JuJu Smith-Schuster WR | NYG
Steelers' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Remains short-range target
Smith-Schuster recorded six receptions on seven targets for 41 yards in Sunday's Week 2 loss to the Raiders. He added one rush for three yards and a touchdown.
Smith-Schuster was out-targeted and out-gained by both Diontae Johnson (undisclosed) and Chase Claypool. Cutting against his high catch rate, Smith-Schuster's longest gain of the day went for 17 yards and marked his only double-digit reception of the contest. Smith-Schuster did find the end zone on a three-yard rush, though that's not likely to be a consistent source of production. On the other hand, his role could grow if Johnson is required to miss any time after suffering an apparent injury on the final play of Sunday's game.

Tyler Boyd WR | TEN
Bengals' Tyler Boyd: Catches seven passes
Boyd hauled in seven of his nine targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Bears.
Meanwhile, Tee Higgins caught six of his team-high 10 targets for 60 yards and a TD and rookie Ja'Marr Chase caught two of his four targets for 54 yards and a TD. It was a decent PPR bounce-back effort for Boyd, who caught three of his four targets for 32 yards in Week 1. The slot man should see decent volume more often than not and will look to keep the pace next weekend when the Bengals travel to Pittsburgh.

Robbie Chosen WR | WAS
Panthers' Robby Anderson: Quiet in Week 2 win
Anderson caught three of six targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.
So far, the reunion between Anderson and Sam Darnold hasn't resulted in much production for the wideout aside from a 57-yard TD in Week 1 -- the only target he saw in that game. Instead, DJ Moore has quickly emerged as Darnold's preferred option among his new group of wide receivers. Anderson at least saw solid target volume in this one, and he'll look to build on that performance Thursday on the road against a Texans secondary that gave up big numbers to both DJ Chark and Marvin Jones in Houston's opener.
-
Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Sees 10 targets in Week 2
Higgins caught six of his team-high 10 targets for 60 yards and a TD in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Bears.
Meanwhile, Tyler Boyd hauled in seven of his nine targets for 73 yards and rookie Ja'Marr Chase caught two of his four targets for 54 yards and a TD. Higgins -- who logged a 4-58-1 stat line in Week 1 -- figures to remain heavily involved in the Bengals' passing attack once again next weekend, when the team travels to Pittsburgh.
-
DJ Moore WR | BUF
Panthers' DJ Moore: Finds end zone against Saints
Moore caught eight of 11 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-7 win over the Saints.
For the second straight game, Moore was Sam Darnold's favorite option among Carolina's wideouts, and this time the duo connected on a 20-yard TD strike in the second quarter. Moore will look to keep his hot start going Thursday against a Texans defense that got lit up by DJ Chark and Marvin Jones in their opener.
-
Russell Gage WR | SF
Falcons' Russell Gage: Picks up ankle injury
Gage suffered an ankle injury during the second quarter of Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
Prior to his exit, Gage had hauled in both of his targets for 10 yards. The receptions marked his first two of the campaign, after he was unable to haul in either of his two targets Week 1 against the Eagles. As long as Gage is sidelined, Olamide Zaccheaus, Tajae Sharpe and Christian Blake will be the candidates for reps at wide receiver behind clear No. 1 WR Calvin Ridley.
-
Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Combines for over 100 yards in win
Samuel had six receptions (eight targets) for 93 yards and rushed twice for eight yards in Sunday's 17-11 win over the Eagles.
Samuel suffered a scare late in the contest when he was seen sitting down and favoring his leg on the sidelines, but it was confirmed that he was just dealing with a quadriceps cramp and did not suffer an injury, according to Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area. On the field, the 25-year-old picked up where he left off after leading the 49ers in receiving against the Lions in Week 1. Samuel recorded five more targets than the next wideout, and it has become apparent that he has become Jimmy Garoppolo's favorite target early on this season as both players bounce back from injury-plagued 2020 campaigns. The Green Bay Packers will be on tap for the 49ers next Sunday in a primetime matchup.

Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Jets' Jamison Crowder: Injury flared up Friday
Coach Robert Saleh indicated that Crowder's groin injury flared up Friday, leading to the receiver sitting out Sunday's loss to the Patriots, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
It remains to be seen if the setback was a minor one, but more should be known about Crowder's Week 3 status no later than Wednesday, when the Jets' first injury report of the week is released. If Crowder is out or limited next Sunday against the Broncos, added slot opportunities would be available for Braxton Berrios and Elijah Moore.
-
Laviska Shenault Jr. WR | BUF
Jaguars' Laviska Shenault: Delivers dud in Week 2
Shenault caught two of seven targets for minus-3 yards during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Broncos.
Shenault's seven targets ranked second on the team -- only Marvin Jones had more with 11 -- though he was unable to do anything with those looks. The 22-year-old is averaging only 5.2 yards per catch and 2.8 yards per target through the first two games of the season. Shenault was a popular sleeper pick following a strong offseason and training camp, but he hasn't produced much yet for the Jags or fantasy managers.
-
Zach Pascal WR | NYG
Colts' Zach Pascal: Back in end zone Sunday
Pascal secured five of six targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Pascal crossed the goal line for the third time in two games when he recorded an eight-yard scoring grab late in the third quarter in connection with Carson Wentz (ankle). The veteran clearly is a red-zone factor in coach Frank Reich's scheme, which helps make up for the fact Pascal doesn't flash much explosiveness between the 20s. Pascal will look to continue his hot start in a Week 3 road matchup against the Titans, but his outlook would undoubtedly suffer if Jacob Eason is forced to start the contest in Wentz's stead.
