Brandon Johnson WR | LV
Broncos' Brandon Johnson: Suffers sprained ankle
Johnson suffered a sprained ankle in Saturday's game against the Vikings, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.
Johnson sustained the injury in the first quarter and the wide receiver's chances of making the final roster could now be in question. The 24-year-old has had a very strong summer, but if the injury is significant, it's possible that he ends up missing the cut.

Treylon Burks WR | WAS
Titans' Treylon Burks: Scores after injury scare
Burks caught all three of his targets for 33 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 26-23 preseason win over the Cardinals.
Burks had an eventful game, as he exited early in the contest due to a wrist injury. However, he returned to tally a 14-yard touchdown after he caught a short pass over the middle of the field and quickly turned upfield. After the contest, Burks was spotted with a wrap on his wrist, per Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com. Though the Titans presumably wouldn't have allowed him back in the game if the injury was serious, Burks' status will still be worth monitoring heading into Week 1.

Robert Woods WR | PIT
Titans' Robert Woods: Makes Titans debut
Woods caught his only target for three yards in Saturday's 26-23 preseason win over Arizona.
Woods has been ramping up his activity in practice while recovering from a torn ACL and Saturday marked his first time on the field for game action since he suffered the injury. The results weren't particularly notable, but Woods should be in line for plenty of targets -- particularly early in the season -- even in the relatively low passing volume of the Tennessee offense.

Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Solid preseason-ending effort
Pittman secured all three targets for 29 yards in the Colts' 27-10 preseason win over the Buccaneers on Saturday night.
The Colts' top target got a solid amount of opportunity to work with new quarterback Matt Ryan, recording catches on Indianapolis' first and third possessions. Pittman's last two catches came on back-to-back plays in the latter drive, the second going for 17 yards down to Tampa Bay's one-yard line to set up a short Deon Jackson rushing touchdown. Pittman should be primed for a hefty workload all season beginning with a Week 1 road divisional showdown against the Texans on Sept. 11.
-
Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Dolphins' Tyreek Hill: Showcases big-play ability
Hill recorded two receptions on two targets for 64 yards in Saturday's preseason win over the Eagles.
Hill and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa wasted no time showing off their connection, as Hill beat the secondary deep down the middle for a 51-yard gain on the first play of the game. One play later, he recorded a 13-yard catch. Though the production was meaningless Saturday, Hill should be in line for plenty of targets come the Dolphins' Week 1 matchup against New England.
-
Mike Evans WR | SF
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Only one target in preseason cameo
Evans failed to bring in his only target during the Buccaneers' 27-10 preseason loss to the Colts on Saturday night.
The multi-time Pro Bowler was making his preseason debut alongside Tom Brady, but he couldn't come up with the only pass the latter sent his way during their one possession. Evans does seem to be completely past the hamstring issues that plagued him earlier in the summer, however, and he should play a pivotal role in the Week 1 Sunday night road showdown against the Cowboys on Sept. 11.

Jalen Nailor WR | LV
Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Out with concussion
Nailor will not return to the game after suffering a concussion Saturday versus the Broncos, Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Nailor will now enter concussion protocols and can be considered questionable ahead of the Vikings' season opener versus the Packers on Sept. 11. The wide receiver was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and will likely be most commonly utilized on special teams when healthy.

Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Bears' Darnell Mooney: One catch in preseason finale
Mooney caught his only target for five yards in Chicago's preseason game against Cleveland on Saturday.
Mooney didn't have much to do in Chicago's preseason finale, but the exact opposite will be the case when the Bears kick off their regular-season schedule. As much as his Week 1 matchup against San Francisco might be less than favorable, the Bears might need to give him a good target count anyway.
-
Stanley Morgan WR | TEN
Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Plays early in preseason finale
Morgan caught one of two targets for 32 yards in Saturday's 16-7 preseason win over the Rams.
The first pass thrown Morgan's way was an incompletion on the opening drive, but it was a good sign for his standing on the depth chart that he was used early in the game. Morgan then opened the second possession with a 32-yard catch. He's likely to remain on the team in a depth role when the Bengals trim their roster down to 53 players for the regular season.
-
Lance McCutcheon WR | TEN
Rams' Lance McCutcheon: Posts another strong preseason game
McCutcheon caught five of eight targets for 76 yards in Saturday's 16-7 preseason loss to Cincinnati.
McCutcheon posted his lowest yardage total of the preseason but still easily paced the Rams in receiving yards, as no teammate had more than 28. The undrafted rookie's strong preseason has him in consideration for a roster spot, which was confirmed by coach Sean McVay in the postgame press conference, per Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Los Angeles will likely do all it can to find room for McCutcheon on the 53-man regular season roster, as trying to stash him on the practice squad would likely result in another team claiming him.
