Anthony Schwartz WR | MIA
Browns' Anthony Schwartz: Catches one ball in win
Schwartz caught his lone target for 15 yards and did not have a kick return in Sunday's 41-16 win over the Bengals.
Schwartz, who has been getting very little run on offense, did not experience an uptick in opportunities in the first game after Cleveland released wide receiver Odell Beckham. He did, however, play 28 snaps, which was more than Rashard Higgins' three. The Browns remain a run-first team, and when that is working as it did Sunday, there are few targets for depth guys like Schwartz. The rookie had been lining up as a kick returner the last six games, but those chores went to Demetric Felton on Sunday.

Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET
Saints' Tre'Quan Smith: Three more catches
Smith caught three of four targets for 53 yards during Sunday's 27-25 loss to Atlanta.
Since returning from injury in Week 7, Smith has seen a handful of targets per game, but he'll need to see a few more in order to have fantasy utility with Trevor Siemian under center. Even if Taysom Hill gets the starting nod at quarterback in Week 10, the season-ending loss of Jameis Winston (knee) was a hit to Smith's value, and it will be hard to get excited about his outlook unless he starts becoming a favorite target of either Siemian or Hill. Until then, there are probably better fantasy options to roll the dice on.
-
Marquez Callaway WR | LV
Saints' Marquez Callaway: Scores fourth TD of season
Callaway caught three of six targets for 25 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 27-25 loss to Atlanta.
Callaway had a seventh target that he dropped, but the play was nullified by a penalty. Even if it had counted, Callaway still wouldn't be averaging five targets per game on the year. While this modest volume was worth a roll of the dice when Jameis Winston (knee) was available, losing Winston for the season was a blow to Callaway's outlook, even if the indefinite absence of Michael Thomas (ankle) means Callaway won't have to share the top of the depth chart. Whether it's Trevor Siemian or Taysom Hill at quarterback for New Orleans in Week 10 against Tennessee, Callaway probably will need to find the end zone to be of use in fantasy lineups.

Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Packers' Allen Lazard: Finds end zone
Lazard caught his only target for a 20-yard touchdown against Kansas City on Sunday.
Lazard missed Green Bay's Week 8 victory over Arizona due to COVID protocols, but if not for the missed week this would have marked his third in a row with a touchdown. The bad news is that Lazard's target volume seems capped at a modest level, especially with the return of fellow wideout Marquez Valdes-Scantling from his hamstring injury. It's not clear whether Lazard will get Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19) back for their Week 10 game at home against Seattle; if not, a Jordan Love start would probably knock Lazard's projection a bit.
-
Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Leads team in receiving yards
Cobb caught three passes for 50 yards on five targets against Kansas City on Sunday.
Cobb's box score was mostly propelled by a 35-yard reception on a somewhat improvised throw from Jordan Love, which marked the longest play of the day for the Packers offense. It was encouraging to see Cobb show that in-play adjustment ability much like he does with starter Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19), yet the five targets on 34 pass attempts is a reminder that Cobb's role is that of a glue guy rather than a featured component of the Green Bay offense. It's not clear whether the Packers will get Rodgers back for a home game against Seattle in Week 10.
-
Bryan Edwards WR | NO
Raiders' Bryan Edwards: Silent against Giants
Edwards earned four targets but did not record a reception in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Giants.
Edwards was among three Raiders to record four targets, though he get couldn't get on the same page with Derek Carr. Edwards has consistently been on the field for offensive snaps this season, but he has failed to record more than three catches in all but one game. The expected addition of DeSean Jackson will only make his potential for volume more tenuous moving forward.
-
Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Difficulties with new QB
Adams caught six passes for 42 yards on 14 targets against Kansas City on Sunday.
It's not clear whether Aaron Rodgers (COVID-19) will be available for Green Bay's Week 10 game against Seattle, but it is clear that Jordan Love probably can't get Adams the ball reliably enough for Adams to maintain the dominant production he posted with Rodgers. Adams nearly had a big catch on Love's one interception -- corner L'Jarius Sneed made a great play -- and at another point Love narrowly misplaced a downfield throw after Adams easily beat the defense. It's easy to imagine a way Sunday's game could have been more fruitful for Adams, but there's no guarantee Love does better if the same situations occur in Week 10. With that said, the 14 targets is perhaps reason for optimism, because that target count made up 41.1 percent of Green Bay's targets on the day.
-
Tyreek Hill WR | MIA
Chiefs' Tyreek Hill: Ineffective on 11 targets
Hill caught four passes for 36 yards on 11 targets against Green Bay on Sunday.
Hill's targets weren't especially useful for the Chiefs in the 13-7 win, but there was only so much he could do with Patrick Mahomes struggling badly yet again, completing just 20 of 37 attempts for 166 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs have seen relatively friendly pass defenses the last three weeks (Green Bay, the Giants and Tennessee), yet Mahomes has just two touchdowns in that span and in each game averaged less than 6.0 yards per pass. Clearly there are foundational issues facing the Chiefs offense, and some sort of course correction might be necessary for them to break out of their slump. The good news for Hill is he's seen 38 targets in that span, and with his abilities that sort of usage will yield results eventually, even if the rest of the offense struggles. The Chiefs will probably give Hill another big workload when they head to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in Week 10.
-
Tim Patrick WR | NYJ
Broncos' Tim Patrick: Okay after injury scare
Patrick recorded four receptions on five targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cowboys.
Patrick was among a number of Broncos to suffer potential injuries Sunday, though it turned out that he was only suffering from cramping, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. While on the field, Patrick delivered a few big plays, highlighted by a 44-yard touchdown early in the second quarter. He has only eight targets combined between two games since the return of Jerry Jeudy, though Patrick has tallied 149 receiving yards in that span and proven to be a capable deep threat. Patrick and the Broncos will take on the Eagles in Week 10.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Sees eight targets
Jeudy recorded six receptions on eight targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cowboys.
Jeudy saw an increased workload in his second game back from a serious ankle injury, a positive sign particularly given that the Broncos were ahead for the entirety of the contest. He recorded long receptions of 25, 20 and 16 yards, with the rest of his receptions racking up minimal yardage. Jeudy should be fully ramped up heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Eagles.
