Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis remains confident that Blake Bortles will be targeting him often in his first game back against the Colts in Week 12, per the Florida Times-Union. Lewis will make his first appearance since suffering a high left ankle sprain Week 2, and his first with Bortles this season.

"He's not afraid to throw me that ball, period," Lewis said. "He threw me a couple passes in practice [Monday] that were good balls. He told me 'Look, now I know I can throw the ball up there for you.'"

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce led the team in receiving Week 12 against the Raiders.

Kelce hauled in four passes for 67 yards. Alex Smith was his usual self, spreading the ball to nine different receivers, meaning Kelce led the team despite an underwhelming total. Kelce did have two of the biggest plays of the night for Kansas City. He hauled in a 21 yard pass and a 27 yard pass during the contest. Those were the second and third longest passing plays of the night for the Chiefs. 

Kelce will look for more Week 13 against the Broncos. 

The Chiefs will have tight end Travis Kelce against the Raiders Week 12.

Kelce entered the game listed as probable due to shoulder and rib injuries. He was never expected to miss the contest. The team will also have Zach Fulton, Phillip Gaines, Tamba Hali, Mike McGlynn and Sean Smith. All five were listed as probable coming into the game.

Anthony Fasano, who was listed as questionable, will attempt to give it a go. He's dealing with a knee injury.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew, who practiced fully Wednesday, was downgraded to a limited participant Thursday, reports Detroit Sports 105.1. Pettigrew missed the Week 11 loss at Arizona.

The Bills have been awarded tight end MarQueis Gray, who had been placed on waivers by Minnesota. The team has released running back Philip Tanner to make room for Gray on the roster.

Gray has played in just two games this season and caught one pass.

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen missed his second straight practice Thursday as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle he suffered Sunday, reports the Indianapolis Star. The paper expects Allen to sit out Week 12 against the Jaguars.

With Cardinals tight end Troy Niklas (ankle) on injured reserve, the team will turn to tight end Darren Fells to fill his role, reports Fox Sports. "Darren will take Troy's job, and he's more than capable," coach Bruce Arians said.

"He's shown flashes of being a very dominant blocker. This is a great opportunity for him, and we need him to step up."

Arizona visits Seattle on Sunday.

Six Chiefs are listed as probable for Thursday's game at Oakland, including tight end Travis Kelce, who's dealing with rib and shoulder injuries. Joining Kelce are guard Mike McGlynn (knee), outside linebacker Tamba Hali (knee), guard Zach Fulton (ankle), cornerback Phillip Gaines (ankle, quad) and cornerback Sean Smith (groin).

The Vikings have cut tight end MarQueis Gray to make room on the roster for just-claimed running back Ben Tate.

Gray has participated in all but two games this season, but has just one catch for 16 yards.

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen, who sprained his ankle in the Week 11 loss to New England, is not practicing Wednesday, reports RTV6 in Indianapolis. The Colts host the Jaguars on Sunday.
