Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Out for divisional battle
Collins (groin) was downgraded Saturday and will not play Sunday against the Titans.
Collins didn't practice all week due to a groin injury, but there still was some hope the second-year starter would be able to suit up Sunday. With Collins sidelined, Phillip Dorsett and Chris Moore could see an increased role, and that's without the possible absence of Brandin Cooks, who is also questionable for Sunday's contest due to a wrist injury (and a flurry of trade rumors to boot).

Stanley Berryhill III WR | DET
Lions' Stanley Berryhill: Could make season debut
Detroit elevated Berryhill from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday for Sunday's matchup against Miami.
Berryhill joined the Lions' practice squad in mid-October after being cut by Arizona and will have a chance to make his season debut in Week 8 after being elevated to the active roster. Amon-Ra St. Brown (concussion) is questionable, but even if Detroit is without its top wideout, it's unlikely Berryhill sees a large enough offensive role to be fantasy relevant.
-
Maurice Alexander WR | CHI
Lions' Maurice Alexander: Elevated to active roster again
Detroit elevated Alexander from its practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against Miami.
With Amon-Ra St. Brown (concussion) questionable, Alexander and Stanley Berryhill have both been elevated for Week 8. Alexander has been on the active roster for each of Detroit's past three games, but he's failed to see a target across five offensive snaps.

Cade Johnson WR | SEA
Seahawks' Cade Johnson: Elevated for Week 8
Seattle elevated Johnson from its practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's matchup against the Giants, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Johnson signed a practice-squad deal with Seattle after being waived ahead of the 53-man roster deadline and could suit up for his first game in Week 8. The elevation makes sense, seeing as Penny Hart (hamstring) is unlikely to play and DK Metcalf (knee) and Tyler Lockett (hamstring) are questionable, but until the aforementioned trio's availability becomes official, it's unclear how big of a role Johnson will have against New York.

Braylon Sanders WR | WAS
Dolphins' Braylon Sanders: Will suit up at Detroit
Miami elevated Sanders from its practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game at the Lions, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Sanders is set to make his NFL debut in Week 8. The rookie UDFA from Ole Miss has enough speed (4.48-second 40) to burn a defense that isn't playing honest, but he's not likely to see many snaps right away, if any.
-
River Cracraft WR | WAS
Dolphins' River Cracraft: Won't play at Detroit
Cracraft (neck) is listed as out for Sunday's game at the Lions, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Cracraft will miss his first game of the 2022 season in Week 8. His absence should open up more opportunities for Cedrick Wilson, who's seen only limited reps up to this point in the campaign.
-
Van Jefferson WR | WAS
Rams' Van Jefferson: Activated as expected
Jefferson (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday and will play in the divisional Week 8 contest against the 49ers.
Head coach Sean McVay said Jefferson would be activated off injured reserve and is expected to play upward of 90 percent of the offensive snaps, so Saturday's designation comes as no surprise. Expect the 2020 second-round pick to push out Ben Skowronek from three wide-receiver sets if Jefferson does see his typical workload.
-
Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Not expected to land on IR
Head coach Zac Taylor stated Chase (hip) is not expected to go on injured reserve, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Given the initial prognosis was the dynamic receiver would likely miss at least four weeks after suffering a hip injury, this is certainly an interesting announcement. It likely helps that the Bengals have a Week 10 bye, which theoretically buys another week of recovery for Chase that would otherwise not count had he been placed on IR. Expect Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins to be prominent figures in the team's passing attack for however long Chase is sidelined.
-
Jaelon Darden WR | SEA
Buccaneers' Jaelon Darden: Continues shining on returns
Darden returned two punts for 33 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Darden once again was a non-factor on offense but continued to shine in his punt returner role. The second-year speedster ripped off runbacks of 18 and 15 yards, pushing his average in that category to a stellar 10.7 yards per return.
-
Scott Miller WR | CHI
Buccaneers' Scotty Miller: Another two catches Thursday
Miller brought in both targets for 13 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-22 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Miller recorded his second straight two-catch effort, which, while not exactly noteworthy, at least gives him a semblance of relevance in a struggling offense. Miller has four multi-catch efforts overall this season and logged 19 snaps Thursday night, and while he might be a slightly better fringe Buccaneers fantasy option than Breshad Perriman, he's still unlikely to gain any true relevance unless multiple injuries strike the receiving corps.
