Ertz (concussion) will not play in Thursday's game against the Lions, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Ertz was quickly cleared to participate in team meetings, which suggests he has a good chance to be ready for Week 13. However, with the Eagles facing a short turnaround ahead of a Thanksgiving contest, Ertz simply doesn't have enough time to make it through the NFL's concussion protocol. His absence will likely leave more snaps and targets for Brent Celek, with Trey Burton serving as the No. 2 tight end.

Graham caught three passes for 39 yards in another slow day Sunday as the Seahawks defeated he 49ers.

Graham, who was targeted only three times, has failed to top 41 yards in six games this season and has reached 75 yards only three times. The Seahawks weren't expected to target him as much as the Saints did, but they don't use him anything like he experienced in New Orleans. Entering the game, he had lined up tight 60.1 percent of plays compared to 37.1 percent with the Saints and 25.7 percent in the slot after 42 percent in New Orleans. Worse, he's been targeted in the red zone a mere eight times this season, just three times inside the 10 (none since Week 3).

Hamm has been promoted from Washington's practice squad to the team's active roster.

In a corresponding move, the team waived fellow TE Anthony McCoy, with Hamm now in line to provide depth at the position behind Jordan Reed (who is currently dealing with a knee issue) and Derek Carrier.

Allen had just one reception for seven yards and was targeted just one time in Sunday's win at Atlanta.

A change to Matt Hasselbeck at quarterback didn't alter Allen's role in the passing game as he's largely been invisible the past seven games. Allen has just 12 targets in his last seven games.

Coming out of a bye week, Donnell will likely return for Sunday's game against the Redskins. Fill-in starter Will Tye was more involved in the past two games, but he didn't play well enough to threaten Donnell's role. The Giants will be glad to have their top tight end healthy.

If Ertz doesn't play, Brent Celek and Trey Burton would likely get a few more opportunities in the passing game.

Ertz had turned into the Eagles' primary tight end receiving target in recent weeks after starting the season slow after a pre-season injury. He suffered his concussion midway through the Eagles' loss to Tampa Bay, exiting the game with two catches for 12 yards.

Kelce caught five of seven targets for just 46 yards in Sunday's 33-3 win at San Diego.

Kelce hasn't had big game since Week 1, as the Chiefs like to run the ball and dink and dunk with Alex Smith. Kelce did appear to score a touchdown right before halftime, but the play was reversed via replay. While he's seen at least six targets in nine of 10 games this season, he's only seen more than seven looks three times. He's got the skill set and talent to be a dominant receiving tight end, but mainly because of the team's conservative offense, he's not getting opportunities down the field to make big plays. In any case, he and the Chiefs will host the Bills in Week 12.

Ertz was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bucs with a concussion, philly.com reports.

With the Eagles set to play again on Thanksgiving, Ertz's Week 12 status looks cloudy at this stage, given the short turnaround in play here.

Ertz is under examination for a head injury suffered during Sunday's game versus the Buccaneers.

In an attempt to hurdle a Bucs defender, Ertz was upended and landed awkwardly on his neck. While he was able to walk to the locker room under his own power, the Eagles are apt to consider all potential issues to learn the nature of the ailment. For the time being, his return to the field is up in the air.
