  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Won't play in Week 17

Aiyuk, who suffered a high-ankle sprain in this past Saturday's win over the Cardinals, won't play in Sunday's season finale against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Aiyuk thus finishes the campaign with a team-high 60 catches (on 96 targets) for 748 yards and five TDs in 12 games. Looking ahead to next season, the 2020 first-rounder will bring solid fantasy upside to the table, but the 49ers offense could look a bit different next season, once the team's offseason personnel moves shake out.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabriel Davis: Teammate not ready to return

Davis' teammate John Brown was activated from injured reserve Monday but was then moved to the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Bills' official site reports.

That keeps Davis as the No. 3 guy in the wide receiver pecking order behind Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley for at least one more game, Monday at New England. Davis didn't do much of anything on five targets last week with just two catches for 18 yards, but he scored a TD in the three games prior, all of them with Brown out due to an ankle injury. Davis has played at least 83 percent of the offensive snaps in the four most recent games Brown has missed.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Concussion confirmed

Coach Frank Reich said Monday that Pittman is in the league's five-step concussion protocol, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Pittman hauled in three of five targets for 38 yards before being force out of last weekend's loss to the Steelers due to the brain injury. He'll need to garner full medical clearance in order to suit up against the Jaguars on Sunday, with the Colts still competing for a playoff berth.

  • David Moore WR | CAR

Seahawks' David Moore: Catches deep pass

Moore hauled in his lone target for a 45-yard gain in Sunday's 20-9 win over the Rams.

On the opening drive of the second half, Moore made a deep catch down the right sideline on third down to help set up the Seahawks' first touchdown of the game. This was Moore's third reception of more than 40 yards this season, setting a new career high in the category.

  • Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Records 19-yard reception

Westbrook-Ikhine caught his only target for 19 yards in Week 16 against the Packers.

Westbrook-Ikhine played 13 offensive snaps, in line with his playing time from Weeks 13 and 14. He was targeted only once but made it count, pushing the Titans deep into Green Bay territory during a fourth-quarter drive. Westbrook-Ikhine now was three receptions on the season and will provide limited -- if any -- production in Week 17 against the Texans.

  • Quintez Cephus WR | HOU

Lions' Quintez Cephus: Two targets in meaningless game

Cephus caught one of two targets for nine yards during Saturday's 47-7 loss to Tampa Bay.

Despite getting eliminated from playoff contention last week and falling behind 34 points at halftime, the Lions again decided to have Cephus finish fourth in playing time behind three 30-plus-year-old receivers who aren't under contract beyond this season. Knowing we can't rely upon Detroit to maximize the rookie's playing time in meaningless games, Cephus is nothing more than a dart throw Week 17 against a Vikings defense that has allowed the seventh-most yards per pass attempt since Week 8. However, it might not matter if quarterback Matthew Stafford (ankle) can't play.

  • Steelers' James Washington: Targeted three times in win

Washington brought in two of his three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Colts.

Washington was held without a catch in the Steelers' Week 15 loss to the Bengals, but he was slightly more productive against Indianapolis. The 24-year-old has been targeted at least three times in each of the past six weeks, but he's averaging just 26.7 yards per game with two touchdowns during that time.

  • Chase Claypool WR | BUF

Steelers' Chase Claypool: Tops 50 yards again

Claypool caught four of his six targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 28-24 win over the Colts.

Claypool has been consistent over the last two weeks, recording 54 receiving yards in both contests while being targeted 14 times during that span. Although the rookie has topped 50 yards in six of the last eight games, he hasn't reached the end zone since Week 11. Claypool now has hauled in 57 of his 98 targets for 772 yards and eight touchdowns with just one week remaining in the regular season.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Titans' Corey Davis: Goes without catch Week 16

Davis failed to corral either of his two targets Sunday in the Titans' 40-14 loss to the Packers.

Though Davis played 45 of 55 offensive snaps (82 percent) while the Titans trailed for most of the night, he didn't benefit from what normally would have been a pass-happy game script. Due to the snowy conditions and slick field in Green Bay, the Titans opted for a nearly even pass-run split (28-27), leaving few targets to go around for any member of the pass-catching corps. As a result, Davis was held without a reception for the second time this season, the only blemishes on what has otherwise been a breakout campaign for the fourth-year wideout. With 945 receiving yards on the season, Davis will still have a fair shot at cracking 1,000 when he takes on a vulnerable Houston secondary in the Titans' regular-season finale Jan. 3.

  • Dante Pettis WR | SF

Giants' Dante Pettis: Reels in two passes in debut

Pettis caught two of three targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Ravens.

Pettis finally made his Giants debut and finished third among the team's wide receivers by playing 29 of 64 offensive snaps. The 2018 second-round pick for the 49ers will look to build on this performance against a soft Dallas defense in Week 17.
