  • Kaylon Geiger: Let go by Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers waived Geiger on Tuesday, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.

Geiger signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas Tech, where he caught 44 passes for 533 yards and a score during his final collegiate campaign. The 5-foot-10 wideout caught all four of his targets for 52 yards during the preseason opener but operated primarily on special teams during the final two exhibition contests. Per Auman, Geiger is a likely candidate to join Tampa Bay's practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Devon Allen WR | PHI

    Devon Allen: Waived by Philadelphia

The Eagles waived Allen on Tuesday, Matt Lombardo of Heavy on Sports reports.

Allen signed with the Eagles in April after not playing football since 2016, his third and final season at Oregon. After suffering back-to-back severe knee injuries, the speedster hung up his cleats to pursue a career as a track star. He finished fifth in the 110 meter hurdles at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and fourth at the 2020 games in Tokyo. After chasing his dream, he decided he wanted to try his hand at football again, so he participated in Oregon's Pro Day this offseason and ran a 4.35 40-yard dash, which quickly drew the attention of Philadelphia's brass. Allen caught just one pass across three preseason games, but it went for 55 yards and a score, showcasing his world-class speed. It's unclear if he'll be a practice squad candidate.

  • Derek Wright WR | CAR

Derek Wright: Let go by Carolina

The Panthers waived Wright on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Wright signed with the Panthers in May as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State, where he caught 48 passes for 789 yards and 11 touchdowns during his final collegiate campaign. Per Person, the 6-foot-1 wideout was a standout during training camp and will likely join Carolina's practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Michael Bandy WR | DEN

    Michael Bandy: Waived by Chargers

The Chargers waived Bandy on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Bandy signed a futures deal with the Chargers in January after appearing in one regular season game last year. However, he finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. If he clears waivers, he'll likely return to Los Angeles' practice squad.

  • Juwann Winfree WR | HOU

Juwann Winfree: Parts ways with Green Bay

Winfree was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Winfree failed to make the team after he caught seven passes for 75 yards this preseason. The wide receiver played in seven games with the Packers last season, catching eight passes for 58 yards on 13 targets. Winfree will likely start the 2022 campaign on a team's practice squad.

  • Dontario Drummond: Waived by Dallas

The Cowboys waived Drummond on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Drummond signed with the Cowboys in May as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss, but he finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. The 25-year-old wideout caught one of two targets for 13 yards during his only preseason game, but per Kyed, Dallas would like to sign Drummond to its practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Kyric McGowan WR | MIA

Kyric McGowan: Let go by Washington

The Commanders waived McGowan on Tuesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

McGowan signed with the Commanders in May as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech, where he caught 37 passes for 467 yards and seven touchdowns during his final collegiate campaign. McCowan caught one of six targets for 27 yards during the team's first two exhibition games but didn't suit up for the preseason finale and now finds himself among a wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline.

  • Bills' Isaiah McKenzie: Not practicing

McKenzie (undisclosed) isn't participating in practice Tuesday, Josh Reed of WIVB reports.

Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports McKenzie left practice early Saturday. It doesn't sound serious, but with Week 1 approaching he'll be on a tighter schedule now. McKenzie worked ahead of Jamison Crowder as Buffalo's No. 3 receiver this preseason, but both could have roles come Week 1 against the Rams.

  • Trishton Jackson: Waived by Vikings

Jackson was waived by the Vikings on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Jackson failed to make the Vikings' final roster after he caught five passes for 71 yards this preseason. The wide receiver has yet to make his NFL debut after going undrafted in 2019 and will likely end up starting the 2022 campaign on a new team's practice squad.

  • Jerreth Sterns WR | LAR

Buccaneers' Jerreth Sterns: Misses final roster

The Buccaneers cut Sterns on Monday, Greg Auman of the Athletic reports.

Sterns was productive in the preseason and was immensely productive for Western Kentucky in 2021, but the diminutive wideout (5-foot-7, 183 pounds) is probably restricted to the slot, where the Buccaneers presumably plan to feed Chris Godwin (knee) and Russell Gage. If the Buccaneers can pin Sterns to their practice squad, there's a good chance they do it, because even if he is limited to the slot, they could use his services if either of Godwin or Gage misses time.
