Ben Skowronek WR | PIT
Rams' Ben Skowronek: Limited practice Thursday
Skowronek (back) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
The wide receiver opened the week with a limited estimation at Wednesday's walk-through session and followed it up with a limited effort at Thursday's first padded practice. Skowronek suffered the back injury in Monday's wild-card win over the Cardinals, and his practice status Friday will provide a clearer indication of his availability for Sunday's divisional-round contest against the Buccaneers.

Breshad Perriman WR | IND
Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: DNP on Thursday
Perriman (hip) did not practice Thursday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
The wide receiver remained unavailable for practice Thursday after also being absent Wednesday while nursing a hip issue. Perriman's reps were limited to open last week before he ramped up activity Friday, and he ultimately entered the Buccaneers' wild-card matchup versus the Eagles without an injury designation. His ability to participate at Friday's practice will provide a clearer indication of his chances to play in the team's divisional-round contest against the Rams on Sunday. If he can't go, Scotty Miller would be a likely candidate for increased snaps in the game.

Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Comes off injured reserve
The Packers activated Cobb (groin) from injured reserve Thursday.
Cobb underwent core muscle surgery during the Packers' Week 13 bye and missed the rest of the regular season. With the benefit of a first-round bye in the playoffs, his time away from the field will end at five games as he prepares for a return for Saturday's divisional-round matchup with the 49ers. Green Bay has listed Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) as doubtful to play this weekend, so Cobb should jump back into three-wide sets with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard.
-
Stanley Morgan WR | TEN
Bengals' Stanley Morgan: Questionable against Titans
Morgan (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday's divisional-round matchup against the Titans, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Morgan was unavailable for last week's wild-card win over the Raiders and was limited during each of Cincinnati's three practice sessions this week. However, his status shouldn't alter the Bengals' offensive plans ahead of Saturday's contest.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling WR | LAC
Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Likely out for divisional round
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday that Valdes-Scantling (back) will be listed as doubtful for Saturday's divisional-round game versus the 49ers, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Even with the benefit of a first-round bye for the postseason, Valdes-Scantling hasn't been able to shake off the back injury he picked up in the Packers' Week 18 loss to the Lions. He began the week as a limited participant in practice Tuesday, but he was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's session and wasn't on the field for the open portion of Thursday's practice, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Valdes-Scantling's downgrade in activity the past two days coupled with LaFleur's comments suggest that the wideout may have suffered a setback in his recovery from the injury. Allen Lazard and Equanimeous St. Brown will likely be tasked with running most of the downfield patterns that are staples of Valdes-Scantling's route tree, while Randall Cobb (groin) -- who is expected to be activated from injured reserve -- could have a regular role in three-receiver sets as Green Bay's primary slot man.

Ben Skowronek WR | PIT
Rams' Ben Skowronek: Estimated as limited participant
Skowronek (back) was estimated as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Sean McVay said Skowronek's back "locked up on him" during Monday's wild-card round win over the Cardinals, though the injury doesn't appear to be a serious concern, according to Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site. The 24-year-old wideout should be able to avoid an injury designation for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Buccaneers if he can practice fully by Friday.

Vyncint Smith WR | IND
Vyncint Smith: Works out for Buccaneers
Smith worked out for the Buccaneers on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
The 25-year-old was brought in ahead of the Buccaneers' wild-card matchup with the Rams on Sunday. With many of their wide receivers banged up, Smith could be brought in to provide another depth option behind Mike Evans this weekend.
-
Brandon Smith WR | PIT
Cowboys' Brandon Smith: Set for ankle surgery
Smith will undergo a procedure on his injured ankle Thursday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
The wide receiver appears to have finished the 2021 season with an ankle issue, which he be addressed Thursday. Smith spent the entire year on the Cowboys' practice squad, and he was not activated for any contests.
-
Javon Wims WR | CAR
Raiders' Javon Wims: Signs new contract with Raiders
The Raiders signed Wims to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.
Wims spent the 2021 season as a member of the Raiders' practice squad but was not active for any contests before being cut Tuesday. The wide receiver will now return to Las Vegas for the 2022 campaign and have another opportunity to contribute to the team's offensive gameplan.
-
Steven Sims WR | ARI
Steelers' Steven Sims: Remains with Steelers
The Steelers signed Sims to a reserve/futures contract Wednesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Sims joined the Steelers' practice squad in late September and was elevated to the active roster once during the 2021 campaign. He played just four offensive snaps in the team's Week 10 tie against the Lions and will now remain with the organization heading into the offseason.
