere 4.8 yards per reception was not unlike most of his teammates' averages on Sunday night, when Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz posted just 4.7 yards per attempt. While the tight end still hauled in all four passes his way, Ertz's yardage total hardly helped owners. Since returning from his early-season rib injury, Ertz has yet to top 37 yards in four games and still hasn't scored this season.

Henry caught two of four targets for 14 yards in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.

Henry tormented the Broncos just two weeks ago for six catches and a touchdown, but no such luck on Sunday. The rookie was riding high for a while there, topping 60 yards receiving in four straight games with a three-game touchdown streak. He has fallen off as of late, with just three catches for 30 yards in his last two outings. If you're looking for where his production has gone, look no further than veteran Antonio Gates. After struggling with a hamstring injury earlier this season, Gates has caught nine of 19 targets during Henry's two-game skid, including a touchdown on Sunday.

Graham caught three of five targets for just 34 yards during Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Saints.

Graham entered the week having racked up 357 yards on 23 catches over his last four games, but he was unable to punish his former team as the Seattle passing offense struggled to generate big plays. He generated a long catch of just 15 yards and failed to haul in a pass deep in New Orleans territory that could have changed the outcome of the game. Despite Sunday's sub-par effort, Graham has been a big part of the offense as the season has moved along and he should produce more desirable results in Week 9 against the Bills.
