Cobb (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Cobb didn't practice Wednesday coming out of the Jets' Week 7 bye, then logged limited participation in practices Thursday and Friday. If the veteran slot receiver sits Sunday, rookies Xavier Gipson and Jason Brownlee would be the top candidates for additional snaps with New York having traded wide receiver Mecole Hardman to Kansas City last week.

Robinson (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Jets, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

The Giants continue to limit Robinson's practice workloads even though he hasn't missed a game or suffered a setback since his Week 3 debut. He's bounced back from the torn ACL that cut short his 2022 campaign to reclaim his role as the primary slot receiver, averaging 4.6 catches for 32.6 yards on 5.4 targets per game (85.2 percent catch rate, 7.1 yards per catch). Robinson still isn't getting many snaps in two-receiver formations or many targets downfield, limiting his fantasy relevance to deeper PPR formats for the time being.

The NFL placed Ross on the commissioner's exempt list Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Ross's placement on the list comes after the wideout was arrested Monday for misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor property damage. For as long as Ross remains on the list, he's not permitted to practice or play, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN.com. He won't be available for Sunday's game in Denver, and his absence from the team could continue for as long his legal situation remains unresolved.

Samuel (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Samuel seems to be on track to play, having missed just one practice this week before returning to the field Thursday as a limited participant. If he were to end up inactive ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, the Commanders likely would turn to Dyami Brown as their No. 3 receiver, which might also mean more slot snaps for Terry McLaurin and/or Jahan Dotson.

Goodwin (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

Goodwin was spotted at practice Friday after sitting out entirely Wednesday and Thursday, so he seems to be progressing in his recovery from a back injury. Still, the receiver's Week 8 status remains up in the air and likely won't be determined until the Browns release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff.

Shenault (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Shenault suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 6 against the Dolphins, and Carolina's Week 7 bye didn't afford him enough recovery time. Without Shenault available to handle a change-of-pace role out of the backfield, a few extra touches could go to Miles Sanders and Chuba Hubbard, who are expected to split carries. Shenault's next chance to suit up will come Week 9 against the Colts on Nov. 5.

Johnson (hamstring) was present for Friday's practice, Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Johnson didn't practice Thursday, so his return to the field a day later bodes well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Jaguars. The Steelers' final Week 8 injury report will be released later Friday and will reveal whether the wideout heads into the weekend with an injury designation.

Head coach Doug Pederson said Friday that he doesn't expect Jones (knee) to be available for Sunday's game against the Steelers, John Shipley of SI.com reports.

Jones has appeared in only one of the team's last five games and had to exit that game early after aggravating the knee injury. With the Jaguars on bye Week 9, Jones' next chance to suit up would come Nov. 12 against the 49ers, assuming he sits out Sunday. Jones' status for Sunday's game will be confirmed when the Jaguars release their final Week 8 injury report later Friday, but anyone who had been hoping to deploy the wide receiver in fantasy lineups should start lining up alternatives.

Goodwin (back) is on the field for the start of Friday's practice, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Goodwin missed practice Wednesday and Thursday this week with a back injury, so it's encouraging to see him back on the field Friday. The veteran wideout has made big plays in the running game in back-to-back weeks, though he remains in a depth role on offense. Friday's practice report will reveal Goodwin's official injury designation heading into Sunday's road matchup against the Seahawks.

Coach Robert Saleh said Friday that Charles (shoulder) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Charles has suited up for each of the Jets' last two games, handling a depth role on offense while also contributing on special teams, but it looks like he will need to sit out Sunday's matchup. If so, his next chance to take the field would be Week 9 versus the Chargers.
