Detroit will re-sign Zylstra for the 2025 season, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.

The Lions added Zylstra to the active roster from their practice squad in November of 2024, and over 13 games including the playoffs, he caught his only target for 22 yards. He also contributed on special teams, logging more snaps in that phase than on offense for the first time in his career. Barring injuries, his role on Detroit's offense is likely to be minor in 2025.

Andrews' $4 million roster bonus for the 2025 season triggered Sunday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The roster bonus was due on the fifth day of the new league year, and the Ravens have made the expected move to keep him around in Baltimore for an eighth season to begin his career. The veteran tight end had a rough end to this past campaign during the team's 27-25 divisional-round loss at Buffalo, but he recorded a career-best 11 touchdowns in the 2024 regular season among his 55 receptions. Andrews, who turns 30 in September, will remain one of the key targets for QB Lamar Jackson for at least one more year.

The Lions signed Yeboah to a one-year contract Friday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Yeboah played his first four NFL campaigns with the Jets, with most of his work during that span coming on special teams. He did log a career-high five catches and 47 receiving yards last season while nabbing his first NFL touchdown Week 11 against Indianapolis. The Lions have Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright leading their tight-end corps, so Yeboah's role will likely center around blocking and special teams.

Granson is signing a one-year contract with the Eagles.

A 2021 fourth-round pick, Granson was the tight end of choice in clear passing situations for most of his tenure with the Colts, but he didn't get much playing time otherwise and scored just one TD in 62 regular-season games. He did have back-to-back seasons of 30-plus catches and more than 300 yards in 2022 and 2023, before sinking to a 14-182-0 receiving line in 2024. Granson may end up part of a rotation in Philadelphia if the trade rumors concerning Dallas Goedert come to fruition.

The Bears re-signed Carlson (collarbone) on Friday, Brendan Sugrue of USA Today reports.

Carlson missed the entire 2024 campaign due to a serious collarbone injury sustained back in September, after having begun the season on the practice squad. He only appeared in one game with Chicago in 2023, playing one snap on special teams. Carlson figures to be fully healthy by the start of training camp, at which point he could get a chance to compete for a greater depth role behind Cole Kmet and Durham Smythe.

The Dolphins signed Brown to a contract Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Brown is an experienced veteran tight end with proven capabilities as a rotational blocker. He handled such a role across 15 regular-season appearances with the Seahawks in 2024, averaging 16.3 offensive snaps per game while drawing only 12 total targets. That skillset fills an area of need for Miami, with Durham Smythe having departed for Chicago in free agency.

Smartt is signing a one-year contract with the Jets, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Smartt was the Chargers' top pass-catching TE for a few weeks last season while Will Dissly was injured, but they didn't consider him worthy of a restricted-free-agent tender for $3.26 million. While that isn't the best sign for his NFL future, nor for his odds of gaining fantasy relevance, Smartt at least did well to land with a team that has one of the weakest TE rooms in the league. Incumbent starter Tyler Conklin is an unrestricted free agent, leaving 2022 third-round pick Jeremy Ruckert atop the depth chart, backed only by young, undrafted players. The Jets figure to add more talent at the position if they don't re-sign Conklin, and Smartt's chances to earn a regular role in passing situations likely depends on whether the team gets an experienced starter / early draft pick or settles for another bargain-bin signing / late-round selection. Either way, the path to mainstream fantasy relevance is slim.

Bryant signed a one-year contract with the Eagles on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bryant appeared in 13 regular-season games with Las Vegas in 2024, in which span he secured nine of 12 targets for 86 yards. The 2020 fourth-round pick will next compete to entrench himself in a similar depth role with Philadelphia, where Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra stand atop the tight end depth chart.

Stoll agreed to terms Thursday on a one-year contract with the Saints, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Stoll played seven regular-season games in Philadelphia last year before being waived, then being claimed by Miami and making four more appearances. He'll now get a chance to compete for a depth gig in New Orleans, where he boasts familiarity with new head coach Kellen Moore.

Hendershot became an unrestricted free agent Wednesday after the Chiefs did not offer a tender on his contract, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Hendershot spent most of the 2024 regular season on the Chiefs' 53-man roster after being traded by the Cowboys in late August. He caught five passes on as many targets for 51 yards across seven regular-season games and played in all three of the Chiefs' playoff games. Hendershot will look to join a team looking to bolster its depth at tight end.
