  • Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Limited Wednesday

Shenault was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice due to a hamstring issue.

Shenault missed Weeks 5 and 6 due to a hamstring injury and only played two offensive snaps during Week 7, catching his lone target for eight yards. It's unclear if he aggravated his previous issue, or the team is simply being cautious. Regardless, Shenault will have two more opportunities to log a full session before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons.

  • Mike Williams WR | LAC

Chargers' Mike Williams: Likely out at least four weeks

The Chargers expect Williams (ankle) to miss a minimum of four weeks, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

The wideout thus stands to miss multiple games despite suffering his high-ankle sprain right before a Week 8 bye. The Chargers also have wideouts Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) banged up at the moment, and they have already lost Jalen Guyton (knee) for the season. Given his estimated recovery timeline, Williams could be placed on injured reserve once the Chargers have a chance to re-evaluate him following the bye week.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Practicing on limited basis

Watson (hamstring) will be a limited practice participant Wednesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Watson is logging practice reps for the first time since he re-injured his right hamstring in a Week 5 loss to the Giants. The Packers may need Watson's help soon enough, with Randall Cobb (ankle) on injured reserve and Allen Lazard now hampered by a shoulder injury.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

    Commanders' Dyami Brown: Limited Wednesday

Brown (groin) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Brown didn't suit up for Washington's Week 7 win over Green Bay due to a groin issue he picked up a week prior, but he's returned to practice in a limited fashion ahead of Week 8. However, the second-year wideout will likely have to log at least one full session over the next two days to be cleared for Sunday's matchup against the Colts.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Uncertain for Week 8

Lazard (shoulder) won't practice Wednesday, with head coach Matt LaFleur noting that he's unsure if the wideout will miss any games, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Lazard played a couple more snaps after hurting his shoulder in Sunday's loss to Washington, but he ultimately came out of the game and was then spotted in a sling Monday. The Packers' receiver group has already been less than stellar this season, sparking rumors that an upgrade could be coming via trade. The healthy options behind Lazard are slumping rookie starter Romeo Doubs, Sammy Watkins, Samori Toure and Amari Rodgers, while Christian Watson is nursing a hamstring injury and Randall Cobb is on injured reserve with an ankle sprain.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Lions' Josh Reynolds: Still bothered by knee

Reynolds (knee) isn't practicing Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Reynolds played through an ankle injury Weeks 4 and 5 and topped 80 yards in both games, but after a Week 6 bye, he was affected by a knee issue and managed only two targets and eight yards in a loss to Dallas this past Sunday. The 27-year-old played 80 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 7 loss, and he'll have a better matchup this Sunday at home against the Dolphins. With DJ Chark (ankle) on injured reserve, Amon-Ra St. Brown in the concussion protocol and Jameson Williams (knee) reportedly out at least another month, Reynolds should see plenty of snaps for as long as he can avoid setbacks with the lingering ankle injury.

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Not able to practice

Dotson (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Dotson has missed three games in a row and reportedly suffered a setback after returning to practice last week as a limited participant. He's in danger of sitting out a fourth straight game when the Commanders face the Colts on Sunday.

  • Dolphins' Cedrick Wilson: Role should grow

Coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday that Wilson "will continue to become more featured in our offense," David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Wilson hasn't been targeted in back-to-back contests, though McDaniel said that's partially due to the rib injury he dealt with early in the season. McDaniel also said Wilson's lack of involvement is more about the fact that Trent Sherfield has been more effective with his opportunities, per Furones. Sherfield currently has a grip on the No. 3 receiver role, but if Wilson can truly progress in Miami's scheme, he could get more involved and move up the depth chart as the season continues.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Another missed practice

Toney (hamstring) isn't practicing Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Toney hasn't suited up for the Giants since Week 2 due to injuries to both of his hamstrings. Veteran Kenny Golladay (knee) is also sitting out practice Wednesday, so New York could once again have to proceed with Wan'Dale Robinson (undisclosed), Darius Slayton, David Sills and Richie James as its main options at receiver this weekend in Seattle.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Season debut not imminent

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday that Williams (knee) is at least a month away from playing, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.

Williams remains on the the reserve/NFI list, where he began the season while he continues to recover from the ACL tear he suffered in January while playing for Alabama during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. The rookie first-round pick still hasn't resumed practicing, and Campbell's latest update suggests that the earliest Williams will make his NFL debut is likely late November or early December. The Lions could also have DJ Chark (ankle) back from injured reserve by the time Williams is ready to contribute.
