The Lions received contributions from several role players in a Week 4 win over the Jets at MetLife Stadium

Ryan Broyles caught a 21-yard pass from Matthew Stafford in the third quarter for his only catch of the afternoon. He was targeted twice. Brandon Pettigrew caught all two of his targets in the first half. He finished the game with 19 receiving yards.

Several key Cowboys who were on the injury report are active for Sunday Night Football against the Saints. They include linebacker Rolando McClain (groin), defensive tackle Henry Melton (hamstring), linebacker Justin Durant (groin), tight end Gavin Escobar (knee) and defensive end Anthony Spencer (knee).

Jets rookie tight end Jace Amaro enjoyed a productive performance, catching all five of his targets in a Week 4 defeat to the Lions.

Amaro caught a six-yard pass in the first quarter for his only catch of the first half. He caught passes for 13, 9, 21 and 9 yards in the second half. He finished as the team's second-leading receiver with 58 yards in a 24-17 defeat. Amaro has racked up 50-plus yards in each of his last two games.

The Jets will travel to San Diego to face the Chargers in Week 5

The Jets couldn't win on Sunday against the Lions, dropping their third game this season. But rookie tight end Jace Amaro came back from a bad game in Week 3 to catch all five of his targets for 58 yards. 

What's especially encouraging is that Amaro caught four of his five passes in the fourth quarter when the Jets were playing from behind. And while none were in the red zone, that's something that could change in time considering Amaro's 6-foot-5, 265-pound frame. 

Keep tabs on Amaro in the coming weeks. If his playing time trends in the right direction we could see him become a regular target in the Jets offense. They could certainly use him. 

Which Colts tight end should you start? At this point, the answer might be, "both."

For the second straight week, Andrew Luck found both Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen for touchdowns Sunday, in a 41-17 blowout win over the Titans. The duo has combined for five touchdowns through four games, with both having found the end zone at least twice.

Would we prefer if either Fleener or Allen was in a place where they were the only person hauling in passes from Luck? Sure, but the Colts play a ton of snaps with multiple tight ends on the field anyways, so both will see plenty of action. Allen and Fleener should both be considered worthy options, especially as No. 2 Fantasy tight ends. 

A slew of Eagles who were listed as probable are active for the game in San Francisco. They include wideouts Jordan Matthews (oblique) and Brad Smith (groin), defensive end Brandon Bair (foot), cornerback Brandon Boykin (hip), tight end James Casey (knee), defensive end Fletcher Cox (back), offensive tackle Matt Tobin (ankle) and safety Earl Wolff (knee).

The Jaguars have listed TE Mickey Shuler, WR Marqise Lee, OL Tyler Shatley, OL Austin Pasztor, WR Tavarres King , LB Jeremiah George  and CB Jeremy Harris as inactive Week 4 against the Chargers. 

Both Lee and Shuler had been ruled out prior to the game. Pasztor was considered probable, so the move comes as a surprise.

The Chargers have made Jason Verrett, Ryan Mathews, Manti Te'o , Reggie Walker, Rich Ohrnberger, David Johnson and Jeremiah Attaochu inactive for Week 4 against the Jaguars.

Mathews, Te'o and Walker had already been ruled out prior to the final injury report. Ohrnberger was listed as doubtful coming into the contest. 

The following players were listed inactive for the Lions  in Week 4 against the Jets: Quarterback Kellen Moore, safety Don Carey, cornerback Cassius Vaughn, linebacker Travis Lewis, tackle LaAdrian Waddle, defensive end Larry Webster and tight end Joseph Fauria.

49ers tight end Vernon Davis obviously makes for a risky play in Week 4 against the Eagles, as he is a game-time decision with an ankle injury.

Davis will try to test out his ankle before the game, so we should know his status around 90 minutes before their 4:25 pm EST kickoff. If you have a Davis replacement ready to slide into the lineup, make sure it is someone set to play at 4:00 pm EST or later.

Some options to consider might be Ladarius Green of the Chargers (50 percent owned), Travis Kelce (69 percent) or Anthony Fasano (3 percent) of the Chiefs, Josh Hill of the Saints (0 percent), or Davis' backup Derek Carrier (3 percent).
