Brian Thomas Jr. WR | JAC
Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Active as expected in Week 9
Thomas (chest) is active for Sunday's Week 9 game against the Eagles.
The star rookie practiced in a limited fashion all week and was believed to be trending toward active status, which now is official. Thomas will have a chance to enjoy his largest target opportunity share yet, considering Christian Kirk (IR, collarbone) and Gabe Davis (inactive, shoulder) are unavailable and Jacksonville could well have to eventually adopt a pass-heavy approach in a game in which it's a significant road underdog.

Gabe Davis WR | BUF
Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Inactive Sunday
Davis (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Davis logged limited practices this past week before approaching the contest listed as questionable. With Christian Kirk (collarbone) out for the season and Davis sidelined, Brian Thomas (who had been listed as questionable with a chest injury as well, but is active Sunday) is in a position to lead the Jaguars' Week 9 wideout corps, with added opportunities in the team's passing game available for fellow wideouts Parker Washington and Tim Jones, along with tight ends Evan Engram and Brenton Strange.

Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Exits Sunday's game
Legette exited Sunday's game against the Saints with a hand injury, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Prior to his exit, Legette caught both of his targets for three yards and a TD and carried once for six yards. In his absence, Jalen Coker, David Moore, Jonathan Mingo and Deven Thompkins are available at wideout for the Panthers.

Drake London WR | ATL
Falcons' Drake London: Ruled out of Sunday's game
London (hip) won't return to Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Late in the first quarter, London visited the sideline tent and eventually was deemed questionable to return. While he tested out his hip on the stationary bike in the meantime, he was deemed unable to reenter the contest at halftime. London will end Week 9 with two catches (on two targets) for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. WR | DET
Saints' Cedrick Wilson: Injures shoulder Sunday
Wilson exited Sunday's game at Carolina due to a shoulder injury.
Prior to his departure in the second quarter, Wilson hauled in his only target for 18 yards. In a game in which fellow WR Chris Olave (concussion) also left early following a scary hit, the Saints are down to Mason Tipton, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jermaine Jackson at the position.

Drake London WR | ATL
Falcons' Drake London: Exits Sunday's game
London was forced out of Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to a hip injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Prior to his exit from the contest, London caught both of his targets for 27 yards and a TD. In his absence, Darnell Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud, KhaDarel Hodge and Casey Washington are available to handle the Falcons' wideout duties.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Sustains concussion Sunday
Olave will not return to Sunday's game against the Panthers after sustaining a concussion.
Olave was carted off the field Sunday after taking a hard hit. Per a statement released by the team, the wideout has movement in all extremities and is undergoing further evaluation at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Carted off field Sunday
Olave (undisclosed) was carted off the field during Sunday's game at Carolina, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
In the middle of the first quarter, Olave was on the receiving end of a pass from QB Derek Carr and was sandwiched between two Panthers defenders. Olave then remained motionless on the turf and was tended to by the Saints' medical and training staffs before being carted off the field.

Khalil Shakir WR | BUF
Bills' Khalil Shakir: Could be team's top wideout Sunday
Shakir, receiver Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid are expected to operate as quarterback Josh Allen's primary options in the passing game Sunday against the Dolphins due to Amari Cooper (wrist) being inactive for the contest, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
The absence of Cooper may not necessarily result in an improved outlook for Shakir in Week 9; the third-year wideout had actually posted his two highest catch and target totals of the season (7-65-0 receiving line on seven targets in Week 7, 9-107-0 on 10 targets in Week 8) in the Bills' first two games following the acquisition of Cooper from the Browns. That being said, the opportunity for Shakir to play more snaps should be available with Cooper out of the mix, and if the Bills find themselves in a negative game script and end up eschewing the run in the second half, Shakir would presumably benefit to some degree.

Charlie Jones WR | CIN
Bengals' Charlie Jones: Sitting out Sunday
Jones (groin) is inactive for Sunday's Week 9 battle against the Raiders.
Jones popped up on the injury report with a groin injury Thursday and wasn't able to practice Friday. That wasn't a good sign heading into the weekend, and the second-year wideout is now set to miss his first game this season. Jones' absence will be felt particularly in the return game, as he's been handling kickoff and punt returns for the Bengals, and notched a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Week 7 against Cleveland. Trenton Irwin and/or Chase Brown may be asked to return kicks in Jones' stead Sunday.
