  • Texans' Brandin Cooks: Practices, should play Week 10

Cooks (wrist) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Cooks' limited showing was his first recorded practice activity since Oct. 31, which came one day before the NFL's trade deadline. The veteran wideout expressed some dissatisfaction about staying put in Houston in the aftermath of the deadline and ultimately sat out the Texans' loss to the Eagles last Thursday, but he reported back to the team facility Friday and seems to have temporarily mended his relationship with the organization. Cooks is still showing up on the Texans' injury report with the wrist issue that first cropped up Week 8, but all signs point to him making his return to the lineup this Sunday against the Giants. Offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton seemed to verify as much Thursday, telling Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle that he expects the veteran wideout to be "ready to go" for the Week 10 matchup.

  • Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR

Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Lands on IR

The Raiders placed Renfrow (oblique) on injured reserve Thursday.

Las Vegas also moved tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) to IR, leaving tight endFoster Moreau and receivers Mack Hollins, Keelan Cole (knee) and DJ Turner as candidates to see added pass-catching opportunities in the coming weeks. Renfrow isn't eligible to return to action before Week 14, when the Raiders face the Rams.

  • Noah Brown WR | LV

Cowboys' Noah Brown: Logs limited session Thursday

Brown (foot) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Prior to sitting out Week 8 due to a foot injury, Brown didn't practice at all, so his ability to string together back-to-back capped sessions following the Cowboys' Week 9 bye is a positive sign for his upcoming availability. Friday's practice report could provide a clearer picture for his odds to suit up Sunday in Green Bay, and if he ends up active he'll continue to serve as the team's No. 3 wide receiver behind CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Stays limited at practice

Lazard (shoulder) was limited in practice Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Lazard maintained his activity level from the first session of Week 10 prep, as did running back Aaron Jones (ankle), while quarterback Aaron Rodgers (right thumb) and fellow wide receiver Sammy Watkins (knee) joined them after sitting out Wednesday. With rookie WR Romeo Doubs expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks due to a high-ankle sprain, Lazard and any other skill-position player that's available is in line for additional targets. First, though, Lazard will have one more chance to practice in full before potentially getting a designation for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys.

  • Texans' Phillip Dorsett: Upgrades to full practice

Dorsett (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.

Dorsett's full workout Thursday puts him in line to suit up Sunday against the Giants, but the receiver could be in line for a more muted role after compiling 10 targets between the past two contests while playing more than three-quarters of the Texans' snaps on offense in both of those games. Houston's top two wideouts -- Nico Collins (chest) and Brandin Cooks (wrist) -- both sat out the team's Week 9 loss to the Eagles, but the two were able to practice Thursday in a limited capacity and are seemingly trending toward returns to the lineup this weekend.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Maintains limited practice activity

Collins (groin) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Collins has sat out the Texans' last two games, but his consecutive limited practices to kick off Week 10 prep seemingly have him trending in the right direction as Sunday's game against the Giants approaches. In order to avoid carrying a designation into that contest, however, Collins will likely need to graduate to full participation in Friday's practice.

  • Davante Adams WR | LAR

Raiders' Davante Adams: Target share could increase

Adams will be a candidate to see more work out of the slot in the weeks to come with the Raiders placing Hunter Renfrow (oblique) on injured reserve Thursday, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.

Adams has already earned a massive 31 percent of the Raiders' targets this season, but his looks in the passing offense could climb even further while Renfrow and top tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) are sidelined for at least the next four games with both players headed for injured reserve. Foster Moreau will absorb the majority of Waller's snaps and targets, but the Raiders are left with an unimpressive collection of depth wideouts in Mack Hollins, Keelan Cole and DJ Turner to pick up work in place of Renfrow. While all three of those depth options should see their profiles on offense expand to some extent, Adams could also build on his season-long average of 10.6 targets per game, especially if he sees more work in the slot, where the Raiders would be able to more easily manufacture catchable short-yardage passes for him than if he were playing on the perimeter. While monstrous outings like the 10-146-2 receiving line on 17 targets that Adams turned in Week 9 against the Jaguars shouldn't be expected to be the norm, the absences of Renfrow -- and to a lesser extent, Waller -- at least boosts Adams' odds of replicating that level of production.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Raiders' Mack Hollins: Likely to step in as No. 2 wideout

Hollins could see more opportunities in the Las Vegas passing attack during the next four games while the Raiders are without Hunter Renfrow (oblique), who will be placed on injured reserve Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Tashan Reed of The Athletic posits that the Raiders could deploy Davante Adams more frequently in the slot in Renfrow's stead to help manufacture more catchable targets for their top wideout, but in any case, Renfrow's impending absence is a positive development for Hollins, who has been a tertiary member of the passing attack for most of the season. In addition to Renfrow, Darren Waller (hamstring) is also headed to IR, though fellow tight end Foster Moreau could prove to be more of a one-for-one replacement for him in terms of both snaps and targets. Even with Adams primed to perhaps dominate the looks from quarterback Derek Carr to an even greater extent, there could be enough room for Hollins to make a more consistent weekly impact. Notably, Hollins' best game of the season came in one of the two contests that Renfrow had previously missed back in Week 3. During that 24-22 loss to the Titans, Hollins reeled in eight of 11 targets for 158 yards and a touchdown.

  • Russell Gage WR | SF

Buccaneers' Russell Gage: Another DNP on Thursday

Gage (hamstring) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.

With no noticeable on-field work since suffering a hamstring injury Week 7 at Carolina, Gage seems to be trending toward a third consecutive absence Sunday versus the Seahawks in Munich. Friday's practice report may confirm as much, and if he indeed sits out this weekend, Scotty Miller, Breshad Perriman and Jaelon Darden will be the Buccaneers' depth receivers behind the top three of Mike Evans (ribs/ankle), Chris Godwin and Julio Jones (rest/knee).

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Stays limited Thursday

Evans (ribs/ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.

Evans maintained his activity level from Wednesday as he deals with a pair of injuries. The Buccaneers will travel to Munich on Thursday evening ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, so Thursday's session may be his last on-field work of Week 10. In the end, Friday's practice report will reveal whether Evans goes into the weekend with or without a designation.
