Wicks was targeted twice but did not catch a pass in Sunday's 38-20 victory over the Bears.

Wicks made only a blip in the box score in his first appearance as a professional, but it should be noted that the 37 offensive snaps he played were five more than any other Green Bay wideout. Wicks did not start Sunday's contest and is no higher than fourth on the depth when everyone is healthy, but both of his targets came before the game had been decided, so it appears the rookie is getting a chance to carve out a role.

Dell caught three of four targets for 34 yards and returned one punt for 14 yards in Sunday's 25-9 loss to Baltimore in Week 1.

Dell, who played 37 offensive snaps (48 percent share), saw a smaller workload than Robert Woods (58 snaps), Nico Collins (54) or Noah Brown (52). The rookie splashed during preseason action, exhibiting chemistry with quarterback C.J. Stroud, but that didn't really emerge to kick off the regular season. The two should have plenty of opportunities to connect in 2023 if the Texans continue to fall behind in games.

Berrios secured three of five targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 36-34 win over the Chargers.

Berrios clearly played behind both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as expected, but he still produced decent numbers in his Dolphins regular-season debut. River Cracraft also had three grabs on five targets, going for 40 yards and a score. More surprising, though, is that TE Durham Smythe finished second on the team in targets with seven. On days when Miami doesn't have to play from behind for nearly the entire game, Berrios and Cracraft likely won't see so many opportunities.

Gallup caught one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 40-0 rout of the Giants.

The Cowboys' passing game didn't need to do much on a night when the team's special teams and defense each scored TDs in the first quarter, and while Gallup's volume was low, no Dallas wideout had more than four targets. He still appears to be the clear No. 3 WR behind CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks, however, and tight end Jake Ferguson (seven targets Sunday) and running back Tony Pollard (three targets) also will demand their share of Dak Prescott's attention. Gallup will have better days this season, but his weekly floor will be low.

Turpin carried the ball three times for 14 yards and a touchdown and caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 40-0 win over the Giants.

Dallas coach Mike McCarthy hinted over the summer that Turpin might see more usage on offense this season, and in the first game of 2023 he saw more offensive touches than he did in all of 2022 while scoring his first NFL touchdown on a seven-yard scamper. Those touches, and the TD, did come in the fourth quarter when the game was well in hand, however. Turpin's main role for the Cowboys will continue to be as the top return man -- he gained 17 yards on two punt returns Sunday -- but getting into the end zone Week 1 should give McCarthy confidence that the second-year player can make an impact if he gets more opportunities.

Bell did not catch his lone target in Sunday's 24-3 win over Cincinnati in Week 1.

Bell was on the field for 10 plays, the same number as rookie Cedric Tillman and veteran Marquise Goodwin. The trio will make up the second tier behind Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore and Donovan Peoples-Jones. Cleveland leaned on its ground game during a rainy afternoon in Ohio, so there were limited targets for depth receivers.

Tillman played 11 snaps and was not targeted in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Bengals in Week 1.

Tillman, who was selected in the third round of the 2023 draft, made his NFL debut Sunday. He was part of the second tier of wideouts, along with Marquise Goodwin (10 snaps) and David Bell (10), none of whom made much impact on a rainy day in Cleveland.

Goodwin played only 10 offensive snaps and did not catch either of his two targets in Sunday's 24-3 win over Cincinnati in Week 1.

Goodwin was part of the second tier on the wideout depth chart, joining rookie Cedric Tillman (10 snaps) and second-year wideout David Bell (10). On a rainy afternoon in Ohio, Cleveland threw the ball just 29 times compared to 40 rushes. That's not surprising given the conditions, but the attention focused on the wideouts during the offseason suggests there will be heavier passing days ahead, which means more playing time and targets for receivers. There may be opportunities down the road for Goodwin to stretch the field.

Peoples-Jones caught one of two targets for 12 yards and returned three punts for 15 yards in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Bengals in Week 1.

Peoples-Jones led the wideouts in offensive snaps (64, 89 percent share) but was behind both Amari Cooper (seven targets) and Elijah Moore (seven) in terms of opportunities. The Browns didn't unveil any new focus on their passing attack, as the ground game behind Nick Chubb and Jerome Ford reasserted its dominance on a rainy day in Cleveland. The team's run/pass mix favored the rush, 58 percent to 42 percent.

Slayton had three catches (five targets) for 15 yards in Sunday's 40-0 loss to Dallas.

Slayton started for the Giants to kick off the regular season after being held out of most preseason action. That's where the good news ends, as the veteran did little with his five targets Sunday. The Giants looked outmatched against the Cowboys this week, but that is unlikely to be the case against the Cardinals next Sunday, so improved play from the team as a whole can be expected.
