  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Tending to knee issue

Freiermuth was listed as limited on Tuesday's practice report due to a knee injury, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Freiermuth previously sat out Weeks 5-10 due to a hamstring issue, but a different concern is impacting his reps to begin Week 16 prep. Since returning from injured reserve Week 11, he's hauled in 19 of 28 targets for 190 yards and no touchdowns, with most of that production coming in Week 12 against Cincinnati (9-120-0 on 11 targets). Freiermuth will be tough to trust in Saturday's rematch with the Bengals if he's able to suit up.

  • Dalton Kincaid TE | BUF

Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Remains listed as limited

Kincaid was listed as limited on Tuesday's practice estimate due to a shoulder injury.

The Bills contained their first on-field work of Week 16 prep to a walkthrough, but Kincaid nonetheless would have had a cap on his reps if the team had held an actual practice. He also was listed as limited on all three injury reports last week due to thumb and shoulder issues but entered the weekend without a designation. Kincaid then logged a below-average 49 percent snap share and didn't haul in either of his targets during Sunday's 31-10 win against the Cowboys. His status will be one to monitor ahead of Saturday's game at the Chargers to see if he can increase his activity level Wednesday and/or Thursday.

  • Ko Kieft TE | TB

Buccaneers' Ko Kieft: Finds end zone in win

Kieft caught his only target for a two-yard touchdown in the Buccaneers' 34-20 win over the Packers on Sunday.

Kieft's first catch of the season was certainly noteworthy and extended the Buccaneers' lead to 27-17 late in the third quarter. The blocking tight end also recorded a scoring grab on seven catches during his rookie 2022 campaign, but he remains a complete afterthought in the air attack despite Sunday's contribution.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Inefficient with nine targets

Goedert secured four of nine targets for 30 yards in the Eagles' 20-17 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night.

Goedert finished with the second-most targets on the night for the Eagles yet did little with them, leading to his second straight 4-30-0 line. The veteran tight end's target total tied a season high, but Goedert has now been at 50 receiving yards or less in four straight contests heading into a Week 16 home matchup against the Giants on Christmas Day.

  • Josh Pederson TE | JAC

Josh Pederson: Back to practice squad

Pederson reverted to the Jaguars' practice squad Monday.

Pederson was active for Sunday's loss to the Ravens, failing to record any stats while playing one offensive snap. He'll now wait for his next shot to appear in a game with Jacksonville.

  • Tucker Fisk TE | LAC

Tucker Fisk: Reverts to practice squad

Fisk reverted to Atlanta's practice squad Monday.

Fisk played 20 snaps on offense during Sunday's loss to Carolina and managed to haul in his only target for nine yards. The 24-year-old has now been elevated the maximum of three times this season and the Falcons will have to sign him to the active roster in order for Fisk to play again.

  • Eagles' Albert Okwuegbunam: Not playing versus Seattle

Okwuegbunam (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Philadelphia's game versus the Seahawks on Monday.

Okwuegbunam will now be inactive for the second straight week since Dallas Goedert has returned from a forearm injury. Okwuegbunam has appeared in just four games this season and has yet to even be targeted.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Falcons' Jonnu Smith: Leads team in receiving yards

Smith caught both of his targets for 61 yards during Sunday's 9-7 loss to Carolina.

Smith was fifth on the team in targets but led Atlanta in receiving thanks to a 56-yard gain in the second quarter, setting up the only touchdown of the game. The veteran tight end played just 17 snaps compared to Kyle Pitts' 34, so despite the big play, Smith's fantasy value remains limited. Since posting a 5-100-1 line against the Vikings in Week 9, Smith has caught just nine of 15 targets for 99 yards over his last five appearances and hasn't scored during that stretch.

  • Will Mallory TE | IND

Colts' Will Mallory: No receptions in win

Mallory did not have a catch or target in Saturday's win over Pittsburgh.

Just when it looked like Mallory may emerge as the top receiving tight end in the offense with nine receptions the prior three games, he fell to fourth in playing time at the position. Drew Ogletree played on 38 of the offense's 67 snaps with Mo Alie-Cox followed with 35, Kylen Granson played 20 and Will Mallory logged eight. Indy's distribution of tight end targets in the passing game changes almost randomly each week and is divided up among up to four players, making none much of an option for most fantasy formats.

  • Mo Alie-Cox TE | IND

Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: Gets third TD

Alie-Cox had two reception for 21 yards on four targets, including an 18-yard touchdown, in Saturday's win over Pittsburgh.

It was Alie-Cox's week to lead the tight ends in receiving even though he went out on the third-most routes at the postion. Drew Ogletree played on 38 of the offense's 67 snaps, while Alie-Cox played on 35 snaps, Kylen Granson logged 20 and Will Mallory played eight. Alie-Cox went out for a pass on 11 plays, while Olgetree and Granson recorded 12 routes and Mallory ran seven. With Indy dividing up usage among tight ends between four players almost randomly each week, none are reliable. However, Alie-Cox has caught a touchdown in consecutive weeks and has three overall this season.
