  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabriel Davis: Absent from Wednesday's practice

The Bills listed Davis (ankle) as a non-participant during Wednesday's practice.

Davis picked up the ankle injury during Saturday's divisional-round win over the Ravens, but he was only forced to miss a few snaps before returning to the field. The rookie ultimately went without a catch on four targets, perhaps an indication that he wasn't playing at full strength. Davis will have two more opportunities to resume practicing ahead of Sunday's AFC Championship Game in Kansas City.

  • Stefon Diggs WR | WAS

Bills' Stefon Diggs: Logs limited practice

The Bills listed Diggs (oblique) as a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Diggs logged limited practice sessions last Tuesday and Wednesday before being listed as a full participant Thursday. He then entered Saturday's divisional-round win over the Ravens minus an injury designation, finishing the day with eight receptions on 11 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown. With no reported setbacks in that contest, his listed limitations Wednesday were likely maintenance-related. He should be ready to handle a full snap count in this weekend's AFC Championship Game in Kansas City.

  • Quez Watkins WR | IND

Eagles' Quez Watkins: Sees more action toward year's end

Watkins finished the 2020 campaign with seven catches on 13 targets for 106 yards and a touchdown across six appearances.

The rookie sixth-round pick spent the beginning of the campaign on injured reserve, and once activated Week 4, he was initially buried on the depth chart at wide receiver. The Eagles gained more trust in Watkins over the final quarter of the season, however, as he played at least 22 snaps in three of the last four games and drew a target in each of those contests. Watkins will still rank fairly low on the depth chart heading into 2021, making it difficult for him to carve out meaningful fantasy value.

  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Titans' A.J. Brown: Undergoes surgery on both knees

Brown revealed on social media Tuesday that he recently underwent surgery on both of his knees, Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports.

Brown explained the severity of his injuries by revealing that the Titans' medical staff suggested he should be shut down for the year in Week 2. Nevertheless, the second-year receiver battled through the pair of injuries and piled up 70 receptions (106 targets) for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns, receiving Pro Bowl honors in the process. According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Brown should be ready for the 2021 season.

  • Saints' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Earns future deal

Humphrey signed a reserve/future contract with the Saints on Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Humphrey played in the final three regular-season games, and he logged a 54 percent snap share in the wild-card win over the Bears. Over those four contests, Humphrey recorded four receptions (six targets) for 60 yards and a touchdown. While he's not expected to crack the starting lineup anytime soon, Humphrey could earn a depth role in the Big Easy next year.

  • J.J. Koski WR | DEN

Rams' J.J. Koski: Inks future deal

Koski signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on Monday, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.

Koski didn't play at all during his rookie season. The Rams' starting wide receivers are locked in for the 2021 campaign, so Koski will need to carve out a special-teams role to make the team.

  • Tee Higgins WR | CIN

Bengals' Tee Higgins: Finishes with 908 yards

Higgins (hamstring) finished his rookie season with 67 catches for 908 yards and six touchdowns on 108 targets.

Higgins played all 16 games, though he took just 15 snaps in Week 1 and three snaps in Week 17. In the eight games he and Joe Burrow both started and finished, Higgins averaged 5.0 catches for 75.4 yards and 0.5 TDs. The young wideout then averaged 4.8 catches for 55.8 yards and 0.4 TDs while playing with backup quarterbacks Weeks 12-16, before injuring his hamstring in the first quarter of the season finale. Higgins should return to health long before Burrow, who will be about 10 months removed from tearing his ACL when the 2021 regular season kicks off.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Could see role expand

Mooney (ankle) appears locked in as a key part of the Bears offense, while the rest of the wideout group is in flux, ESPN.com's Jeff Dickerson reports.

It'll be an interesting offseason in Chicago with WR Allen Robinson and QB Mitchell Trubisky both scheduled to become unrestricted free agents in March. That leaves Mooney, RB David Montgomery and TE Cole Kmet locked in as building blocks at the skill positions, whereas Anthony Miller, Jimmy Graham and Javon Wims are on shakier footing. Mooney finished his rookie year with 61 catches for 631 yards and four touchdowns on 98 targets, playing 73 percent of Chicago's offensive snaps. The workload was surprisingly large for a fifth-round pick, and his subpar efficiency stats -- 62.2 percent catch rate, 10.3 YPR, 6.4 YPT -- were bogged down by Trubisky and Foles' poor accuracy on deep throws. Mooney had his best game of the season Week 17, but he injured his ankle in the process and wasn't able to suit up for the playoff loss to New Orleans. He should have plenty of time to recover from his injury before the Bears' offseason program starts up in April/May. It remains to be seen whether Trubisky, Foles or someone else will take the first snap at OTAs.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Rams' Josh Reynolds: Likely hitting free-agent market

Reynolds isn't expected to sign an extension with the Rams, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

While the 25-year-old receiver finished the season with career-high totals in receptions (52), receiving yards (618) and offensive snaps (803), he never fully took advantage of his role as the No. 3 receiver in the offense. Reynolds was viewed as a possible deep threat but only had one reception for over 40 yards, and he matched his yard-per-target mark of 7.6 from the previous two seasons. He should receive some attention in the free-agent market, but Reynolds is unlikely to elevate beyond being a supporting and/or depth receiver.
