Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) is listed as probable for Thursday's game against the Texans.

While Allen looks poised to return to action after missing two games, the presence of fellow TE Coby Fleener makes Allen a hit-or-miss Fantasy lineup option these days, given the timeshare in play here.

Lions tight end Eric Ebron (knee) told ESPN he could be out up to three weeks.

Ebron's chances of playing this week probably are not good, but it does not appear he will require surgery for his setback. He could return to action before the end of October.

Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring), assuming he is healthy, and Timothy Wright will handle the tight end duties for the Lions until Ebron is able to return.

Giants tight end Larry Donnell hauled in five passes off of seven targets for 38 yards in Sunday's win over Buffalo.

Donnell ranks second on the team in both targets and receptions through the first quarter of the season. His 15 catches are the 11th most among NFL tight ends. Eli Manning has long built a strong rapport with his tight ends and the position is readily featured in Ben McAdoo's version of the West Coast Offense. Whether his role in the offense stays as prominent as it has will warrant monitoring once Victor Cruz returns to the lineup.

Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham caught four passes off of five targets for 29 yards in Monday's win over Detroit.

After almost resembling his bayou-self during last week's seven-catch performance against Chicago, Graham was kept quiet on Monday. Part of Graham's less-than-exciting start has to do with fewer passes to go around, after being part of an offense that ranked second in the league in pass attempts last season, he's on a squad that had thrown the 23rd most passes through four weeks. Even when Seattle does pass the ball, Graham is not the go-to target he was in New Orleans. Graham trails Doug Baldwin in targets and catches and Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse in yards. Graham is far and away the Seahawks' most established target, so he should remain in your lineup with the hope of more games like Week 3 and fewer like Week 4.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) will take part in practice this week, and if he avoids a setback, he's expected to play Sunday against the Cardinals, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.

Pettigrew has done very little since sustaining a hamstring injury in the opener, but it appears as if he'll make initial attempts to return to the field this week. On Monday night, fellow tight end Eric Ebron suffered a knee injury that has placed his immediate availability in question, necessitating Pettigrew's presence in the offense. Expect the week of preparation to determine the eventual TE pecking order Sunday.

With Allen on track to return from a one-game absence, Coby Fleener figures to lose some snaps and targets. When both tight ends are healthy, neither can be counted on for much of anything.

Bills tight end MarQueis Gray (broken forearm) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, ESPN reports.

With Gray ruled out for the season, Chris Gragg and Matthew Mulligan will provide depth at tight end behind Charles Clay. Gray, a former college quarterback, saw just one target in four games this season.

Tight end Tony Moeaki was signed by the Falcons on Tuesday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

With Jacob Tamme (concussion) still recovering in the wake of a Week 4 absence, Moeaki could serve as the No. 2 tight end behind Levine Toilolo in Sunday's game against the Redskins.

A third-round draft pick back in 2010, Moeaki has struggled with injuries throughout his career, and he no longer possesses the high-end athleticism he had upon entering the league.

Bills tight end MarQueis Gray, the team's No. 2 tight end, suffered a broken forearm during Sunday's loss to the Giants, WKBW.com reports.

It's undetermined at this time how much action Gray will miss, though it's worth noting Charles Clay is hogging up all the tight end targets in the Buffalo passing game. To date, Gray, Chris Gragg, and Matthew Mulligan have just one catch each though four games.
