Stefon Diggs WR | WAS
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Excels in tough matchup
Diggs corralled six of eight targets for 108 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Packers.
The matchup between Diggs and Jaire Alexander was highlighted prior to Sunday night's tilt, and the billing lived up to the hype after the two star players were locked in a heated verbal and physical battle from start to finish. Diggs got the last laugh after producing his third straight 100-plus yard performance with a touchdown in a victory for his squad. The 28-year-old now boasts a massive 55/764/7 line through seven games. Diggs is as good as WR1s come heading into a matchup against the Jets next Sunday.

Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Seahawks' Marquise Goodwin: Four catches against Giants
Goodwin caught four of five targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Giants.
The veteran speedster appeared to be headed for much more significant usage earlier in the week as Tyler Lockett (hamstring/ribs) and DK Metcalf (knee) barely practiced and seemed questionable at best to play. Both were able to suit up after all, relegating Goodwin to his usual No. 3 role, but he was still able to tie his season high in receptions -- although this time, they didn't come with two TDs as they did last week. Unless one of Seattle's top two receiving options suffers a setback, expect Goodwin to be a secondary weapon again in Week 9 against the Cardinals.
-
Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Hauls in game-winning TD
Lockett caught five of eight targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Giants.
The veteran wideout was questionable to even play in this one due to multiple injuries, and while Lockett was able to tough them out, he didn't appear to be 100 percent and dropped a couple passes early. He more than made up for his miscues though, hauling in a 33-yard pass from Geno Smith midway through the fourth quarter that broke a 13-13 tie. Lockett wound up leading Seattle in receiving yards, but he'll likely have his practice workload capped to give him extra time to heal up ahead of a Week 9 clash with the Cardinals.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Seven total touches
Samuel recorded three receptions on four targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 17-16 win over the Colts. He added four rushes for 29 yards.
Samuel saw a downturn in involvement as a pass catcher, primarily due to Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic combining to account for 12 targets. Nevertheless, Samuel was very efficient as a receiver, tallying receptions of 20, 18 and 12 yards. He also remained involved as a rusher and has at least three carries in four of eight games on the campaign. Despite the positives, Samuel could see his role further decrease once Jahan Dotson (hamstring) is able to return.
-
DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Scores TD against Giants
Metcalf caught six of 10 targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Giants.
What a difference a week makes. Metcalf appeared headed for a potentially lengthy absence after he was carted off the field last week with a knee injury, but instead he shook it off, got in a limited practice Friday and then snagged a three-yard strike from Geno Smith early in the second quarter Sunday to open the scoring. The fourth-year wideout wound up leading Seattle in targets on the afternoon, and while his longest catch went for only 15 yards, he didn't appear to be overly bothered by his knee. Even so, expect Metcalf to have his practice reps limited again ahead of a Week 9 clash with the Cardinals.
-
Alec Pierce WR | IND
Colts' Alec Pierce: Leads Colts in receiving yards
Pierce recorded three receptions on five targets for 65 yards in Sunday's 17-16 loss to the Commanders.
Pierce's line isn't all that impressive on its own, but he made a couple of athletic catches and was regularly targeted deep down the field. His performance was highlighted by a 47-yard catch, the Colts' longest play from scrimmage. While the switch from Matt Ryan to Sam Ehlinger at quarterback could hurt the likes of Michael Pittman and Jonathan Taylor, Pierce is one potential beneficiary due to the relative arm strength of each signal-caller combined with Pierce's role in the offense.
-
Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Held to two grabs Sunday
Robinson caught two of three targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Seahawks.
The promising rookie was coming off two solid performances in a row, but Robinson wasn't able to make an impact on an afternoon during which the entire Giants offense struggled. He'll look to recharge his batteries over a Week 9 bye, and if the team's passing game can find another gear in the second half, Robinson figures to be one of the main beneficiaries.
-
Darius Slayton WR | IND
Giants' Darius Slayton: Five catches against Seattle
Slayton caught five of six targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Seahawks.
He led the Giants in receptions and receiving yards, but the team's offense as a whole sputtered, particularly after halftime. Slayton has turned his season -- and maybe his career -- around over the last month, hauling in 15 of 22 targets for 221 yards and a touchdown in the last four games heading into New York's Week 9 bye.
-
Phillip Dorsett WR | LV
Texans' Phillip Dorsett: Does little with five targets
Dorsett caught one of five targets for six yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Titans.
With Nico Collins (groin) sidelined, Dorsett saw a season high in targets but wasn't able to get on the same page as quarterback Davis Mills. No. 1 wideout Brandin Cooks is rumored to be on the trade block, so even if Collins is back in action next week against the Eagles, Dorsett could still find himself in a starting role and with an opportunity to develop some chemistry with Mills in the second half.
-
Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Four grabs in Sunday's loss
Cooks caught four of six targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to the Titans.
He was the only player on either team to top 26 receiving yards, as Derrick Henry and the Tennessee running game dominated and neither quarterback produced much. Cooks at least left a positive impression on potential suitors with the trade deadline approaching, and he's caught at least four passes in four straight games heading into a Week 9 clash with the Eagles -- assuming that he's still on the Houston roster.
