The Cardinals are in excellent shape heading into their Sunday clash against Philadelphia. Only six players are listed on their Friday injury report and one is deemed less than questionable. That is tight end Troy Niklas (ankle), who has been ruled out.

Defensive end Calais Campbell (knee), who returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday and Friday, is questionable. The probables are wideout John Brown (ankle), running back Andre Ellington (foot), defensive and Frostee Rucker (calf) and safety Rashad Johnson (knee).

The Lions are nearly certain to be sans three tight ends for their Sunday game against Atlanta. Both Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joseph Fauria (ankle) have been ruled out while starter Brandon Pettigrew (foot) has been designated as doubtful.

Their absences could launch Jordan Thompson into the starting role. He was recently signed off the practice squad. Fullback Jed Collins could also earn some reps at tight end.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was limited in practice Thursday, according to ESPN.

This is the second day in a row Kelce has been limited in practice due to a rib injury. He has emerged as a solid threat in the passing game, hauling in 24 receptions and three scores.

Lions running back Reggie Bush (ankle), tight end Eric Ebron (hamstring), tight end Joseph Fauria (ankle) and tight end Brandon Pettigrew (foot) all sat out practice Thursday. Bush was the only player of the four to practice Wednesday.

The Lions are preparing to play the Falcons in Week 8.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was limited in Wednesday's practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers. Graham, who's nursing a shoulder injury, played 30 snaps in the Week 7 loss at Detroit. He was targeted twice without making a catch.

The Giants are stressing ball security with breakout tight end Larry Donnell, who lost two fumbles in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss at Dallas. "It's one of those things we preach on a daily basis, whether it be technique or focus on the football," tight ends coach Kevin M. Gilbride told The Star-Ledger.

"And that's something he knows he needs to improve on. He knows it hurt our football team."

Donnell has lost three fumbles in seven games this season. The Giants are on a bye this week.

Lions tight ends Brandon Pettigrew, Eric Ebron and Joseph Fauria were all held out of practice Wednesday.

Ebron (hamstring) and Fauria (ankle) continue to be sidelined due to injuries that kept them out Week 7 vs. New Orleans, and Pettigrew appears to be sidelined due to an ankle/foot injury he sustained Sunday against the Saints, according to MLive.com.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians indicated Tuesday that tight end Troy Niklas (ankle) is unlikely to play in Week 8 against the Eagles, FOXSports.com reports.

Niklas has missed the last two weeks after suffering an ankle sprain. He has one reception for 16 yards on the season.

The Seahawks claimed tight end Brett Brackett off waivers from Tennessee Tuesday and waived tight end RaShaun Allen. Brackett played two games with the Titans before being waived Monday.

The Colts signed running back/return specialist Jeff Demps and tight end Konrad Reuland to the practice squad Tuesday, the team announced. The team released quarterback Dominique Davis and wide receiver Chandler Jones to make room for the new additions.
