Getting more time on the field with Jermichael Finley suffering a concussion in the first quarter, Packers tight end Andrew Quarless turned in his best performance of the season Week 3 at Cincinnati, catching three passes for 21 yards. His five targets were fourth-most on the team.

Finley will get a chance to recover with the team on bye in Week 4. If he's not ready to return Week 5 against Lions, Quarless would again take his spot in the lineup.

Panthers fullback Richie Brockel, running back Armond Smith and wide receiver Domenik Hixon all had very minor contributions Week 3 vs. N.Y. Giants.

Brockel had one rush for 1 yard, Smith had three carries for zero yards and Hixon had one catch for 8 yards.

The Panthers are on a bye Week 4 and return to action Week 5 at Arizona.

Giants wide receiver Louis Murphy, wide receiver Jerrel Jernigan and tight end Bear Pascoe all contributed one catch during a 38-0 loss Week 3 at Carolina.

Murphy, unfortunately, fumbled his 8-yard catch in the fourth quarter. Jernigan gained 5 yards on his reception, and Pascoe had 2 yards and was targeted twice.

The Giants are back in action Week 4 at Kansas City.

Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen got the start Sunday in the Week 3 loss at home to the Lions with Fred Davis inactive for the game. 

Although Paulsen started, Jordan Reed was mostly involved in the offensive game plan. That said, Reed also got hurt in the game. In the end, Paulsen finished with four catches for 51 yards on six targets from Robert Griffin III. Reed had five catches for 50 yards before leaving the game. 

Paulsen is mostly a blocking tight end for Washington. He has six catches for 64 yards and no scores this season and all that production has come in the last two games. The Redskins play at Oakland Week 4. 

Lions tight end Joseph Fauria hauled in a 5-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford in the second quarter of Sunday's Week 3 win at Washington.

Fauria already has two touchdowns this season for the Lions, the first two of his career. Fauria caught just the one pass for 5 yards in the game on three targets from Stafford. 

The tight end out of UCLA has four catches for 32 yards and two scores thus far on his rookie season. 

Lions tight ends Tony Scheffler and Brandon Pettigrew did little in the Week 3 win at Washington. They finished with just two combined catches in the game while Joseph Fauria scored a touchdown. 

Scheffler had two catches for 5 yards on two targets from quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford only looked Pettigrew's way twice and the veteran couldn't make a single catch. 

Pettigrew has just five catches on the year for 38 yards after three games. Scheffler caught his first two passes of the year Sunday. 

Just when you thought Saints tight end Jimmy Graham couldn't possibly top his performance of a week ago, when he had 10 catches for 179 yards and touchdown, he came through with two scores Week 3 against the Cardinals -- a 16-yard catch in the second quarter and a 7-yard catch in the fourth. And if he had maintained possession all the way to the ground on another 7-yard catch earlier in fourth quarter, he would have had a three-touchdown day.

As it was, he caught nine passes on 15 targets for 134 yards, leading the team in all three categories. He already has as many 100-yard efforts in three games this year as he did in 15 games last year.

Graham will look to continue the monster production Week 4 against the Dolphins.

Texans tight end Garrett Graham was able to play through a hip injury in Week 3, but failed to make any kind of impact in a 30-9 loss to the Ravens.

Graham, who had scored in each of the first two games, was not even targeted in the passing game. Graham remains stuck at seven catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns heading into Week 4 against the Seahawks.  

Cowboys tight end Gavin Escobar caught the first touchdown of his career, a 24-yarder from Tony Romo at the start of the second half in Sunday's 31-7 victory over the Rams. 

Escobar, a second-round pick in this year's draft, was targeted twice in the game. The touchdown was his only reception. 

The Cowboys travel to San Diego in Week to take on the Chargers. Escobar now has three catches for 40 yards on the season. 

The Buccaneers were down tight ends Tom Crabtree and Luke Stocker for the Week 3 game at New England. They had to get some other options into the act at the position.

Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman found tight end Timothy Wright for one catch for 6 yards on two targets. Starter Nate Byham had one catch for 3 yards in the game on one target. The Bucs play against Arizona Week 4 and will look to get healthy again at the TE position.
