Justin Jefferson WR | MIN
Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Turns in dud on SNF
Jefferson had just two receptions (four targets) for 21 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to Dallas.
This was Jefferson's worst performance of the 2021 campaign by far. He did get banged up at one point during the game but returned to action quickly. The lack of production was likely more tied to the fact that he had to deal with second-year phenom corner Trevon Diggs for the majority of the night as Minnesota's top outside threat. The second-year wideout has otherwise been a strong fantasy contributor this season, with 41 receptions, 542 yards and three touchdowns in the six games prior to Sunday's dud. Luckily for Jefferson's managers, the wideout will get a prime opportunity to bounce back in a big way against the Ravens' 32nd-ranked pass defense next week.

Adam Thielen WR | PIT
Vikings' Adam Thielen: Leads team in receiving
Thielen had six receptions (nine targets) for 78 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Cowboys.
It was an embarrassing home loss for the Vikings against a backup quarterback, but Thielen managers can't complain after another strong showing. The veteran wideout may have lost a step or two over the past couple of seasons, but he remains Kirk Cousin's top red-zone threat, with over 15 total red-zone targets and six touchdowns through seven contests. Thielen will look to keep things rolling next Sunday against the Ravens, which currently own the worst pass defense in the league (296.1 passing yards allowed per game).

CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Churns out 112 yards in SNF win
Lamb caught six of eight targets for 112 yards in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Vikings.
Backup quarterback Cooper Rush was forced into action with Dak Prescott (calf) being ruled out prior to kickoff, but the change under center did not limit Lamb's production. It was the 22-year-old's third triple-digit receiving game this season after he recorded just two during his entire rookie campaign. The Oklahoma product continues to develop into a star fantasy asset, delivering on the potential many pegged him having when he was taken high in last year's draft. Lamb and the Cowboys will take on the Broncos next Sunday.

Amari Cooper WR | LV
Cowboys' Amari Cooper: No Dak, no problem
Cooper had eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Vikings.
Not having a top-tier quarterback like Dak Prescott (calf) healthy would normally be a huge loss for a team's receiving corps, but it turned out to be a boon for Cooper in this situation. It was the veteran wideout's first game with 100-plus yards and a touchdown since Week 1. This is a clear case of correlation not equaling causation, as Prescott obviously makes the entire Cowboys offense better as a whole. CeeDee Lamb's leap in his sophomore year is the main factor cutting into Cooper's volume this year, but both receivers were able to eat Sunday. Prescott has a good shot to return next week in a home tilt against the Broncos.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine WR | IND
Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Finds end zone
Westbrook-Ikhine recorded two receptions on three targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Colts.
Westbrook-Ikhine saw an increased role in the absence of Julio Jones (hamstring), though A.J. Brown dominated targets. Westbrook-Ikhine did manage to contribute meaningfully to the win by hauling in a five-yard touchdown midway through the third quarter. Should Jones miss game action moving forward, Westbrook-Ikhine could maintain a role in the offense, though he appears to be buried on the depth chart behind other peripheral options such as Marcus Johnson.

Courtland Sutton WR | DEN
Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Only two catches in Sunday's win
Sutton caught two of four targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over Washington.
The Broncos had what seemed to be a great matchup for their passing game against a vulnerable Washington secondary, but Sutton -- or any other Denver receiver -- wasn't able to take advantage. It's the third time this season the fourth-year wideout's been held to 40 yards or less, but Sutton may need to be a lot more productive in a Week 9 clash with the Cowboys.
-
Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Leads team in catches in return
Jeudy caught all four of his targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over Washington.
Per George Stoia III of The Denver Gazette, the receiver's ankle was sore late in the game as he saw his first action since Week 1, but Jeudy still led the Broncos in catches. Teddy Bridgewater and the passing game weren't able to take advantage of a plus matchup against Washington, but Jeudy could see bigger volume in Week 9 against the Cowboys.
-
Tim Patrick WR | NYJ
Broncos' Tim Patrick: Leads Broncos in receiving Sunday
Patrick caught all three of his targets for 64 yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over Washington.
Despite the return of Jerry Jeudy to the lineup and the continued presence of Courtland Sutton, it was Patrick who led the Broncos in receiving yards. The three targets were a season low for the fourth-year receiver, but all three of Denver's top wideouts may need to step up in Week 9 against the Cowboys.
-
Khadarel Hodge WR | SF
Lions' KhaDarel Hodge: Catchless against Eagles
Hodge was targeted twice but he did not record a catch during Sunday's 44-6 loss to the Eagles.
Hodge continues to serve in a complementary role on one of the worst offenses in the league. He'll remain a fantasy afterthought once Detroit returns from its Week 9 bye.

Amon-Ra St. Brown WR | DET
Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Modest rebound against Eagles
St. Brown caught three of five targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 44-6 loss to Philadelphia.
St. Brown easily led all Lions wideouts in targets on a day when nearly three quarters of Jared Goff's pass attempts went to tight ends and running backs. However, it was at least some sort of rebound for the rookie after he didn't see any targets last week against the Rams. This corresponded with Kalif Raymond's drop in usage, considering the veteran followed up his 100-yard Week 7 performance with a catchless outing Sunday. Still looking for a true breakout game, St. Brown won't be back on the field until Week 10, when Detroit travels to Pittsburgh.
