  • Buccaneers' Jalen McMillan: Limited at walkthrough

McMillan (neck) was limited in Wednesday's walkthrough.

McMillan suffered a major scare preseason Week 2 when he was upended while making a leaping catch and fell hard on his neck and helmet. He sustained three neck fractures and significant ligament damage in his neck that forced him to wear a neck brace for a long stretch of time. Now that he's been designated for return from injured reserve and actually mixed into some drills, McMillan has a chance to return to action as soon as Sunday's game against the Saints, but the Buccaneers instead may be more focused on ramping up his activity level with an aim to get him back beyond Week 14.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

    Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Limited walkthrough

Godwin (fibula) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough.

At this point, Godwin's practice restrictions are merely related to maintenance as he tends to a lingering fibula injury. He's coming off his best performance of the season (3-78-0 on five targets) this past Sunday against the Cardinals, and he may soon be joined by one or both of Mike Evans (collarbone) and Jalen McMillan (neck) in the receiving corps after they were limited Wednesday after being designated for return from injured reserve. Friday's injury report will reveal if either of them have a chance to play Sunday against the Saints, while Godwin himself likely will be cleared before that point.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Limited again Wednesday

Reed (foot/shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

Since the Packers opened his 21-day practice window Nov. 21, Reed has been listed as limited on five consecutive injury reports, but the long-awaited full practice hasn't come to pass because, as coach Matt LaFleur told Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com on Monday, the third-year pro hasn't received medical clearance to be able to play. Reed will attempt to do so Thursday and/or Friday, while fellow WRs Matthew Golden (wrist, LP), Dontayvion Wicks (ankle, LP) and Savion Williams (foot, DNP) also showed up on Green Bay's initial practice report of Week 14 prep.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Dealing with ankle injury

Wicks (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.

Since suffering a calf injury Week 7 at Arizona, Wicks sat out Weeks 8 and 9 and otherwise was listed on Packers practice reports with that health concern. This week, calf has been swapped for ankle, leaving his status up in the air ahead of Sunday's game versus the Bears. Fellow WRs Matthew Golden (wrist) and Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder, IR) also were limited Wednesday, while Savion Williams (foot) didn't practice, which means Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath and Bo Melton are the healthy options at the position on the active roster at the moment.

  • Packers' Matthew Golden: Stays limited Wednesday

Golden (wrist) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday.

Golden has missed back-to-back games and three of the last four due to shoulder and wrist injuries. He's been listed with only the latter concern the last two weeks, but he has yet to be anything more than a limited participant during that time. He likely will need to get back to full participation in order to avoid a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Bears.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Rams' Davante Adams: DNP due to hamstring issue

Coach Sean McVay said Adams won't practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, but he expects the veteran wide receiver to play Sunday in Arizona, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

This is a new health concern for Adams, who currently is on a six-game TD streak during which he has 11 end-zone visits. Outside of touchdowns, he's put together 26 catches (on 44 targets) for 293 yards in that stretch, so he's relatively dependent on the all-important category for his fantasy appeal at the moment. That aside, Adams will have a pair of chances this week to prove his health before the Rams potentially give him a designation ahead of the weekend.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Limited at walkthrough

Evans (collarbone) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough.

The Buccaneers designated Evans for return from injured reserve earlier Wednesday, and coach Todd Bowles spoke on the wide receiver's current level of health, telling Brianna Dix of the team's official site, "Physically, he is fine. He's been running and everything. ... We have to see him in the football atmosphere, running routes pattern-wise. He has to get acclimated to that, so it will be good to see him tomorrow." That seems to indicate Tampa Bay has an official practice on deck Thursday, after which the team seemingly will have a better read on Evans' status. As for the rest of the offense, all of QB Baker Mayfield (left shoulder), RB Bucky Irving (shoulder) and WRs Chris Godwin (fibula) and Jalen McMillan (neck, IR) were limited participants to begin Week 14 prep.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Still dealing with back injury

Olave (back) didn't practice Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Olave was able to play this past Sunday at Miami after dealing with a back injury last week. Coach Kellen Moore said that the issue flared up for Olave after that contest, and the fourth-year pro now will have two more chances this week to mix into drills before the Saints potentially tag him with a designation for a second straight week. Despite the health concern, Olave was able to log an 87 percent snap share Week 13 on his way to four catches (on seven targets) for 47 yards and one touchdown.

  • Chimere Dike WR | TEN

Titans' Chimere Dike: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Dike (quad) was limited at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Dike was on the field for 76 percent of the Titans' snaps on offense in the team's Week 13 loss to the Jaguars, a game in which the wideout caught just one of his four targets for eight yards and carried once for one yard. Dike has two more chances to work fully before Tennessee's Week 14 injury statuses are posted Friday.

  • Jaguars' Parker Washington: Misses practice Wednesday

    Washington (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.

Washington was forced out of this past Sunday's win over the Titans after recording 24 snaps on offense. The wideout now has two more chances to practice before the Jaguars' Week 14 injury designations are released, but if Washington is limited or out this weekend against the Colts, added WR snaps alongside Brian Thomas and Jakobi Meyers would be available for the likes of Tim Patrick, Dyami Brown and practice squad member Austin Trammell.
