Packers tight end Andrew Quarless is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Chiefs due to a knee injury, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

In the second quarter, Quarless seemed to pick up the ailment on his first catch of the season. If he remains sidelined, the Packers will have just one available tight end (Richard Rodgers) for the remainder of the contest.

Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham led the Seahawks with seven receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown Sunday in a win against the Bears as he was finally more involved in the offense.

The Seahawks had trouble getting the ball to Graham in the first two games, but Sunday they made him a focal point. He was targeted a team-high eight times. It's still a work in progress, and the soft Bears defense probably helped matters, but Graham should get 8-10 targets a week.

It was a favorable matchup for Graham, and he responded with his best game of the season. After receiving eight targets in both the season opener and Sunday, it appears as though Week 2's two-look outing was the the anomaly.

Russell Wilson is attempting more passes than ever before, so one would assume that Graham's role will grow. He and the Seahawks will face the Lions at home in Week 4.

Eagles tight end Zach Ertz made the most of his two opportunities Sunday against the Jets, catching both of them for 30 yards.

After being targeted 15 times in the first two games of the season, his two targets were a significant dropoff, though quarterback Sam Bradford only threw 28 passes, completing half of them. With Jordan Matthews and the running backs getting most of his attention, it's tough to see Ertz making a meaningful Fantasy impact.

He will try to contribute more at Washington next Sunday.

A hamstring issue has Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew ruled out Sunday for the second straight week. He will be inactive against Denver.

His absence leaves Eric Ebron as the likely starter. Ebron played nearly 90 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2, after playing just 64 percent in Week 1 when Pettigrew was healthy.

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) has been ruled out for the Week 3 game at Tennessee, per the team website.

With Allen unavailable, Coby Fleener is a candidate to see an uptick in targets at that spot.

Allen didn't practice at all this week, so it will be a stretch for him to play in Week 3. The Colts will provide an update on his availability for the game against Tennessee sometime Friday afternoon.

Thus continues Pettigrew's absence due to a hamstring injury from Week 1. Expect Eric Ebron to continue to hold down the fort at tight end, even when Pettigrew is healthy enough to return.

Colts tight end Dwayne Allen (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Kevin Bowen of Colts.com reports.

A return in some capacity Friday would give Allen a chance to suit up against Tennessee on Sunday, but if he ends up ruled out for the contest or is limited in his participation, Coby Fleener would be in line for added opportunities.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew (hamstring) didn't take part in practice Wednesday, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Pettigrew hasn't stepped on the field since sustaining a hamstring injury in Week 1, which has allowed Eric Ebron to take over the starting tight-end gig full time. As a result, Pettigrew will likely find difficulty factoring into the passing attack once his health is intact.
