  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: First appearance since Week 8

Shepard (quadriceps) is active for Sunday's road game against the Chargers, Zack Rosenblatt of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Shepard is putting an end to a four-game absence due to a strained left quadriceps. In his return, he'll join forces with Kenny Golladay (ribs) at the top of the Giants' receiving corps that will be without rookie Kadarius Toney (oblique) for a third straight contest. In five appearances this season, Shepard has been fairly productive with a 32-324-1 line on 43 targets, but the Chargers defense is formidable, having given up 7.9 yards per catch (14th lowest in the NFL) and six touchdowns (second fewest) in 12 outings.

  • Tylan Wallace WR | CLE

Ravens' Tylan Wallace: Being evaluated for concussion

Wallace is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Browns.

Wallace took a hit to the head that forced him to leave the Week 14 contest in the first half. The rookie fourth-round pick has no receptions on just one target this season, so his absence shouldn't impact the Ravens' offensive gameplan.

  • Davion Davis WR | WAS

Texans' Davion Davis: Questionable to return Sunday

Davis (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Seahawks.

The 5-foot-11 wideout caught one pass for 17 yards before leaving the Week 14 contest in the first quarter with an ankle injury. If he is unable to return, then Phillip Dorsett and Chris Conley will be the most likely beneficiaries.

  • Marvin Jones WR | DET

Jaguars' Marvin Jones: Coach denies rift

Jaguars coach Urban Meyer denied a report that surfaced over the weekend that he and Jones had a big argument in practice, Fox's Jay Glazer reported on Sunday's pregame show.

Jones has been a disappointment with the Jaguars, catching just 48 passes for 540 yards and three touchdowns so far. He's obviously not solely responsible for those poor numbers, but he has had some big drops this season.

  • Dax Milne WR | CAR

Football Team's Dax Milne: Healthy scratch for Week 14

Milne (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Cowboys, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Milne will register his third straight healthy scratch in Week 14. In four games before his inactive stretch, the rookie seventh-round pick caught six passes for 65 yards. However, now that Washington's wideout room is getting healthy, Milne is on the outside looking in.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Returns Sunday

Marshall will play Sunday against the Falcons, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Marshall was a healthy scratch in Week 12 against the Dolphins. The rookie second-round selection has struggled this season, not recording a catch since Week 6 against the Vikings. He'll try to get going Sunday against the Falcons.

  • Shi Smith WR | KC

    Panthers' Shi Smith: Inactive Sunday

Smith (coach's decision) is out Sunday against the Falcons, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Smith was active in Week 12 against the Dolphins, playing 14 snaps on offense but never seeing a target. The Panthers have decided to go back to fellow wide receiver, Terrace Marshall, who was a healthy scratch in Week 12.

  • Miles Boykin WR | CHI

Ravens' Miles Boykin: Won't play Sunday

Boykin (finger) is out Sunday against the Browns, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Boykin will miss his fourth straight game with the injury. The third-year receiver's absence will lead to more potential opportunity for depth wideouts, Tylan Wallace and James Proche.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Active Sunday, may get larger role

Samuel (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Samuel was a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday and was listed as questionable heading into the weekend, but with Washington not indicating that he suffered any sort of setback in his two games since returning to action, there was little doubt the wideout would suit up Sunday. In fact, Samuel looks like he could be in store for his largest workload of the season this week, as Ben Standig of The Athletic relays that the 25-year-old is on track to see increased reps after taking the field for no more than 35 percent of the Football Team's offensive plays in any of his four appearances. Look for some of Samuel's snaps to come out of the backfield, as Washington lacks an obvious replacement for pass-catching specialist J.D. McKissic (concussion), who will be sidelined for a second straight game.

  • Titans' Dez Fitzpatrick: Sitting against Jaguars

Fitzpatrick (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Fitzpatrick has been active for each of the Titans' last three games, and he was on the field for 78 percent of offensive snaps in Week 11. However, he's slipped down the depth chart due to the return of both Julio Jones (hamstring) and Racey McMath (quadriceps). While it was expected that Fitzpatrick would lose his significant role due to the return of Jones, McMath jumping him on the depth chart comes as a surprise.
