DJ Moore WR | BUF
Panthers' DJ Moore: Saturday status TBD
Moore (back) was in uniform and warming up prior to Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
The wideout dealt with some back tightness this past week, so it's unclear if he'll actually take the field Saturday. As could be the case with Robby Anderson (hamstring), the Panthers may be inclined to play it safe with their top two wide receivers in the contest and either rest the duo entirely or limit their snaps versus Baltimore.

Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Return timetable unclear
Coach Ron Rivera did not give a firm timetable when asked if Samuel (groin) would return to practice suggesting the wide receiver has "a little over 21 days" before the start of Week 1, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Samuel not surprisingly did not suit up for Friday's preseason win over the Bengals and could be in danger of missing the team's final exhibition contest given the lack of a concrete return timeline. The free-agent acquisition has missed most of training camp with a groin injury.

DJ Moore WR | BUF
Panthers' DJ Moore: Likely not playing
Moore (back) is unlikely to play Saturday against the Ravens, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Moore seemed to suffer a minor back injury Wednesday, so the Panthers will play it safe with their stud wideout. Terrace Marshall and David Moore will likely see the majority of the first-team work with Robby Anderson (hamstring) also unlikely to play.
-
DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Expected to sit
Parker (undisclosed) is not expected to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons.
Along with Parker, fellow wideouts Albert Wilson, Will Fuller, Lynn Bowden, Preston Williams and Isaiah Ford are listed as Miami players unlikely to play in the contest. It remains to be seen if Parker will suit up for the team's preseason finale, but it wouldn't surprise us if the team plays it safe with a number of its key skill players such as him next week, with an eye toward Week 1.

Robbie Chosen WR | WAS
Panthers' Robby Anderson: Unlikely to play Saturday
Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer doesn't expect Anderson (hamstring) to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Ravens.
The wideout was spotted doing some work during warmups, but the report suggests that Anderson is likely to be held out Saturday after missing both joint practices with Baltimore this past week. Fellow wideout DJ Moore (back) also seems unlikely to play in the contest, per Getzenberg.

Elijah Moore WR | PHI
Jets' Elijah Moore: Not spotted in warmups
Moore (quadriceps) is not in line to suit up Saturday versus the Packers, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
This wasn't a surprise considering Moore was expected 2-to-3 weeks after injuring his quadriceps in practice ahead of the team's preseason opener. The dynamic rookie was arguably one of the Jets' breakout training-camp stars and still appears to be on track for Week 1 of the regular season.
-
Denzel Mims WR | DAL
Jets' Denzel Mims: Not expected to play Saturday
Mims (undisclosed) is not in line to play Saturday against the Packers, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Based on warmups, both Mims and Elijah Moore (quadriceps) will be unavailable Saturday. The Baylor product was carted to the locker room earlier this week with an undisclosed injury, capping off what has been, to date, a miserable training camp for the 2020 second-round pick. Mims still has an opportunity to hit the practice field in the next couple of days in an effort to participate in the team's final preseason contest coming up against the Eagles on Friday.
-
Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Won't play Saturday
Adams was among the Packers who did not suit up for Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Other key players among the 32 Packers who will not play in the contest include QB Aaron Rodgers, fellow WRs Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, as well as RB Aaron Jones and TE Robert Tonyan.
-
Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: First-teamer
Peoples-Jones has been working with the first-team offense during this week of practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
As a rookie in 2020, Peoples-Jones was behind KhaDarel Hodge in the pecking order to start the season, but the second-year wideout has flipped the script in 2021. He's been one of the stars of camp and should see an expanded role this season, though expectations should be tempered. The Browns run a lot of "12" personnel (two tight ends), meaning two wideouts on the field. More often than not, those two wideouts will be Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry. Peoples-Jones is looking to build off a strong finish from 2020, when he averaged 40 snaps, two catches, three targets and 44 yards per game over the final six contests, including two playoff games.
-
Allen Robinson WR | DET
Bears' Allen Robinson: Not slated to face Bills
Robinson is among the key Chicago players not in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Bills, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports.
It remains to be seen if Robinson will see any action in the team's preseason finale on Aug. 28, but given that he dealt with a hamstring issue earlier this month, it's not surprising that the Bears are playing it safe with their top wideout versus Buffalo on Saturday.
