  • Josh Pederson TE | JAC

Josh Pederson: Added to Jaguars' practice squad

Pederson was signed to Jacksonville's practice squad Thursday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Pederson will remain with the Jaguars' organization after the team waived him Tuesday. The tight end is entering his third season as a pro and will likely spend the majority, if not all, of the 2023 campaign on the practice squad.

  • Thomas Odukoya: Sticking with Titans

Odukoya signed with Tennessee's practice squad Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Odukoya spent the entirety of the 2022 campaign on the Titans' practice squad, and that's where he'll return for the start of the 2023 season. The tight end has yet to make his NFL debut after signing with Tennessee last offseason as a part of the league's International Pathway Program.

  • Blake Whiteheart: Lands on practice squad

The Cardinals signed Whiteheart to the practice squad Friday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Whiteheart will now stay in Arizona after having been waived Wednesday. The 23-year-old signed as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest back in April but became expendable after the team claimed Elijah Higgins off waivers.

  • Troy Fumagalli TE | MIN

Troy Fumagalli: Back with San Fran

The 49ers signed Fumagalli to their practice squad Wednesday.

A 2018 fifth-round pick by Denver, Fumagalli has struggled to stay on active rosters. The Wisconsin product appeared in 19 games from 2019 to 2020, totaling 14 catches for 118 yards and two scores, but he hasn't played in a regular-season game since. The 49ers have one of the better tight end corps in the NFL, so Fumagalli likely won't get many chances in 2023.

  • Rodney Williams: Joins Pittsburgh's practice squad

The Steelers signed Williams to their practice squad Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

A 2022 UDFA, Williams spent most of his rookie campaign on the Steelers' practice squad and is looking at a similar role in 2023. The UT Martin product has yet to appear in a regular-season game, but he caught two of three targets for 15 yards across three preseason contests this year.

  • Tanner Conner TE | NYG

Tanner Conner: Headed to practice squad

The Dolphins signed Conner to the practice squad Wednesday.

Conner is entering his second year as a pro after also spending his rookie campaign with the Dolphins. The vast majority of his work in 2022 came on special teams, and that's unlikely to change if he cracks the roster at some point in 2023.

  • Tanner Hudson TE | CIN

Tanner Hudson: Brought back by Bengals

The Bengals signed Hudson to their practice squad Wednesday.

Hudson has bounced around the league in four professional seasons, though he's coming off his best year in 2022 when he posted 10 receptions for 132 yards with the Giants. The Bengals have a deep skill-position group overall but are thin at tight end, so Hudson could see time with the team at some point in 2023.

  • Joel Wilson TE | TEN

Joel Wilson: Brought back to practice squad

The Bills signed Wilson to the practice squad Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.

Wilson was in camp with the Bills but faced a long road to a roster spot due to the presence of Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid. He's now set to offer organizational depth at tight end, though his impact is likely to be limited.

  • Travis Vokolek TE | ARI

Travis Vokolek: Rejoins Baltimore on practice squad

Vokolek was picked up by the Ravens' practice squad Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Vokolek had a good preseason, including a two-touchdown performance against the Commanders on Aug. 21. He signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska and will continue to work towards an opportunity to move up to the team's active roster.

  • Ben Mason TE | LAC

Ben Mason: Rejoins Baltimore on practice squad

Mason was picked up by the Ravens' practice squad Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Mason was waived by the Ravens on Tuesday. He has yet to play in an NFL game since being selected in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent last year on Baltimore's practice squad and will resume that role to start the 2023 season.
