Coach Sean McVay said Jefferson (knee) won't play Sunday against the Falcons, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Jefferson will miss a second consecutive game to begin the season, which should keep Ben Skowronek in an expanded role against Atlanta. McVay added that Jefferson is progressing in his recovery, but it's too early to tell whether the wide receiver will be ready to play Week 3 against the Cardinals.

Toney (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Toney battled injuries throughout his rookie season, so it's discouraging to see him banged up again early in his sophomore campaign. The 2021 first-round pick is a talented playmaker with the ball in his hands, but Toney touched the ball only twice Week 1, so he'll be tough to trust until he's given a larger role.

Coach Matt Rhule said Marshall had his best week of practice this week and added that he's "hopeful" Marshall will see the field Week 2, Ellis Williams of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Marshall didn't play a single snap in the season opener. The 2021 second-round pick doesn't appear to be injured, so Marshall seeing snaps will come down to whether or not his coach believes the wide receiver is ready to contribute.

Smith (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Smith was a late addition to the injury report after missing practice entirely Friday, but coach Matt Rhule described Smith as on the "positive" side of questionable, per David Newton of ESPN. His absence would be significant because Smith played a starting role in Carolina's season opener and was expected to return punts this week. If Smith sits out Sunday, Laviska Shenault or DJ Moore would be the leading candidates to be the Panthers' punt returner, while Terrace Marshall or Rashard Higgins could step up as the No. 3 receiver.

Pittman (quad) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Zak Keefer of The Athletic reports.

The report notes that Pittman's quad issue occurred during Wednesday's practice, and now the Colts' top wideout will approach Sunday's contest with his status in question. Fortunately for those considering Pittman -- who racked up nine catches on 13 targets in the team's season opener -- in Week 2 fantasy lineups, the team kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. Meanwhile, fellow WR Alec Pierce (concussion) has been ruled out for the contest, which figures to lead to added snaps for Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan behind Pittman (if active) and Parris Campbell.

Coach Frank Reich relayed Friday that Pierce (concussion) won't play Sunday against the Jaguars, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

With Pierce not yet able to pass through the NFL's concussion protocol, per Holder, the 2022 second-rounder will target a potential return to action Week 3. In his absence this weekend, Ashton Dulin and Mike Strachan are candidates to log added snaps versus Jacksonville.

Isabella (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Rondale Moore (hamstring) also is out, along with the suspended DeAndre Hopkins, leaving Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch as the unquestioned top three at WR this weekend. Dortch saw a team-high nine targets in the opener and again should see some looks, but Brown is the downfield threat and de facto No. 1 receiver.

Moore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

With Andy Isabella (hamstring) also ruled out, there will be no shortage of snaps available to Marquise Brown, A.J. Green and Greg Dortch, a trio that combined for 19 targets but only 119 yards in a season-opening loss to Kansas City. Moore is missing out on his best opportunity for a second-year breakout, as targets could be harder to come by late in the season if Brown, DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and TE Zach Ertz all are available at the same time.

Lazard (ankle) is scheduled to take team reps at Friday's practice, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Lazard returned to a limited practice Wednesday after missing a couple weeks, then managed another limited session Thursday. It could be more of the same Friday, though it sounds like the Packers are upping his activity level as they prepare for a matchup with the Bears on Sunday.

Coach Todd Bowles doesn't expect Godwin (hamstring) to play in Sunday's game against the Saints but also hasn't ruled out the possibility, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Godwin missed practice Wednesday and Thursday following his early exit from the season opener. Another absence Friday would all but cement his Week 2 fate, but the Bucs aren't ready to call it yet.
