  • Jordan Akins TE | JAC

Texans' Jordan Akins: Gets into end zone Sunday

Akins brought in three of six targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Akins recorded a 12-yard scoring grab late in the third quarter that gave the Texans a brief lead. The veteran tight end's touchdown was his third of the season, and he's now posted at least three receptions in three of the last four contests. Akins should continue to profile as an occasional red-zone threat during a Week 16 road matchup versus the Titans on Saturday afternoon.

  • Cole Kmet TE | CHI

Bears' Cole Kmet: Team-high four catches in Week 15

Kmet caught four of five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Eagles.

Kmet led the team in targets and catches, but the tight end failed to break free for a gain longer than seven yards. A five-touchdown surge over a three-game span from Weeks 8-10 accounts for all of Kmet's scores in 31 appearances since the start of last season. Kmet and the Bears will host the Bills in Week 16.

  • Brock Wright TE | DET

Lions' Brock Wright: Collects game-winning touchdown

Wright caught one of two targets for 51 yards with one touchdown during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Jets.

Wright wasn't involved in the passing game until the fourth quarter, when he dropped a wide-open pass on the final offensive drive before galloping half the field for the go-ahead touchdown on fourth down. It will be interesting to see if this demonstration of his receiving upside will allow Wright to see increased opportunities down the stretch.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Double-digit catches in key win

Kelce secured all 10 targets for 105 yards in the Chiefs' 30-24 overtime win over the Texans on Sunday.

While he didn't visit the end zone, Kelce still turned in a rewarding performance for fantasy managers by co-leading the Chiefs in receptions and setting the pace in receiving yardage. The All-Pro tight end's game-long reception was for a relatively modest 18 yards, so he certainly worked hard for everything he put on the stat sheet. Kelce recorded half his receptions in the second half, and he now has five 100-yard tallies on the season going into a Week 16 home showdown against the Seahawks on Saturday afternoon.

  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Not targeted Sunday

Freiermuth was not targeted in Sunday's 24-16 win over the Panthers.

Freiermuth's previous season low for targets was four, so Sunday's lack of involvement from quarterback Mitch Trubisky certainly came as a surprise. Following an uncharacteristic goose egg, Freiermuth will now wait to see whether rookie Kenny Pickett (concussion) can return for Week 16's game versus the Raiders.

  • Adam Trautman TE | DEN

Saints' Adam Trautman: Playing in Week 15

Trautman (ankle) is listed as active Sunday versus the Falcons, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Trautman experienced a season-high 80 percent snap share Week 13 with fellow tight end Juwan Johnson (ankle) sidelined, but it didn't translate to the box score (two catches for 28 yards on three targets). Following the Saints' Week 14 bye, Trautman and Johnson had their practice reps capped Wednesday through Friday and entered the weekend as questionable due to respective ankle issues, but both will be available to the offense Sunday. Johnson's overall 31-349-5 line on 49 targets this season gives him a leg up in terms of fantasy, as Trautman himself has mustered a 16-173-1 tally on 19 targets.

  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Back in the fold Sunday

Johnson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Coming off his only absence of the season Week 13 due to an ankle injury, Johnson used the Saints' Week 14 bye to get healthier, which resulted in limited sessions Wednesday through Friday and a questionable designation for Week 15. Fellow tight end Adam Trautman (ankle) experienced the same regimen and designation, but in the end both players will be available Sunday. Johnson has been the better pass catcher of the two this season, recording a cumulative 31-349-5 line on 49 targets in 12 appearances.

  • Foster Moreau TE | HOU

Raiders' Foster Moreau: Headed back to No. 2 role

Moreau is expected to move back to the No. 2 role at tight end Sunday against the Patriots after the Raiders activated Darren Waller (hamstring) from injured reserve Saturday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Even if Waller is some kind of snap-count restriction in his first game since Week 5, his return in any capacity is still likely to push Moreau off the fantasy radar in most leagues. While serving as the Raiders' starting tight end in each of the team's last eight games, Moreau played at least 90 percent of the offensive snaps on every occasion while stringing together a 19-242-2 receiving line on 37 targets. In the three games this season in which both he and Waller have been available, Moraeu has handled snap shares between 32 and 62 percent while drawing eight total targets.

  • Dawson Knox TE | BUF

Bills' Dawson Knox: Season-high 98 yards

Knox recorded six receptions on eight targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 32-29 win over the Dolphins.

Knox paced the team in both receptions and yards, and the performance marked only the second time he caught more than five passes in a game this season. He also delivered a season-best 98 yards on the strength of long gains of 45 and 21 yards. Knox also delivered a five-yard touchdown reception early in the fourth quarter, his fourth of the season and second in as many games. While this was a positive performance, Knox entered the contest having racked up only 58 yards across his last three matchups combined.

  • David Njoku TE | LAC

Browns' David Njoku: Musters only 28 yards

Njoku recorded three catches on six targets for 28 yards in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Ravens.

Njoku tied Amari Cooper for the team lead in targets, though he couldn't take advantage of his opportunity. His longest catch of the day went for only 13 yards, and he now has under 30 receiving yards in three of his last four games. Despite the lack of production, Njoku has racked up 25 targets in that span, a good indication that he remains heavily involved in the Cleveland offense.
