Brandin Cooks WR | SF
Texans' Brandin Cooks: Heavy workload in loss
Cooks secured nine of 14 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 31-21 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
No other Texans wideout had more than one catch in the loss, cementing Cooks' status as the clear lead option on the depth chart. The veteran's steady stream of targets notably survived a change under center to rookie Davis Mills after Tyrod Taylor was forced out of the contest with a hamstring injury. Cooks has quickly drawn 21 targets over his first two contests, parlaying them into 14 catches for 210 yards and Sunday's two-yard touchdown connection with Mills. Cooks will look to keep up the strong numbers irrespective of who's under center when the Texans take on the Panthers in a Thursday night Week 3 contest.

Marquise Goodwin WR | CLE
Bears' Marquise Goodwin: Targeted three times
Goodwin caught one pass for 10 yards in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
While leading this game the entire way, the Bears threw just 24 passes, and Goodwin was the only Chicago receiver other than Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney to be targeted. Until he shows signs of consistent production, Goodwin will be a risky lineup option for fantasy managers.
-
Marvin Jones WR | DET
Jaguars' Marvin Jones: Adds anther score Week 2
Jones caught six of 11 targets for 55 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Broncos.
Jones led Jaguars in catches and targets, as QB Trevor Lawrence completed only 14 passes for 118 yards on the afternoon. The veteran wideout has showed a strong connection with the rookie signal-caller through two games and appears to be the top option in the passing game. Jones has caught 11 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns through two games, and he's been the only Jacksonville weapon to provide worthwhile production in each of the first pair of 2021 contests.

Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Dominant effort in Week 2 loss
Pittman (ankle) secured eight of 12 targets for 123 yards in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
A late-week addition to the injury report, Pittman shook off his questionable designation to pace the Colts in receptions, receiving yardage and targets on the afternoon. Pittman likely derived some benefit from the absence of fellow wideout Parris Campbell (abdomen), and he quickly made up for a lackluster three-catch showing from Week 1 that cast some doubt on his ability to live up to his current de facto status as the No. 1 wideout in the team's offense. Pittman will look to build on the stellar performance Week 3 when the Colts face off with the Titans in an AFC South road battle, but the health of quarterback Carson Wentz (ankle) undoubtedly will be pivotal to the receiver's fantasy outlook for that contest.
-
Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Bears' Darnell Mooney: Leads team in receiving
Mooney caught six passes for 66 yards in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Not only did Mooney lead the team in receiving yardage, but his eight targets made him the only Chicago receiver with more than four. With the Bears leading throughout, they only threw 24 passes, so he could be in line for even better production in future games when the team needs to keep up on the scoreboard, especially as the second option in what seems to be a fairly narrow team target tree.
-
Stefon Diggs WR | WAS
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Finds end zone in blowout win
Diggs caught four of eight targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-0 win over Miami.
Diggs scored from five yards out in the first quarter but it's disappointing that he wasn't more involved after that given Buffalo's success offensively. The Bills relied primarily on the ground game in the blowout win, but Diggs remains the team's clear top option in the passing game. After battling two of the league's top secondaries in the Steelers and Dolphins, Diggs should find more space to work with in Week 3 against Washington.
-
Allen Robinson WR | DET
Bears' Allen Robinson: Disappointing yardage total
Robinson caught two passes for 24 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 20-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Robinson scored on the first drive of the game but didn't make his next catch until the fourth quarter. However, his last two targets of the game were in the end zone on passes from Justin Fields with one being broken up, and the other one he dropped. Despite the disappointing performance, Robinson should continue to be one of the most productive wide receivers in the league, as he'll likely see solid target volume in most games.
-
DJ Chark WR | ATL
Jaguars' DJ Chark: Held to one catch Sunday
Chark caught one of four targets for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-13 loss to the Broncos.
Marvin Jones had a 25-yard touchdown reception to finish Jacksonville's opening possession, but QB Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the offense failed to get anything going the rest of the afternoon. Chark had only three catches Week 1 but was still targeted 12 times, and he wasn't nearly as involved in the offense this week. Outside of a 41-yard touchdown catch Week 1, the 24-year-old wideout has failed to establish a consistent connection with the rookie signal-caller through the first two games of 2021.
-
Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Injured late in Sunday's game
Johnson was helped off the field after suffering an unspecified injury late in Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Raiders, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Johnson logged a 9-105-0 stat line on 12 targets in the contest, but now the focus turns to his status for next Sunday's game against the Bengals. If he's out or limited next weekend, James Washington presumably would see added WR snaps behind Chase Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
-
Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Another prolific performance Sunday
Kupp secured nine of 11 targets for 163 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 27-24 win over the Colts on Sunday.
On the heels of a 7-108-1 line in the season-opening win over the Bears, Kupp outdid himself in only his second regular-season game working as one of Matthew Stafford's targets. The two have clearly built significant chemistry very quickly, and Kupp's game-high reception, receiving yardage and target totals Sunday included touchdown grabs of 16 and 10 yards in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. With two stellar performances to open the season, Kupp's fantasy stock is soaring in all formats going into a Week 3 home showdown against the Buccaneers.
