  • K.J. Osborn WR | TEN

Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Sitting down for Week 12

Osborn (coach's decision) is inactive for Minnesota's Week 12 matchup against the Panthers.

Osborn leads the Vikings in both punt-return attempts (four) and kick-return attempts (13) thus far in 2020, but Tajae Sharpe has been activated and inserted above him at the No. 5 wide receiver spot. With Osborn out of the mix for Week 12, Ameer Abdullah and Chad Beebe are likely to garner opportunities in the return game.

  • Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Elevates to No. 1 WR spot

Jefferson is slotted in as Minnesota's No. 1 wide receiver for Week 12 with Adam Thielen remaining on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Thielen's status seemed to be up in the air for Sunday's matchup against Carolina after he logged conflicting results on COVID-19 screenings during the practice week. The veteran was unable to gain clearance for kickoff, opening the door for Jefferson to potentially garner a massive target share Week 12. The rookie out of LSU sits with 45 receptions, 848 receiving yards and four touchdowns on the 2020 campaign, amassing that production via a workload of 5.9 targets per game. Carolina has been respectable in allowing 7.8 yards per target to opposing WRs this season (eighth best), and the Panthers are one of just 12 teams to have held the position to single digits in receiving TDs (nine).

  • Jakeem Grant WR | ATL

Dolphins' Jakeem Grant: Gains clearance for Week 12

Grant (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets.

A mid-week addition to the Dolphins' injury report, Grant was at least able to practice in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday to clear up most of the concern about his hamstring injury. With Preston Williams (foot) still on injured reserve, Grant is expected to continue working as the clear No. 2 wide receiver behind DeVante Parker. After churning out six receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets while Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) was under center the past two games, Grant will have to adjust to a new quarterback in Week 12, as Ryan Fitzpatrick steps in for the injured rookie signal-caller.

  • Calvin Ridley WR | TEN

Falcons' Calvin Ridley: Poised for additional volume

Ridley will take on a bigger role in the Falcons offense Sunday versus the Raiders with Julio Jones (hamstring) sidelined, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Ridley has been targeted 10 or more times in four games this season, and two of those occurred with Jones out of the lineup. In those contests -- Week 3 versus the Bears and Week 5 against the Panthers -- Ridley combined for 13 catches, 246 yards and no touchdowns on 23 targets. Facing the Raiders' 28th-ranked pass defense (273.6 yards per game) should be a boon for Ridley's Week 12 prospects.

  • Zach Pascal WR | NYG

Colts' Zach Pascal: Set to play Sunday

Pascal (knee/foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans, Andrew Walker of the Colts' official site reports.

The Colts listed Pascal as a non-participant on their first two practice reports of the week before he was able to get back on the field Friday as a limited participant. The Indianapolis coaching and training staffs were apparently satisfied with how Pascal looked during that session, so he should be on track to fill his normal starting role in the team's receiving corps. Pascal has been consistent -- if unspectacular -- over the past five games, finishing with between three and five receptions and 33 and 54 receiving yards in each contest.

  • N'Keal Harry TE | SEA

Patriots' N'Keal Harry: Suiting up Sunday

Harry (shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Harry headed into Week 11 listed as questionable, but he suited up for the Patriots' loss to the Texans, logging 52 of a possible 69 snaps on offense en route to catching five of his eight targets for 41 yards. With Damiere Byrd and Jakobi Meyers in line to see their share of targets Sunday and Donte Moncrief also in the mix, Harry continues to profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy option in what has been an inconsistent New England passing offense.

  • Adam Thielen WR | PIT

Vikings' Adam Thielen: Won't face Panthers

Thielen (undisclosed) won't play Sunday against the Panthers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The two-time Pro Bowl receiver had a COVID-19 screening come back positive Monday, but a subsequent result showed him to be negative. However, Thielen hasn't been able to clear league protocols in time for kickoff, meaning rookie breakout Justin Jefferson will likely be thrust into an even more prominent role against Carolina's 19th-ranked pass defense. Week 12 marks Thielen's first missed game of the 2020 campaign. He sat out six games in 2019 because of hamstring injuries.

  • Kendall Hinton WR | DEN

    Broncos' Kendall Hinton: Officially elevated

Hinton has been elevated to the Broncos' active roster from the team's practice squad.

Per Troy Renck of Denver 7 News, Hinton will draw the start at QB for the Broncos on Sunday, an assignment that arrives as the result of Drew Lock, Brett Rypien and Blake Bortles -- who were considered to be high-risk COVID-19 close contacts -- being unavailable for the game, in addition to Jeff Driskel testing positive for COVID-19. Hinton was signed by the team this past April to work as a wide receiver at the pro level, but he did start his college career at Wake Forest as a quarterback before shifting to wideout last season. Given the timing and the unique circumstances in play here, we'd expect the Broncos to employ a run-heavy game plan in Week 12.

  • Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE

Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Should play Sunday

Jeudy (ankle/Achilles), who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jeudy wasn't able to practice fully at any point from Wednesday through Friday, but the Broncos evidently don't expect either of his listed injuries to hamper him too much. Instead, Jeudy's greater concern is the quarterback situation, as all four of the top signal-callers in the organization (starter Drew Lock, top backup Brett Rypien, third-stringer Jeff Driskel and practice squad member Blake Bortles) are all unavailable Sunday after landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list in the aftermath of Driskel's positive test Thursday. As a result, the Broncos are expected to turn the offense over to practice squad receiver Kendall Hinton, who hasn't played quarterback since his redshirt junior season at Wake Forest in 2018. Expect Denver to favor a run-heavy, lower-tempo game plan for as long as Sunday's contest is competitive, making Jeudy a much less dependable fantasy option than he otherwise would be.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabriel Davis: Extra action in store

Davis' teammate John Brown was placed on injured reserve Saturday due to a knee injury.

Davis was already lined up for a main role in Sunday's game against the Chargers, but he'll now get at least two more games in a top-three role due to his veteran teammate being moved to IR. Perhaps that extra bit of responsibility is enough to break a tie for those managers choosing between deeper WR options.
