Elijah Moore WR | PHI
Jets' Elijah Moore: Not spotted in warmups
Moore (quadriceps) is not in line to suit up Saturday versus the Packers, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
This wasn't a surprise considering Moore was expected 2-to-3 weeks after injuring his quadriceps in practice ahead of the team's preseason opener. The dynamic rookie was arguably one of the Jets' breakout training-camp stars and still appears to be on track for Week 1 of the regular season.

Denzel Mims WR | DAL
Jets' Denzel Mims: Not expected to play Saturday
Mims (undisclosed) is not in line to play Saturday against the Packers, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.
Based on warmups, both Mims and Elijah Moore (quadriceps) will be unavailable Saturday. The Baylor product was carted to the locker room earlier this week with an undisclosed injury, capping off what has been, to date, a miserable training camp for the 2020 second-round pick. Mims still has an opportunity to hit the practice field in the next couple of days in an effort to participate in the team's final preseason contest coming up against the Eagles on Friday.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Packers' Davante Adams: Won't play Saturday
Adams was among the Packers who did not suit up for Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Other key players among the 32 Packers who will not play in the contest include QB Aaron Rodgers, fellow WRs Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, as well as RB Aaron Jones and TE Robert Tonyan.

Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Browns' Donovan Peoples-Jones: First-teamer
Peoples-Jones has been working with the first-team offense during this week of practice, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
As a rookie in 2020, Peoples-Jones was behind KhaDarel Hodge in the pecking order to start the season, but the second-year wideout has flipped the script in 2021. He's been one of the stars of camp and should see an expanded role this season, though expectations should be tempered. The Browns run a lot of "12" personnel (two tight ends), meaning two wideouts on the field. More often than not, those two wideouts will be Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry. Peoples-Jones is looking to build off a strong finish from 2020, when he averaged 40 snaps, two catches, three targets and 44 yards per game over the final six contests, including two playoff games.
-
Allen Robinson WR | DET
Bears' Allen Robinson: Not slated to face Bills
Robinson is among the key Chicago players not in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Bills, Adam Jahns of The Athletic reports.
It remains to be seen if Robinson will see any action in the team's preseason finale on Aug. 28, but given that he dealt with a hamstring issue earlier this month, it's not surprising that the Bears are playing it safe with their top wideout versus Buffalo on Saturday.

N'Keal Harry TE | SEA
Patriots' N'Keal Harry: Expected to miss time
Harry (shoulder) is expected to miss about four weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Under that timetable, it doesn't look like Harry will be available for Week 1 action, and if his injury is slow to heal it's possible that he could spend some time on IR out of the gate this season. When healthy, the 2019 first-rounder will look to carve out a role in the Patriots' wideout corps behind Nelson Agholor, Jakobi Meyers and Kendrick Bourne.
-
Isaiah Hodgins WR | NYG
Bills' Isaiah Hodgins: Not playing Saturday
Hodgins (knee) will not play Saturday against the Bears, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports.
The second-year wide receiver is competing for one of the team's final roster spots so this is obviously not an ideal situation. The likes of Jake Kumerow, Marquez Stevenson and Brandon Powell could see more playing time as a result.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Football Team's Curtis Samuel: Unsurprisingly out Friday
Samuel (groin) did not play in Friday's preseason win over the Bengals, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Perhaps more alarming, Standig suggested Samuel may be in danger of missing the preseason finale if he's unable to practice at any point this week. The big-ticket offseason signing has yet to participate in training camp thanks to a lingering groin injury, but coach Ron Rivera has continually downplayed the absence suggesting Samuel already has solid knowledge of the Scott Turner offense thanks to his days with the Panthers.
-
Cam Sims WR | CAR
Football Team's Cam Sims: Loses fumbles
Sims caught two of three targets for 19 yards in Friday's preseason win over Cincinnati, but he lost a fumble on one of the receptions.
If you're looking for a silver lining, the fumble did come while QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the first-team offense were still on the field. Then again, Sims might not've been on the field with them if Curtis Samuel (groin) had been ready to play. In any case, the 6-5 wideout finds himself competing for a roster spot after starting for much of last season, as Washington added Samuel, Dyami Brown and Adam Humphries this offseason. Sims looks like the fourth or fifth option at wide receiver, if he keeps his roster spot at all.
-
Adam Humphries WR | HOU
Football Team's Adam Humphries: Sees three targets from Fitzpatrick
Humphries finished without a catch on three targets in Friday's preseason game against Cincinnati.
The good news is that Humphries saw all three of his targets from projected starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, after accounting for two of Fitz's eight passes in the preseason opener. The veteran slot receiver is now just 1-of-5 for six yards this preseason, but the usage suggests he's on track for the No. 3 receiver role, or at least in position to split it with another player -- possibly rookie third-round pick Dyami Brown. Humphries probably needs the job to himself to have a real shot at mainstream fantasy value, even in an offense that heavily relies on three-wide sets.
